Colorful, humorous sci-fi (heavy on the fi) for the chapter book set. Ricky Ricotta is a mouse and his best friend is a mighty robot. In this episode, Ricky is visiting the museum for his birthday outing (Ricky's Robot flew the family there, of course) when they realize the heads are missing from some of the dinosaur skeletons. Where have the heads gone? Why is Jupiter orange? What does evil plan has General Jackrabbit (from Jupiter) got in mind for getting rid of Ricky's Robot? Read all about it with comic book panels, superhero action, and Flip-O-Rama. I loved these books when they were originally in black & white. The new color versions are out of this world.

It's June, and it's Ricky Ricotta's birthday today. He and his parents and his robot are going to the museum to see dinosaurs. His pesky cousin Lucy is joining them. But that's not the biggest issue. General Jackrabbit on the planet Jupiter has an evil plan to take over the galaxy beginning with Earth. Ricky and his Robot must take action to stop General Jackrabbit and his evil plans. We kind of enjoyed the fusion of rabbits and dinosaurs. Plot is pretty much the same from book to book. My nephew's level of enjoyment seems to hinge on how much physicality each book contains. This was more brain than brawn.

What a great book for boys who love robots and superheroes! The chapters are quick, we read 7 each night and finished it in 2 nights. It's great for a beginning reader as the text is a little larger and the words are not too difficult but the action makes it irresistible!

First of all, I want to point out that. I really like this type of content. Boating, yachting, sailing, fishing and anything that falls under the concept of a marina.

I leave this information below for those who want to read it. A look at Boat and Yacht History:

the ships we encounter today are; They are large, robust and self-propelled watercraft used to transport cargo across the seas and oceans. This was not the case hundreds of years ago, and current ships went through countless centuries of development until they became what they are today.

In ancient times, sailors used rafts, bamboo logs, reed bales, inflated animal hides, and baskets covered with pitch to cross small bodies of water.

As a matter of fact, the first boat; it was in the form of a simple frame made of interconnected rods and sewn animal hides that skillfully covered them. These boats could easily carry large and heavy loads. Information about similar old boat examples; You can find it among bull boats, Eskimo canoes, and British Islander merchant ships on the North American plains. In addition to these, another old-style boat is the one carved from the log and the ends of which are sharpened. Some of these were 60 feet (approx. 18 m) long.

When we look at the history of seafaring in ancient times, we come across a very interesting study of human strength and survival instincts. For example, in ancient times, the simple shovel mechanism we know was not used. Instead, people used their hands to move through the water in tiny boats. They propelled their rafts forward, pushing the masts to the bottom of the rivers. Increasingly, using his creative instincts and ingenuity, man redesigned the posts by straightening them and widening one end, thus making it usable in deeper waters. Later, this form was masterfully redeveloped and the blade fixed to the sides of the boat was transformed into the shape of a wide oar.

Invention of the sail
The invention of the sail was the greatest turning point in maritime history. Sails replaced human muscle movements, and sailboats were able to travel longer with heavier loads. The first ships used square sails, which were best suited to sail downwind. Side sails were invented later.

The Egyptians credit the emergence of advanced sailing cargo ships. These were made by connecting and stitching together small pieces of wood. These cargo ships were used to transport large stone pillars used in the construction of monuments.

Miss 3 loves Captain Underpants and now we've worked our way through almost all of Dav Pilkey's Ricky Ricotta books as well. They haven't captured her at the same level of sparkly LOVE as C. U. but she enjoys them enough to re-read them the following week. Although our library has these at the same reading level as C.U. they are much shorter and quicker to read. They're also more positive in general and a good entry for younger kids. As a parent, I love how the series works its way through the solar system and has little facts about each planet! Also, how the local jail slowly fills up with each arch-villain!

#5 Jupiter: We liked Lucy getting added. Plus the shift to a non-fighting resolution and now super-small super-cute Jurassic Jackrabbits becoming pets.

I kind of like this amazing 🤩 book 📕,the bad thing is that if mighty robot can toss the spaceship into space than why don’t the mighty robot toss the dinosaurs 🦕 jackrabbits into space and why don’t jackrabbit get more rabbits to fight mighty robot,also,Ricky said at the end it was the best day ever but what about the bad things that happened?the good 👍and funny 😆 thing is that Ricky said it’s going to be the best day ever and then Ricky’s parents said that Lucy the pest is coming and then Ricky said it’s going to be the worst day ever,but then at last he said it’s the best day ever.my favorite sentence is no problem 😉 that’s what friends are for(is to help each other when needed and make them feel better 😘 so i am going to rate it 4 stars ⭐️ because there are some bad things in there.

This book had my children in gales of laughter. It's got it all: robots, bunnies turned into jurassic-bunnies out to destroy the planet, lines like "first came the electro-reflecto ejector protector" and a hilarious mouse character named Lucy who asks silly questions incessantly. The colorful illustrations by Santat are full of action and humorous details. The graphic novel format used intermittently is great for young readers, and the "flip-o-rama" interactive sections that allow the reader to animate two picture frames at a time is lots of fun. You can't go wrong with Pilkey & Santat for engaging young readers.

I like it because the Mighty Robot he saved the family and they brought him to the museum. The heads were off the dinosaurs and were not there. They put them in a potion and they made the real dinosaurs. My favorite part was when Mighty Robot flew them to the museum. I would tell Grandma to read this because she would like it.

My kids liked the Mighty Robot series, which is a bit violent but at least the violence is primarily directed at robots and monsters, but I was disappointed that the first book in the series that had a female character (other than the mother) featured a scene in which the girl mouse was sexualixed. "Hubba hubba," Really? Won't be continuing this series.

I like the book because of how they tricked the Robo-rabbits by putting the gum as teeth and the mittens as the tail and the scarf as the ears. Then the rabbits fall in love and Rickey goes to the meany machiny and turned the Jurassic rabbits to cute,nice bunnies.

My 6 yr old loves these books but wasn't pleased to find they changed the original artist. Otherwise, the story is the same in each one (give or take) but it's entertaining enough and it makes him excited to read so I'm all for that.

Another supervillain from another planet sets his sights on the giant robot without a name. This book is improved by the addition of Ricky's cousin Lucy, who Ricky thinks is a pest but who helps out on the adventure.

Read the Dan Santat version this time. Always fantastic art.
