“A hilarious small town murder mystery that Janet Evanovich fans should flock to.” –Sublime Book Reviews
Nobody at the nursing home takes old Amy Tapin seriously when she brags about her summer frolics with Albert Einstein. Sure, it's well known the great smarty pants used to vacation on these Adirondack lakes. But that was long, long ago. And now Amy is unwell. The poor dear is liable to say anything.
But when Amy goes missing, ex-cop/ blues musician Norris Tanager takes a closer look at those crazy stories. What he finds is murder, blackmail, tales of a mystery violin, a gorgeous female mathematician, and a league of backwoods intellectuals who soon have Tanager wondering if having big brains is truly an asset or just an easy way to explain a bad haircut.
Norris Tanager, star of the Amazon bestseller, Blues of Autumn, is back on the job, and everybody is thrilled about it. Everybody, that is, except Tanager.
Witty, sassy, sometimes convoluted and lots of fun
Entertaining as hell, written in a witty and sassy though sometimes chauvinistic voice, occasionally convoluted—which is all part of the fun. You can’t help liking the sardonic Tanager in this fast-paced Adirondacks tale of ancestral intrigue.
I was so excited to hear that Richard Adamson had written another Tanager mystery and Einstein’s Fiddle does not disappoint. A fun read that leaves you hoping the author is busy writing another instalment.
