Who knew giving my absentee dad an award for Father's Day would have such pleasant consequences for both of us?
My dad would rather spend the third Sunday in June on the golf course than with me. He also missed my (25th) birthday again this year. I send a little present to him at the country club. When he shows up at my condo to put his award to good use, I think he's joking.
He is not joking. What happens next leads to the best Sunday afternoon of my life. I take it back -- he might deserve the award for Sperm Donor of the Year, after all.
A dad's love never goes out of style.
During the month of June, join us as we celebrate ten dads who can't say no to their sons. Introducing the #1Dad Taboo Father's Day multi-author taboo series collaboration.
This is the first book that I've read by this author and I was actually really surprised with how much I ended up enjoying it. At the beginning I was worried that the story was going to go more in the direction of dubcon - Mitch, the father, comes across as a raving a-hole - but it turns out that that isn't the case. Mitch's initial response to Adam's "Sperm Donor of the Year" award is actually fueled by the fact that he has been attracted to his son for years and wanted a relationship with him, but just didn't know how to go about it. It's kind of sweet how he lets himself become vulnerable and opens up to Adam about the lifestyle that he's engaged in and how much he wants him. Both men have wanted to be closer but mistakes and misunderstandings had created distance between them and the story is really about father and son finally communicating, being honest with each other, and discovering a scorching hot physical compatibility. Like 🔥🔥🔥 I loved how the author included Adam's best friend, Braxton, in a side story of his own with his uncle and how the four men decide to branch out into business together. And what a business! I don't want to spoil any surprises here, so I guess you'll just have to read this book for yourself to find out what happens. There's a lot of steam but, more so, there's a lot of heartwarming moments and affection and I really enjoyed this taboo read.
Adam & Mitch Taboo is not typically within my purview, but I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Their relationship is incredibly unconventional, but that's completely the point. They decide they want to be together no matter the societal impact.
I liked that, even though the beginning of their physical relationship stemmed from their antagonistic feelings as father and son, they move to open communication and affirmation to help them grow together as partners. I also really liked the fact that these were two well-established adults making the decision to come together. I've seen some stories that move into taboo territory when one or more of the MCs are barely adults, and I think this story played off better because they were both more (relatively) mature.
I really found this book to be exciting to read, and beyond spicy! There are several bits/references of kink in scenes, and lots of dildo usage, but there are no real other negative triggers or issues. As long as you don't mind a father and son coming together as they see fit and in an eventual romantic nature, this is a great book to read.
I received an authorized copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.
I loved everything about this book. Mitch was not ready to be a father when he became one. Adam is angry with his father because of the way he avoids him and doesn’t acknowledge that he is his son. After Adam surprised his dad with a special gift stating that he is The Sperm Donor of the year Mitch got so mad that he drove over to Adam’s place to teach him a lesson. He taught him something alright. From that point they decided that they wanted each other so they are making it work. I also love the new club that they have started and can’t wait to see what other adventures they get into. I definitely recommend this book to everyone who loves kinky mm daddy stories.

We started off being told how emotionally and physically unavailable the dad is (he's "too busy for a family"?), then we swap to the dad's POV with him lamenting the loss of a relationship that isn't his ex-wife or his son. I was just given all the Shitty Dad Tea, and this man has the audacity to think he's not been a bad father, that he has the right to be angry and “punish”? We find out that the dad had been wanting to fuck the son for a year and was a little pissy that the son hadn’t gotten the memo a year before in the locker room; I didn’t make it more than a few sentences after that.
Taboo cest, a bit estranged father x son, age gap, verse, double penetration, hurt/comfort, low angst.
Loved it! Now I need books and stories for everyone in the new club, especially Jace and Braxton, and Ronan and Noel. Would love a prequel of Mitch slutting it up with his friends in orgies in his country club too lol that sounded hot.
I was worried that Adam wouldn't be able to get any answers for how Mitch treated him growing up, but I'm glad there was that strip scene where Mitch acknowledged his wrongs, and they were able to air their grievances (mostly Adam) and solves things between them.
This was a much more comprehensive story than I was expecting from such a short book/novella. I was satisfied that everything I worried about was hit and solved, but would still like sequels or more books revolving around their "family" club. What a great opportunity to write about any and all couples that sign up for it.
Adam and Mitch story was hot. A perceived ruined relationship gets to the next level with a prank that will give them a new closure and their hearts’ desires. They discover together the perfect way of being together, but they had a couple of obstacles along the way. I liked their moments together and their chemistry, as well as the way they learned new things about themselves and being truthful about their feelings. I enjoyed the story, and I’m looking forward to seeing more.
Sperm Donor of the Year is a part of the multi-author series #1Dad Taboo Father's Day Series. I didn't know what to expect but Sperm Donor of the Year turned out to be a short but good read. Adam and Mitch were estranged but an unusual gift for Father's Day made all the difference. Good story. I can't wait to read the next book.

Mitch was not a great dad. Adam was constantly hurt by his behavior. A revenge prank cooked up with his bestie Braxton backfires in the best way. They finally open up and express their hurt over their failed relationship. They also move the goalposts and start a taboo relationship because they're both attracted to each other. The scenes between them were absolutely filthy and I want to see more of them along with Braxton, Jace and other family members.
This was so very hot... Mitch is a very bad father and Adam is going to make that very clear. The trouble (or not) is that Mitch is going to put an end to Adam prank with a bang. Very little story, but many heated moments between father and son. This is not my usual kind of book but OMG it was hot!.

Very cute and fluffy cest-y book. I enjoyed how the relationship grows over the book. What started off as a strained relationship, to 'this little f**ker is gonna learn today' to the HEA at the end. I really hope there's more familial bonds that was briefly mentioned that we get explore with their own books later on.
Another very naughty but enjoyable Taboo storyline. I liked how great the characters were which helped you understand them and deal with their incestious relationship. Plenty of very steamy moments between them that kept me completely enthralled! Not just smut an engaging read!.

Mitch gets an award from his son Adam, "Sperm donor of the year". A very erotic and taboo quick read, with a father/son relationship. Can't say I've read a story with that dynamic before...

When his dad forgets his birthday again, Adam sends him a Father's day gift that has him coming over to his house to meld out a punishment. Thing is Adam wants and likes the punishment.

From revenge to relationship this book was a whirlwind of emotions. It started out hot and just got hotter. I really enjoyed this story and I hope we get more stories from these characters.

This is a fast paced and spicy read. Mitch has been a terrible father, while he tried to cry for him in his own way his parental skills were lacking and he has no trouble admitting this fact. However, no matter how laid back his parenting style is, he cannot overlook the disrespectful gift presented to him on fathers day. Sure he has been a terrible father… but he is determined to be a good Daddy.
This read was seriously so good. I am immediately captivated by Adam and his outlandish and bratty way he goes about getting Mitch’s attention. The things that these two get up to are absolutely filthy. I also loved getting a peek at the side characters I am hoping will get their own story.
If you are a fan of taboo reads this is one I would highly suggest.
I know it's already pretty short, but it probably would have worked better as a shorter story. The characters' initial animosity was far more convincing than their reconciliation . Mitch was not a believable character, since he revealed motives that contradicted his initial indifferent behavior.
