I got this amazing opportunity from the author to read this ARC, and wanted to leave my thoughts on it!

I'm going to start off with beyond exceptional.

I fell in love with the FMC right away. an air of mystery and bada**ery from the start.

it left you guessing but intrigued all the way through. I didn't want to take a break at all.

plotline? A++
character chemistry? chefs kiss.

plot twist...I did not see that coming.

I devoured it in a night. yall should definitely give it a read. it's worth it. I'll be on the lookout for her next book ✨️💙

This book was only original in its take on Angels/Demons/Nephilim other than that it was stereotypical in its approach to characters. Like a lot of books the strong FMC was reduced to a submissive piece of property to be 'owned by' the MMC. Speaking of the MMC, stereotypical alpha male misogynistic red flags everywhere, There were too many POVs and far too much internal dialogue going on that made the story drag. There are quite a few correctly spelled words that are incorrect, meaning that the word passed spell check but it is not the word that should have been there, for example the word shed when it should have been she'd. I'm not sure why the author choose to use the word buttock when describing every characters butt, it's a term used mainly for animal description in this day and age, as a fellow midwesterner, referring to one's butt this way came across as bizarre. Every plot twist this book tried to throw was easy to see coming, I was not surprised once. Also, as a woman, I was greatly offended by the repeated references to Stockholm Syndrome. This was created by a man observing a single woman's behavior as she cooperated with a man pointing a weapon at her in an attempt to stay alive. This 'expert' man decided that because she was cooperating that she was in love with her captor. This theory has never been proven but became mainstream because it allows the blame to be taken off the instigator and not the victim. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I'm gonna admit that I wasn't sure about this book at first. I read the prequel and loved that, but had trouble getting into this and I'm not sure why. Boy Am I Glad I Kept Reading! It did start off slow, but once the action started, it didn't stop. Marco and Dee's love story was tragically beautiful, and gloriously heart-breaking to witness. Beware...this book does end on a massive cliffhanger. I also wasn't sure about the multiple POVs, but it ended up being really great to follow along with more than one MC duo, as well as the 'bad guys'. I highly recommend if you're looking for a great story that will continue on into the next book(s)!

If you love fated mates, read this book!
If you love cliffhangers that'll break your heart and burrow into your brain, read this book!
If you love strong FMCs that's warriors in their own right, read this book!
If you love strong MMCs with touch-her-and-die vibes that trust their FMC to take care of themselves, read this book!
If you love to follow along with multiple romance lines, read this book!
If you love multiple POVs that keep the story moving along, read this book!

I cannot wait to see more of Marco and Dee, and also Claire and Seung as well! When does book 2 come out?

This book pulls you in fast and keeps the tension high throughout. I really loved the way the story blended dark paranormal elements with strong romantic chemistry without losing the suspense. Marco and Devin both carry so much emotional weight, and that history of repeated loss between them gives the relationship real depth instead of making it feel like instant attraction.

Marco especially stood out to me because he isn’t just the tortured protector archetype. There’s real conflict in him, and that half-fallen angel side adds a dangerous edge that keeps his character interesting. As a writing coach, it's exactly what I try to teach my clients to do. It's a hard balance to find when developing characters.

Devin also works well as a heroine because she’s not passive at all. She starts with a clear purpose and strength of her own, which makes the dynamic between them more compelling.

The reincarnation angle adds a lot of emotional pull, and the idea that he has lost her over and over again gives the story that tragic urgency that makes you want to keep reading. It's actually a favorite trope of mine, and I like the way the author approached it, compared to what we see in the Fallen series.

Lifetimes of Longing and High Stakes: A Relatable, High-Octane Romantasy
This paranormal romantasy is a gripping exploration of a love that transcends time and tragedy. Ines Gray introduces us to Dee, a strong half-Latina protagonist whose maturity and skills as a US Marshall make her an instantly likable and refreshing lead. Her dynamic with Marco is a highlight of the book, blending protective "touch-her-and-die" energy with a profound soul-mate connection that has endured for centuries.
Although the story utilizes multiple points of view to track various romance lines and the movements of the antagonists, the core focus remains on the undeniable chemistry between the two leads. The lore of the Watchers and the looming threat of the Rogues provide a solid foundation for the plot, ensuring the mystery is just as engaging as the romance. While the ending leaves the reader on a significant cliffhanger, the quality of the world-building and the depth of the characters ensure that you will be reaching for the sequel the moment it is released. Highly recommended for readers who enjoy mature leads and high-stakes fated mates.

Congrats to the author on her debut! This book was awesome! I love the chemistry between Dee and Marco and love that she is a 30 year old character and half Latina! I'm glad to be finally be reading about a grown woman character because I'm also a 30 something (badass) woman! Dee was likeable and badass and Marco is definitely on my list of never ending book boos/husbands! I loved when he said, "In every life, wherever you are, I will always find you…" *SWOON/ double heart emoji!!* It gave me chiiiilllsss! Now if a man could tell me that in real life…*sigh*

I liked learning about the Watchers, their talents and their history and the Rogues, especially the Ohra, and the Nephesh Ohra. So romantic....

Anyway, I would've liked/ given it 5 starts if the book was written from Dee/ Marco's dual first person POV, or multi pov to include Seung/Claire's pov which seem to be the trend nowadays, but overall this spicy paranormal romantasy was soo good!

Loyal reader/ fan here! There better be another book!!!!

Ines Gray created a story that you just wanted to fall into. From the very beginning you are drawn in trying to figure out what Dee is seeking revenge for. She is a US Marshall and is a very strong FMC. Marco is the MMC with the touch her and die vibes. The love over lifetimes is soooo good in this book and you feel it from Marco so strongly. Having to love and lose Dee five times has impacted him deeply. And goodness you could feel the chemistry on the pages!

There is mystery because you know someone is after her, well really them but you are not totally sure why or when. I also thoroughly enjoyed Claire, she is a character in of herself and I really hope she is part of the next book and maybe even a possible love interest because you kind of get the feeling that something is there with Seung! You also end up really wanting to know more about the watchers and what is going to happen next. The ending will leave you craving the next book, and I really cannot wait!

This book was such an interesting one WOWW. This was one of those reads where I could not figure out where anything was going at any point and I LOVED that. From page one I was sucked in and each chapter brought more and more questions that I was DYINGGG to figure out.

This is a paranormal romance with some fantasy vibes sprinkled in with a MASSIVE mystery sub plot that keeps everything so interesting. I honestly really enjoyed this read and felt like a little sleuth the whole time trying to figure out what was going on.

I loved these characters. They have so much personality and their storylines were so unique that I was thoroughly flabbergasted with each new piece of information we got into them and their backstories.

Def recommend for anyone looking to branch out a bit on their regular fantasy paranormal type with a fresh and unique new story !!!

Phenomenal! Ines Gray has outdone herself once again with her paranormal romance novel. As a fan, she has definitely delivered.
Instantly hooked, I was completely absorbed. The female lead Devin (Dee) is a Deputy US Marshal who is complex, enigmatic, and fierce
(kick a** and take no names). As a half-human, half-fallen angel, Marco embodies the morally gray hero, possessing a sinfully irresistible charm and unyielding resolve.
Together as they battle their own fates, their entanglement is expertly woven, with a mysterious atmosphere that draws you in. I was so captivated that I forgot about everything else. It’s deeply intricate and easy to follow, the character chemistry is undeniably epic while the plot twist is so unexpected and thrilling.
I read this entire book on my night shift! I highly recommend for any lover of this genre and I’m chopping at the bit for the next book.

I was genuinely impressed by how skillfully this author wove together two distinct love stories, each with its own emotional gravity, and I was captivated by all four characters’ storylines.

First, there's Marco and Devin. Marco has watched his soulmate die five times—and the last time nearly broke him. Now, they're facing one final chance at a happily ever after. But with danger closing in from every side, can they hold onto each other long enough to claim it?
Second, we meet Claire and Seung. When Marco assigns his fellow watcher to guard Claire—Devin’s best friend—neither of them expects sparks to fly. But as they race to help their friends, their unexpected bond may be the only thing keeping them alive.

Truly, this was a very well written story, and I love that we get twice the romance, twice the steam, and twice the action.
I’m so grateful to have received this eARC and I can’t wait for the next book.

I first got caught by the cover, which features Devin and totally reminded me of Angelina Jolie, lol. But after reading the description, I just had to get the book! I loved the concept of the time recursion, where both Devin and Marco try to break the cycle in this life, it reminded me of games like Deathloop and movies like Groundhog Day or Edge of Tomorrow.

The human characters are good, but I’m in love with Wolf, Devin’s dog. The story is great, and I love how Devin slowly remembers different parts of her past lives while the plot develops around trying to break the loop and avoid repeating the same mistakes. I wouldn’t even rule out a new time loop in future books to finally unite both characters. That said, I can’t wait for the next book to learn more, hopefully, they’ll both get their well-deserved rest and be happy together.

It took me quite some time to get through this one. I think it was because it was just okay. I didn't hate it, but I probably wouldn't say it was very entertaining. I didn't particularly hate or love any of the main characters, and that to me is a bit of a death knell.

I wanted to like it because I did think that the premise of it could have been great. But what started as a strong story quickly evolved into our strong female character turning into a submissive who could only think about sex.

At 70% and there still was nothing happening outside of more sex. I'm a bit surprised I managed to finish it. Would I recommend it? It wasn't bad, and I do think many people would like it. It just wasn't suspenseful enough to keep me interested.

I had the pleasure of being an ARC reader for Ines Grey! This book was a world-building fantasy romance that made you feel like you were just missing your protector! However, I think mine gave up on saving me; that is not true for the love and true care in the main character's story.

This book made me not only fall in love with the hope of their triumph but also with who the characters were as individuals. I am a sucker for good banter and let me tell you i giggled a couple of times out loud due to some of the thoughts.

Overall, this is a great fantasy read, and if you are looking to dip your toe into a different world that's parallel with ours, this should be your next read.

Angel Redeemed combines supernatural romance with a sense of tragic destiny that keeps you turning the pages. The story follows Devin, a determined U.S. Marshal consumed by vengeance, and Marco, the half-fallen angel bound to protect her through countless lifetimes. Their connection feels intense and fated, drawing both of them toward redemption and danger in equal measure.
The writing blends mythology, romance, and suspense in a way that feels cinematic and emotionally charged. It’s a dark and compelling journey about love, sacrifice, and the fight against forces that seem impossible to escape.

Romance, love, passion, fantasy, vampires, warriors, hunters, witches, this book has everything. From the first chapters, it pulls you into a world full of intensity and supernatural intrigue. The mix of danger, emotion, and desire makes it impossible to stop reading once you start.

What I enjoyed most is how well everything is balanced: the relationships feel dramatic and powerful, the action scenes are gripping, and the magical elements add depth to the story. Every character brings something unique, whether it's strength, mystery, or emotional vulnerability, and together, they create a universe that feels alive.

Angel Redeemed hooked me from the first page. This paranormal romance book is well-written, compelling, action-packed, and hot as hell. It has everything I want in a romance read!

Marco is the best kind of morally gray hero—hot as sin and willing to do anything for his woman. And Dee is a heroine I connected with from the start. Smart, strong, and no man's pushover.

I simultaneously couldn't stop reading while dreading "the end" because I didn't want it to be over. I can't wait for the next in the series!

While it started off slow for me, around chapter 10 I just got enveloped by the story and the world building. This urban fantasy has major ancient history and mythology involved, and I am totally here for it.

It is heavily plot driven, but the character development flows incredibly well with the story. I really enjoyed this start to a new world. Regeneration, soul mates (soul lights), different realms, demigods… I can't wait to see where it goes in the next book.

A Love That Defies Heaven and Hell
What I like about this book is that it blends passion, destiny, and danger into a story that feels both thrilling and deeply emotional. The reincarnation theme gives it a sense of eternal love and unfinished purpose, while the chemistry between Devin and Marco feels raw and fated. What really stands out is how it balances action and heart where you’re pulled into a dark world of angels and demons, yet it’s the ache of love, redemption, and second chances that stays with you long after the last page.

Cannot wait until book 2 comes out. This was such a great story line. So different from what I normally read. But I am going to stalk you for any of your next books. This book is about love and how through the centuries that it follows specific people who find each other over and over. This one is about Devin and Marco. Marco must find her everytime she passes. But amybe this time will be different. With the relic maybe she will be here forever!!!!!!

Devin is a compelling character and the story is well told. I thought it started slowly, but once I was in, I was invested. Central to the plot is the idea of soulmates reborn over lifetimes and that made for a lot of food to muse over. The storytelling blends action, romance, and mythic intrigue, so it's good for you if you enjoy emotionally intense romance within richly imagined fantastical worlds.

The paranormal romance in the book " Angel Redeemed" really hit my emotions without losing any of the adrenaline. The book became a very memorable read to me. The writer has been successful with the writing of story something deeper compared to the usual "angel meets warrior" setup. Devin and Marco are well written characters, and I especially liked Devin’s resilience and independence. The angelic lore and paranormal elements development is too impressive, I can say.

I just finished this book. My heart is still racing a bit. It’s this intense story about a woman seeking revenge and the mysterious protector who has watched her die across many lifetimes. The chemistry between them? It’s electric. You really feel for him as he struggles with his own dark side while trying to save her one last time. It’s a fast-paced, spicy ride that kept me up way too late. Definitely a must-read for paranormal fans.

There’s a great mix of action, emotion, and paranormal tension here. Devin and Marco’s dynamic pulled me in right away, their history, the curse, the protector-turned-tormented-guardian vibe… it’s all really compelling. I also loved the worldbuilding and how the story balances danger with chemistry. It’s the kind of paranormal romance that keeps you invested in both the plot and the couple.

This rare dive into paranormal romance was educational and somewhat surprisingly enjoyable. As a writer I could see some of the choices made in order to please readers. Having a supportive and dedicated male counterpart to Dee was refreshing, compared to other romances where characters feed off of toxic behavior.

An intense novel that blends paranormal romance, action, and fate. The story moves quickly and keeps you engaged with a strong mix of danger, emotional tension, and chemistry between the main characters. I liked the reincarnation angle and the protector’s inner conflict, which adds depth beyond the romance. A good pick for readers who enjoy dark, passionate stories.

This is the first book in the Watchers and Warriors series. A paranormal romantasy that will captivate you, immerse you and have you needing to know the outcome. The storyline is one that is unique and intriguing, it had me so engrossed I didn’t want to put the book down. The mystery and chemistry between Devin and Marco is oh so good and the steam is hot! The pace of the plot is perfect and suspenseful. The writing in such detail you feel you are watching everything unfold and are rooting for Devin and Marco to fulfill their destiny. And yet, the plot twist?!? Woah, I did not see that coming! This is a series I will definitely be continuing! So ready for the next book! This is one you will want to add to your TBR!
