Snow Ghost

Rate this book
The sheriff's thoughts were focused on the corpse, a female, naked and frozen solid, placed face up on the gurney. The arms were outstretched, hands extended, palms flat, knees slightly bent, breasts protruding, pubic hair so brittle it would crack to the touch. The body was found standing, leaning against the large center picture window at the rear of the cabin, hands pressed against the glass. The look of anger, more than fear, was formed into the face, staring into the lighted, once heated, room.

As the sheriff looked at the corpse lying on the gurney, he couldn't help but wonder how the woman got there, how long had she been there and more importantly, how did she get frozen solid without moving?
