I only listened to the first book on audio. The first male lead was a hate sink and loathsome. This is the kind of book you see people throw across the room in annoyance. The book may be better in paper format as I suspect it has formatting to help with pacing.

Read the book for my book club selection for August. I thought it was just okay. Very predictable and boring.

saai, voorspelbaar, irritant. geen aanrader wat mij betreft. 2 sterren omdat de hoofdpersoon een onsympathieke vrouw is en daar houd ik van

🎧 this may have been the most confusing audio recording I’ve ever listened to - it was so hard to tell when she was talking as the character and talking to you the reader and that in turn made the story really convoluted

This book was actually really good and I had no idea where it was going but I was pleasantly surprised with the twist.
