The mission isn’t over. It’s just getting started!

Just when Bear and Sprinkles thought they had this whole space chicken thing figured out—BOOM. Nugget’s bracelet starts glowing in a strange new way. Turns out, it means one a new mission. And this time, it involves another chicken. Somewhere. Nearby.

But tracking down the next chicken-human team is harder than it sounds. Sprinkles is totally convinced it’s the new kid, Palm Tree. Bear isn’t so sure—especially when Nugget keeps glowing at the weirdest times.

As clues stack up—and chickens start teleporting where they definitely shouldn’t—Bear has to stay calm, dodge chaos, and not totally lose it when Strawberry shows up.

Get ready for science fair disasters, blueberry theft, slime distractions, and one huge reveal that changes everything.

Can Bear and Sprinkles complete the next challenge before things go completely crazy?

‘A place called Chickzonia’ – more laughs and entertainment!

Diane Alber teams with Ryan Thomas to continue their now 4 volume PURPLE SPACE CHICKENS series, books that focus on both art and imagination. The characters (both human and animal) multiply as the series expands, and to update readers new to this series, the authors open with the following insight from Bear: ‘There’s a purple chicken from outer space sleeping in my sock drawer right now. And no, I’m not kidding. Her name is Nugget. I found her in my blueberry garden a few weeks ago. She’s the size of a tennis ball,…She wears a tiny helmet…She can teleport me and my sister (Sprinkles) to random places…’ And with that format the story sails forth with an amazingly entertaining and creative plot. There are many attributes to this series intended for grade school kids – one fine chapter book stories that hopefully will continue!
