I read this author's book, The First to Lie , back in 2020 and loved it. I was an outlier on the positive side for that one. I was excited to get Hank Phillippi Ryan's newest release, and I wasn't disappointed. In this book, debut author Tessa is on a book tour that turns into a nightmare when she realizes she is being stalked. The stalker wants to ruin her career and hurt her family. As the threats get worse, poor Tessa has to deal with a secret she'd rather keep hidden. Will Tessa find out who the stalker is before her secret is revealed?

This was a pretty cool concept, and the execution worked. It was tense yet not drawn out. This is the ultimate example of a page-turner. I couldn't wait to see what would happen next and find out who the stalker was. I loved that it was about an author in a cat-and-mouse game with an unknown entity. Tessa wasn't always likable, but she was well-defined and complex. There's no boring, mousy woman in this one. The pace is fast, and the tension builds with a sense of dread throughout the entire book. There are plenty of red herrings, and the twists are clever without insulting the reader's intelligence. I like the way Ryan portrays the cost of success and how secrets will always haunt you. If you enjoy psychological suspense thrillers, this one will leave you satisfied.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

In a Nutshell: A cat-and-mouse thriller unfurling during an author's promotional book tour. Annoying characters, annoying plot developments, annoying repetition, annoying ending. I came THIS 🤏🏻 close to DNFing it! Instead, I powered through it with loads of eyerolling and tsk-tsking. This is an outlier opinion. I'm officially giving up on contemporary thrillers.

Plot Preview:
Tessa Calloway never dreamt that her debut novel would be a bestselling sensation, or that her lead character Annabelle would inspire hundreds of women to stand up for themselves. Tessa is currently on a whirlwind book tour across the country, travelling and visiting local indie bookstores for reader interactions. She has nothing to worry about as her two kids are in safe hands with her husband Henry back home.
Well, she *didn't* have anything to worry about. But now, Henry's behaving suspiciously. Moreover, someone seems to be stalking Tessa on her tour, deliberately sabotaging not just her possessions but also her reputation. Can Tessa sort out the matter while still keeping her book tour and good name intact? With the stakes increasing in every subsequent city, Tessa needs to take a quick decision on how to handle this without allowing the Big Bad Thing from her past to become public.
The story comes to us in Tessa's third-person perspective.

My friend and fellow reviewer Srivalli sometimes uses the abbreviation TSTL in her reviews to describe the (usually female) lead character. I always looked at it with a strange longing, because none of the books I read ever had such ridiculous characters that I could use the same descriptor. My turn has finally arrived! 💪🏻😎

Bookish Yays:
✒ Intriguing title, which is used cleverly in the plot as well.

Bookish Mixed Bags:
📖 The book tours. I liked the genuine glimpse of promotional tours from an author's perspective. The need to keep smiling through stupid questions, the uncomfortable interactions with strangers, the polite way of shutting down invasive personal questions, the lack of privacy… quite true to life. But some of the points were just too obnoxious to accept, even accounting for the reason behind them.

📖 The Annabelle voice. I really loved it, but I think it wasn’t utilised to the fullest. There was some amazing potential there to add to the atmosphere.

Bookish Nays:
🚗 Tessa. TSTL all the way. I can't believe she was forty! Not an ounce of common sense in her! There were so many scenes where I felt like shaking her vigorously to use her head better. Just one example: Imagine having your charged phone in your hand and still not recording a strange conversation or clicking a photo of the suspicious person even when they are unable to stop you from doing so!

🚗 How the heck is Tessa carrying a key card from a previous hotel? Isn't everyone supposed to deposit the same at the reception desk during checkout?

🚗 Tessa's husband Henry. It's a match made in heaven, y'all. Because Henry was the perfect Mr. TSTL. He gets away with a lot of rubbish behaviour. I can't believe he wasn’t confronted over some of his decisions!

🚗 The never-ending and repetitious inner monologues. I don't think I've read so much of nonsensical rambling, and this book isn't even in first person!

🚗 The overthinking (bordering on paranoia) of every single action of Henry and some other characters without a single direct open communication from Tessa to sort out the confusion/doubt.

🚗 The action also gets repetitive after a while. How many times can we read about hotel check-ins and surprise packages and shady messages and unexpected objects and offensive tour questions?

🚗 All this ensured that the pacing felt very slow. That %age indicator was just not ticking upwards fast enough!

🚗 The Big Bad Thing – Ugh! Things might be told to you when you were younger and you might even have believed them, not knowing better. But surely common sense should start kicking in somewhere after the mid-thirties? The Big Bad Thing was so utterly stupid that I can't believe Tessa accepted it without question even in her adulthood. Oh right... TSTL. (As you can see, I'm making the most of the opportunity to use this abbreviation. Who knows when I'll get a chance again?!)

🚗 Tessa is some kind of mommy influencer (I wish the blurb had mentioned this; I hate influencer books!), and we see bits of this in the prologue, with the live reel about quitting her corporate job and reclaiming her “one life”, and even during the main story. She seems to have a huge following, with fans being ready for her updates even in the midmorning. But we never learn how she got into it or what exactly she is an influencer of, or even why she felt the need to make a dramatic public announcement about her resignation. Here’s the biggest loophole: Tessa supposedly never reveals any personal information online because she doesn’t want anyone to stumble upon her past. What person wanting such privacy will choose SM influencing as a viable life choice!?!? 🙄

🚗 All standard thriller annoyances: exaggerations galore, coincidences aplenty, miscommunication profuse, deliberate misguiding in the first-person.

🚗 The ending. I couldn't guess the perpetrator. But there’s a valid reason why I couldn’t guess it, and this writing choice always annoys me the most in suspense stories.

I don’t even pick up thriller novels willingly these days because I am so fed up of the exaggerations and the unrealistic characters. But I had heard good things about this author’s writing, so I decided to give her work a try. Is it just my bad luck that whenever I try a popular author, I end up with a dud?

This gets a no from me, but mine is very much an outlier opinion. All my friends have rated this a minimum of four stars. Do read other reviews for a more rounded opinion from people who actually enjoy contemporary thrillers, and then take a call on this work. If you like your characters to have no common sense, you may safely give this a go.

The book starts off as a bit of a slow burn, introducing us to Tessa, an author on a book tour while her husband keeps things running at home. A few chapters in the pace picks up. Something feels off, and it soon becomes clear that Tessa might have a stalker. What makes it even more interesting is how her family seems to be inflicted too.

I really enjoyed the look at an author on tour, it highlighted how tough it must be to be away while life continues at home. When the pace picked up, the story flowed quickly and kept me hooked until the very end.

Great writing, strong characters, and a plot that delivers. Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC!

I'm a longtime fan of Hank Phillippi Ryan, and once again, she absolutely delivers with All This Could Be Yours. From the very first chapter, I was hooked—not because it starts with a bang, but because it simmers with that quiet, creeping tension that only a seasoned master of suspense can pull off. This book is the definition of a slow-burn thriller that rewards patience with jaw-dropping payoff. The premise alone—an author on a glamorous national book tour suddenly realizing someone from her past is watching her, waiting to strike—is already chilling, but the execution? Flawless.

We follow Tessa Calloway, a breakout debut novelist who should be living her dream: packed book events, sold-out crowds, adoring readers. But beneath the surface of all that success is a woman desperately trying to hold her picture-perfect life together while it slowly begins to unravel. Tessa's past, which she’s worked so hard to bury, starts clawing its way back in the most terrifying ways. Notes. Questions. A stalker who seems to know everything. And the worst part? She has no idea who it is—or how far they’re willing to go.

What really impressed me is how seamlessly Ryan blends psychological depth with a classic suspense plot. The emotional stakes are as high as the physical danger, and you can feel Tessa’s fear, guilt, and desperation on every page. There’s also something deeply compelling about watching her grapple with the choices that led her here—choices she believed were behind her, but that now threaten not just her career, but her family, and her life.

I also have to say—my thriller radar is usually pretty sharp, but Hank totally fooled me this time. I had several theories about who the stalker might be, and I was wrong on all counts. That twist hit hard in the best possible way. The misdirection was smart, subtle, and earned. I love when a writer stays steps ahead of me, and Ryan clearly knows the game better than most.

If you enjoy stories where ambition, fame, and secrecy collide in unpredictable, pulse-pounding ways, All This Could Be Yours will not disappoint. It’s an expertly layered mystery that asks how far you’ll go to protect the life you've built—and what happens when the past won’t stay buried.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press / Minotaur Books for the digital reviewer copy of this unputdownable thriller in exchange for my honest thoughts. I’m so grateful for the opportunity—and I can’t wait to see what Hank Phillippi Ryan writes next!

Dread-fueled, tense, and beyond twisty, All This Could Be Yours not only provided a menacing game of cat-and-mouse, but also a lesson in the terrible cost of secrets. After all, there were some doozies within these well-written pages. Deliciously dark and yet also relatively plausible, the long-buried truths and her in-depth background made Tessa into one heck of a believable character. It was the ratcheting fear and foreboding, however, that took this original premise and made it into one that had me holding my breath. You see, as Tessa’s world began to spin out of control, a sinister vibe and an impressive amount of psychological depth meant that some deft Hitchcockian plotting that left me happily scratching my head over and over.

Bringing together an emotionally resonant storyline with a white-knuckle ride of suspense, I was blown away by not only the storyline, but also the characters. From Tessa and her self-doubting ways to her splintering relationship with husband Henry, the taut atmosphere and increasing claustrophobia of life on the road felt as palpable as the rising unease. The best piece of all, though? That ended up being a tie between the enigmatic mysteries from Tessa’s past and the shocking twists towards the end of the novel. Subtle, perceptive, and clever, they delivered just as much realism as much-wanted drama. After all, this plot made me shiver with fear at the mere thought of being a bestselling author.

All said and done, despite a somewhat repetitive middle that only brought the book tour world to life even more, I fell in love with this tale of psychological suspense hook, line, and sinker. From the thought-provoking start to the soul-satisfying conclusion, I couldn’t put this one down and finished it in only twenty-four hours. I mean, I knew before diving in that it was going to be good. Ryan wrote it, after all. What I wasn’t expecting, though, was a plot that would make me tear through the pages as such a high speed. After all, the collision of secrets and fame made for a storyline that was as pulse-pounding as it was poignant. A brilliant combo that kept me on the edge of my seat, it was a masterclass in suspense if I’ve ever seen one. Rating of 4.5 stars.

Another captivating and gripping book by Hank Phillippi Ryan! In All This Could Be Yours, she looks at fame, success, obsession, stalking, and book promotion. I have been a fan of hers for quite some time and always enjoy reading her books. I used to watch Hank Phillippi Ryan on the Boston news as an investigative reporter when I lived in Massachusetts. I attended an author event she participated in with two other authors at the Carlisle public library back in the day! I have been a fan of her books since that time. This was the 9th book of hers that I have read and I look forward to reading her future books!

Tessa Calloway's debut book is inspiring women across the county, and they are coming out in droves to attend her book signings! It's her first book tour and it has taken her away from her family as he visits bookstore after bookstore and answers the questions of her new fans! Things get 'interesting' when she finds a necklace with a locket in a drawer in her hotel room. From there strange things begin to happen and audience member questions begin to make her nervous!

I enjoyed how this book gives readers glimpses into Tessa childhood and teen years while also showing Tessa in the present as a married mom and author. She is dealing with having a new home, being away from her husband and children while someone is proving to an unpleasant blast from her past!

As the book progresses the tension, dread, and unease continue mounting. Tessa is being stalked by someone, but who and why? I thought the author did a great job of showing how Tessa's anxiety was mounting paired with her desire to keep her publisher happy. Hank Phillippi Ryan also depicted how the loneliness of being on the road, the desire to promote her book, while missing her family was affecting Tessa.

Wonderfully written, well thought out, and mysterious!

"Success comes at a cost, but all this could be yours" What a terrifying glimpse into the life of a famous person with a dark past and a stalker knows. Tessa has worked hard for a family and career and now that she has it all someone wants to destroy it. A best selling author on a huge book tour, away from her husband and two children, she experiences excitement, loneliness and fear. The excitement changes... in her hotel room, she finds a locket, then she is rattled by a fan's personal questions about her childhood. A cat and mouse thriller weaving in and out of each page. Who is the stalker creating chaos within? They appear to know every move. Can she outrun her past or is it pay day when she made a deal with the devil?
It was slow at first, but when it kicked in.... it was not a sit back read because I felt my heart racing and was surprised with every twist. It made me think about the rich and famous and the price of fame to keep up a public image while balancing a family. Great job to the author for creating such a stunning story line.

Tess Calloway has turned into an instant bestselling author with her debut book, All This Could Be Yours. She is heading out for her first huge book tour, leaving her husband and two kids at home.

When she starts the tour, fans attempt to ask her personal questions about her hometown and childhood. Tess is a very private person and doesn’t feel comfortable answering them.

As the tour goes on, she is secretly given gifts from unknown fans. Notes are left behind. Clues are given. Is someone out to sabotage the now famous author? And just what exactly is Tess Calloway hiding?

This starts as a slow burn mystery that picks up about 30% in. After that, I was hooked. I couldn’t put it down! This was my first Hank Phillippi Ryan novel and I look forward to reading more of her work. I definitely recommend!

Hank Phillippi Ryan’s latest novel is marketed as a ‘twisty cat and mouse thriller’ and had me desperately turning pages to see how an innocent bookshop signing could lead to such unease, escalating threats and danger. As I got further into the book, I realized that Tessa had made a life-changing bargain and was now dealing with the aftermath. As long buried secrets were unearthed, my pulse quickened and I couldn’t set the book down.

Ryan had me thinking about all the innocent situations in one’s daily life that can be skewed to be seen as sinister if put under a different light. Her spotlight on parasocial relationships was intriguing.

This was my first by this author and I’ve placed her on my watch list!

I was gifted this copy by the publisher through NetGalley and was under no obligation to provide a review.

An author becomes famous, and someone from the past begins to stalk her. As we learn about a few things she previously did, we wonder... are we getting the entire story? A lovely balance of drama and reality, with an added dose of chaos and suspended disbelief. Good writing. I enjoyed the variety of characters and mini-plot twists to throw some confusion into the mix. Ultimately, this is about perception and tolerance. When you worry too much about what someone else thinks, you make questionable decisions. But is fame and money really worth having to curb every part of your personality so that you don't fall as quickly as you rise?

This fictional thriller was not your typical thriller story. It is centered around a woman named Tessa Calloway, who is a debut author. Becoming a famous author has its upsides and drawbacks. Tessa deals with a stalker who is obsessed with her and knows her secrets. What starts off as just a book signing turns into something more sinister. The book really draws you in, in just the first chapter!

It is full of suspense, mystery and is incredibly well plotted. I enjoyed the main character and really felt what she was feeling, while reading this! It gave me anxiety and had me wondering who the stalker was! With twists like these in this book, I was left completely stunned! I recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a cat and mouse thriller, mixed in with some mystery, twists and suspense! Be sure to read the content warnings! I rate this a 4 out of 5 stars!

the setup…
Tessa Calloway is living her dream. After making the decision to quit her job and write a book, she’s now receiving the accolades for that debut novel, All This Could Be Yours. Tessa’s on a dizzying schedule for the book tour, husband Henry holding down the fort in their new home with eleven-year old daughter Linnea and seven-year old son Zack. Yes, it’s a little stressful but she’s managing…until a series of odd things begin happening. Soon it shifts from odd to ominous.

the heart of the story…
When stuff starts to get a little weird, particularly with things showing up and disappearing from her hotel rooms, I thought maybe Tessa might be blowing it all out of proportion. But as events from her past slowly begin to be revealed, I was all on board. That’s when I couldn’t put the book down and was giving so many people in her life the side eye, including Henry and her publishing team.

the narration…
Sarah Mollo-Christensen was pitch perfect as Tessa, let alone everyone else. She found that balance between the professional writer and the terrified parent. I loved everything about her performance.

the bottom line…
First, I have a whole new respect and appreciation for authors on book tours. Tessa’s schedule wore me out. It took a minute for the story to take shape but boy was it worth that time taken to lay the foundation. I had no idea how it would unfold and was almost tempted to take a peek. This was a great listening experience.

Even on vacation, I found myself lost in the off-kilter world of All This Could Be Yours. Hank Phillippi Ryan knows how to make suspense sneak in quietly, then grip you tighter than a hotel door you swear just creaked behind you.

Paranoid, twisty, & unnervingly tense!

From the very first chapter, I could feel something was not quite right, like an uneasy whisper tugging at the edges of the story. My hackles were up immediately, and I loved that sense of creeping dread right away. Paranoia and anxiety are front and centre here, and Hank Phillippi Ryan draws you deep into Tessa’s whirlwind life, where the glamour of success quickly starts to feel off-kilter.

The writing pulled me in with its urgency. The pace was quick and jittery, mirroring Tessa’s spiralling state of mind. I especially enjoyed how the halfway shift jolted everything into sharp focus, giving me that delicious moment of “ah, now it all makes sense” that I always crave in a thriller.

And then there is the shadow of the bad thing, lurking just beneath the surface. You can feel it pressing closer with each chapter, an ominous weight that seems ready to shatter everything. That sense of foreboding kept me engaged and turning the pages right through to the end.

✨ Key thoughts:
🌫️ Tension that builds into full-blown paranoia.
📖 A behind-the-scenes look at success with a sinister edge
😱 Twists that land at just the right moment.
💔 A chilling reminder that every deal has a price.

This was a twisty, suspenseful read that held my interest throughout. If you enjoy thrillers that explore the dark side of ambition and fame while steadily building tension, this one is well worth a spot on your TBR.

I listened to the audiobook for this one and the narration was excellent. I felt like I was inside the anxiety filled head of this debut author as she examined each and every weird thing for coincidence or a more sinister motive. I almost felt like it was too much at times the anxiety was so overwhelming. Tessa has just published her first book with the help of the voice of a girl she once knew that only she hears (it was weird but quite endearing I promise), but while on her debut book tour odd occurrences keep happening and it seems someone is determined to ruin the tour and her whole life. She’s also feeling disconnected from her family who is settling into their new home without her. As Tessa struggles to find out the truth it may change her entire life and depending on how she is able to write this story it may ruin or it may save it. This was a fun read, but it was intense and sometimes difficult to be with Tessa as her anxiety caused her to make assumptions or not think choices through well enough.

4.5 stars!

This one hooked me right from the start! The concept is interesting, the execution sharp, and the tension perfectly balanced—tense enough to keep my heart rate up but never overdone. I loved the cat-and-mouse dynamic between Tessa, a debut author trying to navigate her newfound fame, and the mysterious stalker lurking in the shadows.

Tessa herself was a standout—complex, relatable, and refreshingly not naïve (thank you, Ryan, for giving us a capable protagonist!). The pacing never lets up, and the red herrings are plentiful enough to keep you guessing without ever feeling cheap. The twists land smartly, and the ending ties everything up in a way that feels both satisfying and earned.

Ryan nails the dark side of ambition—that chasing success comes at a price, especially when there are secrets that refuse to stay buried. This is psychological suspense done right: clever, gripping, and impossible to walk away from until the very last page!

She is one of my favourite authors, her books are always so fun and interesting, never a dull moment. I started this as soon as it landed on my phone and I couldn’t get enough of it. I was completely hooked and caught up in Tessa’s story.

This avid reader loves book about authors and books.. what is not to love right. Tessa has hit the big time with her debut novel and is headed across the US on a book tour, leaving her husband and 2 kids at home. It soon becomes apparent that Tessa has something in her past that she wants to forget and keeps her private life very secret. But strange things start happening.. is it a crazed fan or is her past coming back to haunt her?

This was intense! i was scared for Tessa’s safety and her mental health! it is quite dark at times, as we learn about her childhood and past.i loved his the author drew it out so we didn’t know all the details until the very end.

The narrator was a new on for me and she did an excellent job of telling the story and making me feel the tension. Highly recommend the audiobook.

Thanks so much to Macmillan Audio for allowing me to listen to this before its release on September 9th,

Masterful suspense ! The slow burn aspects really paid off here because it allowed the author to really get under your skin with psychological tension so you had a clear understanding of the emotional turmoil the main character was experiencing.

The plot follows a debut author who is thrust into fame and just at the heights she realizes that it’s all about to come crashing down. Someone from her past is stalking and circling her and waiting for the perfect moment to strike with ammunition of deadly secrets!

I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for more from this author!

My only critique is I wish the book cover was giving something, if I hadn’t spotted the author the cover would not have attracted my interest!

Thank you to St Martin’s Press and Minotaur Books for the gifted copy,

She was the loser in a bargain she did not know she’d made.

Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for sending me an ARC of All This Could Be Yours in exchange for an honest review.

Three years ago, Tessa quit her unsatisfying job as a corporate trainer to try to achieve her dream of writing a novel. Now, she’s living her best life. She’s on a national tour celebrating her huge bestseller, a book about a character named Annabelle who makes her own breaks to get what she wants and deserves. In city after city, and through social media, thousands of women shower Tessa with praise and gush about how Annabelle has inspired them to change their one life and dare to go for their dreams. But strange things begin happening to Tessa as she travels—too many specific, personal questions, items appearing and disappearing from her room or suitcase—and Tessa begins to believe that someone is stalking her and planning to reveal a devastating secret from her past. Can she figure out who is after her, and what their plans for her are, before her career and life are destroyed?

All This Could Be Yours was a mixed bag for me. There were some aspects I quite liked. Some were ideas certainly covered elsewhere but still done well here: the exploration of the sometimes scary relationship between writers and their fans, and the sacrifices of privacy made in the pursuit of fame. But I really liked how, throughout the book, the same imagination that allows Tessa to be a successful author leads her to misunderstand certain things because she’s spun an explanation in her mind that turns out to be wrong.

In the end, though, I thought the pacing of All This Could Be Yours was off. The first half of the book ratchets up the tension as everything in Tessa’s life seems to be falling apart at once: just the strange events making her feel stalked, she’s feeling distant from her children, and she suddenly suspects her husband of … she’s not even sure what. But I found it more frustrating than thrilling. There were way too many “I can get to you” messages from the stalker without any real hint of why it was happening. To try to obscure the real danger to Tessa, there seemed to be an unrealistic number of actually innocent but seemingly scary red herrings happening in too short a time. When you finally get a clue about what’s really going on, you will figure it out 50 pages before Tessa (though, I’ll admit, there was at least one key piece I did not figure out). And when you finally learn the villain’s endgame, the book is almost over and the resolution is far too quick. Finally, for a book that talks so much about empowering women, I thought Tessa did surprisingly little to try to stop what was happening, from simply locking her suitcase to telling her publisher about the stalker.

All This Could Be Yours is not a bad book by any means, but I didn’t love it.

All this comes at a cost...

Debut author Tessa Calloway is living the dream: her first novel has become an instant bestseller, her book tour is a whirlwind of adoring fans, and her family just moved into their spacious new home. But Tessa soon suspects that the applause hides a terrifying truth - someone seems to be stalking her, determined to unravel her career, destroy her family, and expose a devastating secret from her past.

"All This Could Be Yours" is a delicious, twisty psychological thriller that had me hooked from the very first page. Though more of a slow burn, the tension simmers on every page. Each stop on Tessa’s tour feels like another stage in a nightmare, while the novel also probes deeper questions about internet fame and public image: how quickly reputations are made, and how easily they can collapse when secrets resurface.

With shades of Stephen King's "Misery" and an anxious, possibly unreliable narrator, author Hank Phillippi Ryan weaves a story that feels both timely and timeless: a novel about ambition, obsession, and the price of fame in an always-connected world.

I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Sarah Mollo-Christensen, whose performance was outstanding, perfectly balancing Tessa’s determination and growing unease.

Juicy, unsettling, and compulsively readable (and listenable), "All This Could be Yours" is a gripping psychological suspense novel that will keep readers guessing - and second-guessing - until the very end.

Many thanks to Macmillan Audio for providing me with the audiobook via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

"All This Could Be Yours" is slated to be released on September 9, 2025.

As I sit here speechless, I was brought to tears in the final words of Author Hank Phillippi Ryan’s new thriller “All This Could Be Yours”.

A page-turner from the beginning! The necklace, Sam’s postcard, the stolen suitcase, the earrings and destroyed chocolates kept me on the edge of my seat wondering “what next”!

A best-selling author on tour with a family at home, shadows, noises and assumptions tore at my core!

It will touch your soul in heartfelt ways! A mother, a best friend, a secret… and the truths of what “All This Could Be Yours” really means.

Thrilling twists in this evocative, suspenseful novel I so highly recommend! I loved it!

Having read several of Ryan's novels I was expecting an excellent thriller and she certainly delivered.

This is the story of a first time author on her first book signing tour.  She is of course being followed by adoring fans many wearing the same color earrings as the protagonist in her novel.  But what Tessa wasn't expecting was a stalker…or perhaps a team working together to stalk her from city to city.

On her book tour she quickly becomes homesick missing her sweet handsome husband as well as her two children who she adores.

Is the money and fame a trade off for a stable family life?  Also, with this stalker in her life is her ideal family in danger?

Ryan wrote an exciting, suspenseful and well developed storyline.  The author will take you along with Tessa on this crazy cat and mouse adventure.

I would certainly be surprised if you can figure out how this book will end and exactly who is involved in trying to ruin her career.

Now let's address character development.  It felt I was inside Tessa's head the entire time.  Although I often did not agree with decisions our protagonist made I still grew to love her and cheer for her.  Even the secondary and background characters were extremely well written.

The only reason I rated this a 4.25  was there were some things that happened in the beginning of the novel for which I had to suspend my belief a bit.  But truly it was just a bit.  Cannot share these couple of circumstances with you as I ahbor spoilers.

I gobbled this book up in two days…what a page turner.

Definitely am suggesting you read this fast moving thriller.

Loved having the opportunity to review this book.  Thanks go out to Hank Phillippi Ryan, her publisher Minotaur Books and NetGalley for making this book available for review.

Talk about Over the Top! All This Could Be Yours is a mystery thriller that requires readers to suspend disbelief. Unfortunately, for me, that’s not my strong suit.

Tessa Calloway is an author, who is on an intense book tour celebrating her own novel “All This Could Be Yours.” What starts out as a whirlwind, turns into a nightmare for Tessa, who is unprepared for the downside of fame.

If you enjoy over the top thoughts and actions, this book is for you.

Thanks to NetGalley for the arc.

Another winner from Hank Philippi Ryan. Pub. 9/9/25 📖🎧

A bestselling author on tour for her new book experiences strange things happening to her and feels like someone is out to sabotage her. As she struggles to maintain composure and continue her tour, she tries to uncover secrets from her past that may lead to her nemesis.

The writing of this is outstanding and I felt like I was on tour with the author. Her character is relatable and sympathetic. This moves at a quick pace and the suspense builds through the entirety. One or two things relating to the ending were a little out there, but nevertheless a fantastic read. For fans of Stacy Willingham and Joy Fielding.

Many thanks to Netgalley, Edelweiss, Minotaur Books and Hank Phillippi Ryan for my complimentary e-book ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

I loved the premise of this - an author with a bestselling debut novel going on a book tour while juggling husband and kids, a recent relocation, a packed tour schedule, and possible stalker(s) trying to dig dirt from her past. Social media and parasocial relationship were strong themes, and I learned a thing or two about behind the scenes of a book tour.

What I didn’t like was the neurotic, overthinking, and paranoid depiction of the main character’s brain. Holy shirt! I felt physically tired from following her thinking process, especially since it was often presented as short, truncated sentences.

That said, the story kept my attention, and I kept flipping the pages towards the end. The twist was excellent although the ending felt somewhat rushed. I enjoyed the book overall and would read the author’s other work. 3.5 stars rounded down to 3.

Many thanks for the ARC I received in a Goodreads giveaway. Expected publication date: September 9, 2025.

All This Could Be Yours is the story of Tessa Calloway, debut best-selling author, as she embarks on her first ever book tour away from her husband and kids. Strange things start happening and Tessa feels she is being persecuted. Objects go missing; objects show up. It’s clear someone is upset with her, and toying with her, but why? A cat and mouse game ensues.

I had major issues with this, and had a hard time connecting with Tessa as a protagonist. She spends six chapters intensely worrying about her daughter throwing up one time, and literally only thinks about her family, and the book’s success. She also hears one of her characters speaking to her regularly, challenging her, and influencing her thoughts. This is a form of schizophrenia. Tessa is mentally ill. 2 stars

A cat-and-mouse novel featuring a woman whose wildest dreams have come true when her debut novel becomes a bestseller. She takes off on a book tour and is surrounded by adoring fans and a few fans who want more from her than she's willing to give. There are secrets from the past, gaslighting, and plenty of anxious moments for Tessa, sensationalist novelist, social media darling, wife, and mom. Readers who enjoy an inside peek at the publishing world will love this one!

Tessa quit her job to stay at home with her two children while pursuing her dream of writing a book. The dream comes true as her debut novel becomes a bestseller, launching her on a whirlwind promotional tour. The tour takes a terrifying turn as she is hiding secrets from her past and realizes she is being stalked by someone out to make sure secrets are revealed, thus destroying her career and her family.

I have read and enjoyed works by this author before, but this one started off slow for me. I thought Tessa’s musings about a found piece of jewelry repetitive and her husband annoying. I couldn’t believe he went out and bought an expensive house for the family without consulting her and continued that disrespect by painting the kitchen an unusual color with no discussion.

As the tension builds, so does Tessa’s paranoia and I found I couldn’t put the book down reading late into the night to find out the resolution. Skillfully plotted, this is an entertaining, engrossing psychological thriller with some surprising twists.

I also want to acknowledge the author’s insightful exploration of the pressures and anxieties inherent in projecting an image in today’s world, exacerbated by the pervasive influence and constant concern surrounding social media.
