I had read extracts of the authors' other books and having spent most of my life in schools I really wanted to read this one.

I enjoyed the structure of the book, going through the school year put the reader showed the highs & lows of the academic year. So much of events made me laugh out loud, remembering events I experienced as well as ones told in numerous staff rooms. The style of writing is great and the way the two authors interact is fun. Teaching is not all fun and games and sometimes it is pretty brutal. The authors capture the sheer magic it can be, along with the familiar moans. I hope this shines a light on those who think Primary Teaching is easy!

Thanks to Netgalley & the publisher for letting me read & review this book.
