This story takes place in the current time but has a unique twist. Seven best friends reunite ten years after leaving college. This takes place in the high Sierra mountains in California. After their arrival the snow starts and they cannot leave. The hostess has accomodations and supplies for all during their forced stay. To help pass the time each is asked to relate a story of their ancestors. Their stories are based on research they did on the ir ancestors in the 1800s. This was a good read with a ending twist.
