Wentworth “Went" Dawson, young CEO and owner of Dawson Dynamics, is on an enforced vacation after suffering a mild heart attack. He has a list of foods he shouldn’t eat and a prescription for downtime, which is why he’s at Lake Tahoe, California, sitting in the hotel restaurant working on his laptop. Chip knows all about life in the fast lane and heart attacks, the very reasons he sold his dot-com company six years ago and is now experiencing his own personal joy in the mountains, skiing, snowboarding, swimming, and hiking. Putting in a shift at the restaurant for spending money, he’s immediately attracted to the man with the laptop, and a little flirting proves that Went is interested also. Will Went and Chip simply have a quick vacation fling, or is there more between them than meets the eye?

Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f-bomb and persuing the kama sutra by channeling the long lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to "Chicago."
A long-time writer of complicated haiku, currently Sean is attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate spinning and soap carving sex toys.
Barring any of that? He'll stick with writing his stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.
Being a somewhat uptight north-easterner, it took awhile to get used to the "dudes". But the story was something I could relate to, myself. The finding someone who fits; even if, at first glance they seem too different to work. It made me relaxed and happy. Just what I needed from a book right now.
Chip seems to be carefree but he has chosen to take a different direction in his life and live his dream. But meeting Went leads to thinking about what might be missing. Loved the way this one worked itself out.
Love Went and Chip!!!!!!!! Love how Went thinks Chip is only 19-20 and then we find out he is 32, a great surprise. This is a sweet little read. LOVED IT!!!! Especially the ending
