Bluebird: Deliberate Creation of Multiple Personality by Psychiatrists

Rate this book
The C.I.A. Doctors provides proof based on 15,000 pages of documents obtained from the CIA through the Freedom of Information Act that there have been pervasive, systematic violations of human rights by American psychiatrists over the last 65 years. Author Dr. Colin Ross proves that the Manchurian Candidate superspy is fact, not fiction. Experiments conducted by psychiatrists to create amnesia, new identities, hypnotic access codes and new memories in the minds of experimental subjects are described from the doctors' own publications. The C.I.A. Doctors proves extensive violations of human rights funded by the CIA and the military and conducted by American psychiatrists in North America, perpetrated not by a few renegade doctors, but by leading psychiatrists, psychologists, pharmacologists, neurosurgeons and medical schools.

This was previously published as "BLUEBIRD: Deliberate Creation of Multiple Personality by Psychiatrists." BLUEBIRD was the code name for the top-secret experiments in mind control by the US military. This branched into projects ARTICHOKE, MKULTRA, and others from the end of WWII to, well, probably still on-going. Think Manchurian Candidates being made from unwitting civilians and LSD experiments on young children without informed consent, all prohibited by the Nuremberg Code, and all paid for with tax money. I'll post a complete review when I'm done reading, but so far this is really, really disturbing.

This is a pretty dry read (the only reason it gets only four instead of five stars), but the author presents his case using only documented fact. It's time to wake up folks. Some of the things we'd like to believe are just conspiracy theories are all too real.

Very informative. He is way too apologetic to the evil organization that is the CIA. I think he just doesn't want to get on their bad side. He basically summarizes all he's learned from the released documents.

Makes me wonder what they are up to now. Very interesting case histories.

Interesting how some of the leading universities and medical schools in US, same as leading psychologists, psychiatrists and scientists collaborated together on creation of Manchurian Candidate. Psychological, same as biological and chemical testing on inmates, mentally deranged and general population AND animals. I must say i feel sorry for the most of the innocent animals tortured in human insanity. The brain and mind study continues unabated no doubt - and all done in secrecy all paid by US taxpayer.

Fascinating book to read if you want to know the truth of what's going on in America and where that science is going (hint: control of general population, and using you as human livestock).

finished this one this morning. as the book description says and then some. reminded of that quote from pynchon...mason & dixon if i recall correctly, and this is a paraphrase, some believe that science can do anything; others are afraid that it will.

certainly, there is much more information, information that is unavailable to the public, national security and so forth and so on and scoobie doobie doo doo. i've lived long enough that the cynic in me says, yeah, typical, not surprised. much of the content is told in a journalistic and dry style, just the facts ma'am. much of the content describes individual cases, sirhan sirhan, mark david chapman, patty hearst, candy something, one or three others.

the fabled manchurian candidate and ross details work toward that end here, makes a convincing case. too, there's much here about the use of lsd by the scientific community, how that was all the rage, before it fell out of favor for new toys and gadgets.

but, yeah...science. we kill how many millions a year in the abortion clinic and we call that good. so many billions walking the planet...there are some bad apples here and there. or everywhere. the many described here, all well-known, well-to-do, yet willing to look the other way, for whatever their reasons...motivation isn't investigated as much, although "in the interests of national security" covers much of it.

i doubt anything is going to change. the overall tone of this is reflected and echoed in another book with the same message, the title escapes me, something about bioethics today. Culture of Death: The Assault on Medical Ethics in America we never get off the playground. happy campers, one and all.

The author claims early in the book that if the founder of the CIA, sleazebag William Donovan, had been in charge of U.S. Foreign Policy in the late 1940s, that the Vietnam War never would’ve happened.

How do you write a book on the CIA and not acknowledge their covert actions in Vietnam, which were permitted by President John Kennedy? Oh, because this isn’t a real book, it’s controlled opposition.

I can’t believe any author would have access to 15,000 declassified CIA documents and still manage to write a vanity piece on this shitty organization.

Very Well Put

This book is very informative on the covert practices of psychiatrists. I’d recommend this book to other Targeted Individuals or psychiatrists who suffer cognitive dissonance.

Silent weapons' of war equals Social Engineering! Mixed with Heroin, it necessarily enhances the Hegelian Dialectic

I most strongly recommend this outstanding wealth of information in order to positively ID specific persons or elements of the American medical establishment directly responsible for the abuse of other humans. Research into SCAD most strongly recommended with this publication. (jmd 1/10/2015)

I like the information this author has to offer even though a major piece of the puzzle is left in the closet, as exampled by author's initial comments noting the apperception for William Donovan and the beginnings of the OSS. The Doctor points out that it would be impossible to publish this kind of work in Russia if it hadn't been for the efforts of the CIA wining the Cold War, which is not reasonable to argue looking at this from his point of view. His story is similar to what I've read in a different publication I recommend:

Political Ponerology (A Science on the Nature of Evil Adjusted for Political Purposes)

Although I appreciate the author's perspective, as exampled by the outstanding observation regarding the relationship between France & Vietnam, including the support for Ho Chi Minh by Chase Manhattan Bank all while pointing out the OSS trained 200 elite troops of Ho Chi Minh's army...that should have eventually resulted in free, non-Communist society after WWII all supported by Donovan as justification on why the Doctor is not a critic of the initial foundation/creation of the OSS/CIA, regretfully disappointing because there's no reference to the other French Connection as noted by Professor Alfred W. McCoy.

Additional information regarding William Donovan can be found in Scott, Peter Dale publication, American War Machine: Deep Politics, the CIA Global Drug Connection, and the Road to Afghanistan (War and Peace Library) Rowman & Littlefield Publishers. Kindle Edition.

This specific diminution regarding the Golden Triangle is disturbingly absent throughout the whole publication. Additionally, the scope of Dr. Ross initial observations failed to point out OSS's creation was via the master British social engineering think tank Tavistock Institute, nor is there any details regarding Abraham, Simon, and Bernard Flexner sponsorship by the Rockefeller cartel that would eventually influence medical education/research away "from physiology towards pharmacology' in the early part of American history...disappointing, [but] recoverable, regarding the limited view this work presents because it IS an outstanding publication and a major part of my personal education and I most strongly recommend this.

For additional details regarding this expansive but mandatory aspect regarding the historical back ground of the CIA, the medical industry, drugs and social control, Georgetown Professor Carroll Quigley, Dr. Nancy Turner Banks, Robert Kirkconnell, Servando Gonzalez and McCoy are some of the most important authors I might use to gauge other books. If nothing else, one should observe the timing of the returning troops from Nam, all while Nixon's War on Drugs started the opening salvo against the American population requires detailed effort to recognize the relationship, including CIA's covert influence of USAID.

Tragedy & Hope: A History of the World in Our Time
AIDS, Opium, Diamonds, and Empire
American Heart of Darkness: Volume I:The Transformation of the American Republic into a Pathocracy
Psychological Warfare and the New World Order: The Secret War Against the American People
The Politics of Heroin: CIA Complicity in the Global Drug Trade
JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters

Just some of passages noted below on why I like this book and why I am recommending it, even though a critical part regarding the controlling factor (regarding the world wide drug operation and the CIA connection) is not discussed:

"The major goal of the Cold War mind control programs was to create dissociative symptoms and disorders, including full multiple personality disorder. The Manchurian Candidate66 is fact, not fiction, and was created by the CIA in the 1950's under BLUEBIRD and ARTICHOKE mind control programs. Experiments with LSD, sensory deprivation, electro-convulsive treatment, brain electrode implants and hypnosis were designed to create amnesia, depersonalization, changes in identity and altered states of consciousness. One purpose of The CIA Doctors: Human Rights Violations by American Psychiatrists is to prove that the creation of controlled dissociation was a major goal of mind control research. Other authors, who are not specialists in dissociation255-258, have failed to understand this fact. Multiple personality disorder is now classified by the American Psychiatric Association12 as dissociative identity disorder."

"The main purposes of this book are:
1. To document extensive human rights violations by American psychiatrists over the last 70 years.
2. To prove that these violations were pervasive, systematic and involved leading psychiatrists and medical schools.
3. To counter claims that the violations happened in an earlier time with different ethical standards - they violated the Hippocratic Oath and the Nuremberg Code.
4. To call for a systematic review of these violations by government and the profession of psychiatry."

"My focus in The CIA Doctors: Human Rights Violations by American Psychiatrists is on psychiatry and the dissociative disorders. My intent is to prove that the Manchurian Candidate is real, and to set the Manchurian Candidate programs in a historical and clinical context. The CIA Doctors documents extensive human rights violations by psychiatrists in North America in the second half of the twentieth century. Many thousands of prisoners and mental patients were subjected to unethical mind control experiments by leading psychiatrists and medical schools. Organized academic psychiatry has never acknowledged this history. The network of mind control doctors involved in BLUEBIRD, ARTICHOKE, MKULTRA and other mind control programs has done a great deal of harm to the field of psychiatry and to psychiatric patients. My goal is to break the ugly silence."

Additional publications (including previously noted) I recommend to enhance this exceptional work by Dr.Colin A. Ross.

A History of Modern Psychology
Project MKULTRA, the CIA's program of research in behavioral modification: Joint hearing before the Select Committee on Intelligence and the ... Congress, first session, August 3, 1977
A Secret Order: Investigating the High Strangeness and Synchronicity in the JFK Assassination

Edited: One of the key elements I learned from this publication is noted below:

Paranormal experiments under STARGATE continued until 1984, and Army doctors were actively involved in LSD testing at least until the late 1970's. Still-classified CIA mind control programs were operational at least into the early 1970's. Subjects of LSD experiments included children as young as five years old, and brain electrodes were implanted in children as young as eleven years of age. Four of the CIA's MKULTRA Subprojects were on children, a fact that has not been publicly documented before.

The CIA's MKULTRA and related projects have received so much publicity and attention by now that literature on the subject abounds, but this is the first and only book to my knowledge that approaches the issue from a mental health perspective, focusing on the doctors who actually carried out these experiments and calling them out for their unethical and grievously harmful actions. None of these people have ever apologized or owned up to their involvement in the projects.. in fact we still don't know who many of them were because much information remains classified. Colin Ross is a psychiatrist himself–quite a brilliant one–and he brings his expertise to bear on the subject, while calling those doctors and institutions that have been officially named to task for the crucial parts they played in this nefarious research. These people violated the Hippocratic Oath they took and ruined many lives for selfish reasons of personal gain, or to satisfy their own sick perversions, and it's just as important for people to hear this side of the story as it is to focus on the CIA itself. A much needed work that was long overdue! Meticulously researched, extremely interesting and skillfully written.. A winner all around.

I'm confirming that this kind of torture and experimentation does happen still in the US. I'm one of them.
After eading some excerpts from this book, I can share that the experimentation that takes places on many targeted peoples is in the form of highly sophisticated technology that is still classified.
It's heinous and real.
Targets are discredited in Any way possible, their lives destroyed, slandered, assets seized.
If you know of this taking place -- Do the right thing. Help them.

Formerly titled Bluebird, this work is a relatively short yet rather concise and thorough history and documentation of MKULTRA, it's subprojects and predecessors, with reprinted declassified documents included and accounts of some of the practitioners and victims, heavily relying on the small amount of documentation that survived the ordered destruction of evidence and the subsequent Congressional hearings on the matters, disclosing the paper trails and CIA funding conduits, as well as connections to Scottish Rite Freemasonry (who sponsored many conferences on the subject of "behavior modification"), and the fraudulent nature of the False Memory Syndrome Foundation, whom, among its ranks, can be found mind control and ritualistic abusers and pedophiles, having been created specifically to discredit those who may have recovered memories of mind control and ritualistic abuse. A must read for anyone wanting hard evidence of such programs being sponsored and/or created by doctors and our own government "for the People." Unfortunately, "they," in this case, are the "People," and we are just a herd that they must keep tame and controlled.

Lots in here to recommend, though I found the presentation a bit scattered. A sturdy rung on the mind control ladder nonetheless.
