Rate this book
He’s Seattle’s most eligible billionaire.
I’m his little sister’s best friend.
We’re both playing it cool—until one “fake” kiss turns my world upside down.

I've been pretending I don't have feelings for Charlie Astor since I was a teenager. So, when he asks me to be his fake girlfriend for the summer, I know I should refuse, but I can’t.

His deal is I attend four high-society weddings as his plus-one to appease his parents, and he helps me land an audition with the Seattle Symphony—the career opportunity I desperately need.

It’s just for show.
No feelings. No future. No falling into his arms when no one’s looking.
But Charlie plays the fake boyfriend role a little too well.
He touches me like he owns me, and I can’t get enough of him.

When I find out I’m pregnant with his TWINS, my whole world crumbles down around me.

He promises to be there for me and our babies. But he’s a playboy who’s spent his entire life avoiding commitment. Can a pretend romance turn into forever?

My Bestie’s Billionaire Brother is a steamy, emotional romance featuring a ridiculously handsome billionaire, his sister's best friend, and a surprise pregnancy that brings them together for good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Because sometimes the best love stories come from your bestie’s billionaire brother...
Okay, so My Bestie's Billionaire Brother hit me right in the feels in that sneaky, swoony way I didn’t see coming. You know the type: the best friend’s older brother who’s been off-limits forever, but secretly totally not. Charlie Astor? Yeah, he’s Seattle’s ultimate eligible billionaire—and I’ve been crushing on him since forever, quietly and hopelessly.
When he shows up asking for a fake girlfriend, I’m like, “No way, that’s disaster waiting to happen.” But then he throws in the sweetest carrot—helping me land my dream audition with the Seattle Symphony. That deal? Suddenly, saying yes feels like the best risky move ever.
And oh man, that fake kiss? It was supposed to be just for show. But nope. It flipped my world upside down faster than I expected. I went from playing it cool to feeling all the things. And then—plot twist!—I’m pregnant with his twins. TWINS. My heart literally did a backflip.
Charlie’s the classic playboy with commitment issues, but when it comes to me and these babies, he promises to step up. And watching that fake relationship slowly blossom into something real and powerful? I was hooked.
This book nailed all my fave vibes:
• That slow burn between “bestie’s brother” tension
• Real, messy feelings that don’t apologize for being complicated
• High society glitz with the down-to-earth emotional core
• The messy, beautiful chaos of unexpected pregnancy and the hope of forever
Alix Vaughn gave me everything I wanted and then some. This story is sweet, steamy, and heartfelt, perfect for anyone who loves a second chance at love with a billionaire who might just change his playboy ways.
If you want a summer romance that starts fake but ends forever—grab this one ASAP. I’m still daydreaming about Charlie and those twins!.

Tess and Charlie . . .

Tess is the best friend of Jane, Charlie Astor’s sister, and Tess has had a crush on Charlie from her teenage years, having known him since middle school. When Tess’ horse acts up and breaks loose, Charlie almost magically stops him before he reaches a full parking lot which would have been a dangerous disaster. His sister Jane invites him to join them for a family dinner that evening at Riverview, then he and Jane sit in the stands to watch Tess ride Oliver in a perfect no-fault competition. He even helps her with getting her horse walked and watered before he leaves. At dinner, Jane had to cancel when she had an issue to take care of, so Tess and Charlie were told to go ahead and have dinner without her. And she enjoyed every minute of it!

So when Charlie Astor, CEO of Emerald City Coffee and son of Seattle royalty, has to attend four fancy high-society weddings which require a plus-one, he asks Tess to accompany him. Since that crush she had apparently never went away, it doesn’t take long for real feelings to show up; and apparently he had a few hidden away as well! But how will he feel about her pregnancy… and the twins they are bringing into the world? And will Jane be okay with it, knowing her brother is facing an important decision now? Or will the playboy panic and run away from his responsibility?

Tess was training with her horse, that she bought for show jumping.
The horse noticed a mare and he gone nuts she fell from the horse and he gone running.
Charlie her brother best friend came at the entrance and he catch it.
That night the three of them had a dinner but both of them make their presence, Jane didn’t go. So they eat alone .
Charlie received 4 wedding invitations but he didn’t know who will take with him, he went to his parents dinner and he knew that his mother is going to bring it up, while we’re they talking his parents mentioned Tess, that she broke up with her boyfriend, he thought that his parents respected her and she’s a perfect because she will not embarrass him.
One day he went to meet with his sister into a cafeteria and with her was Tess, obviously he asked if she wanted to accompany him with the four weddings.
At first she didn’t accept because of her heart , she always had a crush on him and she was afraid of a heart break. And than she tells him that she will think about it.
When he met his father at work he asked him who would come with him and he tells him that Tess is going to be his date. His father tells him now it’s time to settle down because you’re going to be 40 , he told him that he’s dating Tess. His father was happy but it wasn’t true.

A lovely story that I recommend .
It worth the time 😉

Alix Vaughn did an excellent job of showing everyone that there always a chance at love. Jane's best friend Tess has had a crust on Charles Astor ever since high school but thought it was impossible to get involved with her best friend's brother. He was a real playboy and she was worried she would get hurt. But Tess is a Cellist with the Pac-West Orchestra which is closing down before the end of summer. Charles Astor needs help to get his parent off his back about his dating and has 4 wedding to attend so he ask Tess if she would be his fake girlfriend for the 4 weddig and he would see what he could do about talking to a friend who on the board of the Seattle Sumphonyn about getting an opportunity to audition. Tess agrees as she really needs the help and know alot of the people who's wedding they would be attending. But as time goes by they both start to have real feeling for each other. Tess ends up pregnant and she is not sure if Charles will stick around or not but Charles says that he will be there for the baby and me. I love how Alix write in all kind of things to test them both about what they want. I would recommend this book to anyone enjoy a well written about the trials of love and understanding.

This book had all the things I love—a swoon-worthy billionaire, a surprise pregnancy, and that delicious forbidden twist of falling for your best friend's brother! Alix Vaughn delivers a feel-good romance with just the right mix of steam, emotion, and heart. The chemistry was undeniable, and I loved watching the characters grow from flirty tension to full-blown love (with a few bumps along the way). A total binge-read that left me smiling. Perfect for fans of brother’s-best-friend tropes and surprise baby drama done right!.

WOW oh WOW this book starts off running and that is no joke because I found myself smiling when Tess has to take off running after Oliver. You need to read the book to see who Oliver is. He sounds like he can be a handful at times. :) When Charlie steps in things start to get steamy and when he is needing a date to not 1 but 4 high-profile weddings Tess who also happens to be his sister Jane's best friend is who he is considering for the job. Trust me when I say this romance book is a must read. I had this entire book finished in a day simply because I couldn't stop reading it. Thank goodness for a husband who doesn't mind a bowl of cereal for dinner. :)

sometimes it’s just fate

Wendy’s to meet up and decide to make a deal where they pretend to be in a relationship, that’s when the fun starts. And by fun, I mean, attraction, chaos, feelings, stirring, that shouldn’t, and oops, a surprise pregnancy! Now what? Well, you’ll have to redo find out. I really like the story. My only issue is that it stops very abruptly. It’s too quick. I wish we could’ve heard more. But it still leaves me with a sense of happiness, and I’m thrilled I read it.

This was a DNF for me. I just couldn't suspend enough disbelief. How can she afford to purchase and own a horse, then afford to compete all on on a musician's salary? Then she breaks up with her fiance just because he got a job opportunity somewhere else and she would have to move with him. No other reason, he was a good guy. How shallow can you be?
The male lead was also shallow. Maybe if you keep reading he grows up. But after several chapters, the author didn't make me care about him enough to find out.

She is his little sister's best friend who has had a crush on him since she was a teenager. When Charlie propositions Tess to be his plus one for wedding dates it will change her life in was unexpected. Will Tess get the love of her life and her career in one go along with happiness with Charlie. This story had me in their corner from start to finish as their relationship evolves from pretense to the real deal.

I enjoyed this book. I'm a little over the surprise pregnancy trope but this one was done realistically without you wanting to shake a character for hiding things. What I also loved about this book was that the FMC showed horses and was also in the arts. I found their professions to be unique. Loved this best friend's brother trope and how they started off fake dating. I'd recommend to friends looking for these tropes.

I loved this book. I love the fake dating, best friend’s brother trope and this one didn’t disappoint. Hunky billionaire bachelor Charlie needs a date for four weddings and he asks his sister’s best friend Tess if she will help him out. It doesn’t take long for them to go from fake to real. I loved how they complimented each other and that it didn’t have the usual break up and get back together storyline that a lot of these stories have. It was one of those books you hate to put down. I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. I definitely recommend.

I don’t know why, but I didn’t love this book. The story is fine, the characters are fine and the steam is fine. I just didn’t connect with the characters like I normally do with an Alix Vaughn book. It is well written but seemed to drag for me. I loved the first book so I will just chalk this up as not every book is for everyone.

Lighthearted

For some reason, I was expecting a massive 3rd act breakup but was so relieved when there wasn't one. Especially with all the warnings Tess received about Charlie. Charlie and Tess were adorable together, I do wish there was more build-up and fire to their relationship, though. The ending was just right as well.

Wedding Date Personnel

Charlie is need of a date for several weddings he was invited to. Who better to attend with him than a family friend, Tess. This story was a fun and charming story that I could not get enough of. The chemistry between Tess and Charlie was intense and full of sparks. It was definitely an enjoyable read.

unfinished

I felt like there were parts that were skipped over. Timelines didn’t add up. The story has lots of potential. Overall it is good but the ending is very disappointing. I was looking to flip the page and there wasn’t another page

Beautiful Love Story

This was my first Alix Vaughn book. I loved her writing style and there was a balance of characters in conversation, mindful thinking, and love making. Her story was very believable.

If the pill is your only form of birth control, then use it correctly. Making the heroine a cello player was a nice little twist.
