I immensely enjoyed everything about this book with particular attention to the voice and style.
The author’s voice is reflected uniquely throughout the content which takes the reviewer on an emotional journey from aha! moments, to identifying with many experiences, thereby almost making it a personal story. A narrative — evoking smiles, full-on laughter, sadness, copious tears, hope, inspiration becoming gratitude for life. The author shares her powerful voice with other guest voices to magnificently enrich the final product.
The style of Hello, GRACE is one of singular simplicity. The brevity of each chapter makes for fast paced reading as the reviewer is left eagerly turning the pages. The non-linear technique within the framework of her five pillars — Gratitude, Resilience, Awareness, Connection, Evolution — and the self-help/mini therapy refrain of the “Something to Think About” all pepper the author’s pages with a treasure trove of golden nuggets, thus engaging the reviewer even further from beginning to end. By so doing, the reviewer rediscovers self, through GRACE. The reader rediscovers self, through GRACE.
The voices and pillars are so interwoven with each other, thereby shaping a grand tapestry that is our — life — the author, the reviewer, the reader.
Bravo to the author, Lydia Knorr, for creating this gracefully, grace-filled keepsake for the soul — a “lifey” showing all how to live life to its full extent — the good bits and the bad bits — excluding nothing.
The reviewer gives this book 5 Stars, and recommends it for one and all as it targets nobody in particular, yet is for everybody who needs some peace in an otherwise frantic life.

Hello, GRACE is a beautifully structured and accessible memoir rooted in Lydia Knorr’s five pillars: Gratitude, Resilience, Awareness, Connection, and Evolution. With short, reflective chapters and a conversational tone, the book reads like a heartfelt letter from a friend, one who’s committed to helping others find meaning after loss.

As a fellow young widow, I appreciated Lydia’s willingness to explore how grief can deepen our sense of presence and purpose. Her reflections on gratitude—especially how it can shift our focus away from anxiety and help us appreciate who stuck around through the good and the bad—offered moments of resonance.

This book invites readers to tune into their instincts, embrace change, and move forward with grace. It’s a gentle and hope-filled read for anyone navigating transition or hardship.

I was amazed at how honest Lydia and the guest authors opened their hearts to share their stories of grief, pain, gratitude, and healing. Throughout the book you’re given the opportunity to reflect on examples from your own life, and I appreciated how this allowed me think about and evaluate my own experiences.

The stories are well written and full of emotion. Thank you, Lydia, for sharing your personal journey so that others can find purpose and meaning after loss, with GRACE. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an uplifting and inspirational read.

Hello, Grace is a mirror into one's path in grief and illustrates how to navigate forward to that place of growth. Each chapter is like a poem that speaks to your soul.

Life is not a straight line and Hello, Grace illustrates this through the 5 elements that represent Grace.

Get out the tissue. Be prepared to feel every emotion and learn from the wisdom through self reflection. You won't want to put Grace down.

In “Grace”…Lydia Knorr masterfully illustrates that while giving advice can be easy, true strength comes from enduring life's trials and emerging transformed. She not only shares her own journey through pain and adversity, but also offers invaluable insights that resonate with anyone seeking understanding and healing. Knorr reminds us that the ultimate stage of healing is using our experiences to uplift others. “Grace” unwraps the complexities of suffering, guiding readers on a path to rediscovering themselves and embracing the happiness they truly deserve.
