First, let me start by saying I was selected to be an arc reader for this book and I am beyond Thankful that I was allowed to read this book!
I love this book! I love the banter between the two main characters and we can’t forget the awesome funny one-liners that go on between the MMC Jiho and FMC Morgan! I cannot tell you how many times I laughed while reading this book. It is one of the best Rom-Coms that I have read in a long time.
Kandice has done a wonderful job with the character development in this book. It flows nicely as you read further into the book. You don’t just fall in love with the main characters but their family members as well. And then there is always that one character that makes your eye twitch, and don’t worry, you will know who it is immediately!! This book allows you to learn a little bit about Korean culture, and I love that because, without that, you wouldn’t quite understand what Jiho has to go through within his family.
I love how Jiho and Morgan meet and their banter that starts immediately! They automatically have a very strong sexual connection. Morgan is a little thicker than most girls and has some self-esteem issues. And she thinks that Jiho is a sexy gym god. LOL... She worries about how Korean culture will view her as she is overweight. After meeting Jiho’s sister, Jina, she agrees to a 3-month gym membership before she goes to Korea for one year for her work. She is even trying to learn Korean.
I love the book; this isn’t a slow-burn romance. It’s a fast-paced Rom-Com! You are immediately thrown into high gear with Jiho and Morgan’s intense spicy side. You have to remember this book is perfect for a fast-paced romance because she goes to Korea in three months!!
At first, I thought they needed more depth as far as their relationship goes, and they do, but not much! They start fast and are highly attracted to one another especially sexually! And that is okay because sometimes that is how some relationships start!!
Given the circumstances, a fast-paced spicy romance is a perfect way for these two to possibly come together as a couple. Will they make it that far or will her work come between them, or will the Korean culture way of life in the family household finish what they have started before it has just begun???
Do yourself a favor and buy this book to find out now!! First, let me start by saying I was selected to be an arc reader for this book and I am beyond Thankful that I was allowed to read this book!
