1.5* - I spent more time asking "wtf why?" rather than enjoying this one.
Rest will be spoilers from here:
Jorge is single and desperate for a relationship. His best friend (Layla) from book 1 asks if he wants to sell himself at the kink club for charity. He's all up for it. Rory buys him for 100k. I was enjoying this one, until here.
Jorge then says that Rory didn't need to do that to make him feel better which Rory disagrees with because he's wanted him for "all these years". He tells Jorge to strip and kneel, asks if he needs a daddy to tame him. Then it skips to the next chapter?? Layla is asking what happened at the start of the next chapter - turns out Rory said he needs to earn it by behaving.
Not completely against but definitely confused. Only for the next chapter to be TWO WEEKS LATER? Why? Rory hears Layla asking Jorge about his date with a pilot and gets jealous even though he's been avoiding Jorge and keeping his distance. Here's a great idea, if you want someone to be a "good boy" for you, maybe actually hang out with them and begin to form a relationship with him??
An eternity watching and waiting for Jorge to be a good boy... My good boy. To show me he wants this. I’ve kept my distance, only seeing him in passing — until tonight.

You know how he uses his jealousy? He traps Jorge in the bathroom with him and says something like "I thought I told you to be a good boy" then he spanks him for not doing that?? The next page/chapter? EIGHT DAYS LATER? He corners him at work, asks if he's been a good boy (again) and puts paper in Jorge's pocket.
They spend every night for a week having sex before it skips to a week later. Jorge ends it as he wants more but Rory refuses. The next chapter is 6 days later? Rory is like "I miss you" they magically fall in love and have sex. The next chapter is a few months later where Jorge agreed to move in. The last chapter they finish having sex and Rory proposes.
Trust me when I say, I understand it's a novella. And yes, I understand it's the only mm romance in this series. But this made no sense whatsoever because every time I tried to focus on a scene happening that's it next chapter, next timeskip, next plotline? Personally, there was nothing to like, there was nothing to dislike. Idk how else to word this.

This quick little novella packs a seriously spicy punch! Rory and Jorge were favourite side characters through the entire series so it was really fun to see them get their happy ending too!
As with any novella, I found myself wanting more of their story... but this was a nice little ending to this fabulous series!

What a way to end a spicy and amazing series. Daddy is a bonus novella with all the spice and more.
Rory is not only a bodyguard but an honorary Evans. After saving Quinn and almost dying, Rory is scarred inside and out. He doesn't let any of his partners see him truly. He hides himself, feeling old and scarred.
Jorge is young and Layla's best friend. He works at the club the Evans own and has had a thing for Rory. He volunteers to be part of the bachelor auction the club is hosting.
Rory has had a thing for Jorge as well, and he can't let anyone have him. Placing the highest bid and getting Jorge, Rory makes sure Jorge is a good boy for his Daddy before giving him what they both have been wanting.
The emotions I felt while reading this one had me both excited and heartbroken . Rory is so broken, and Jorge just wants to truly be with him, all of him. I love how these two are when they are together. They were just meant for one another.
You can feel how much they need and want each other. Their love not only for the Evans but each other is what many searches for and hopes to experience.
J.L. Quick never misses a beat when it comes to spice. Oh, the spice in this one had me blushing. Rory is definitely a sexy dom that makes Jorge not only fall to his knees but is on his best behavior. That bathroom scene was the best! 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶

This was the PERFECT novella to finish off this series, though I am sad to see it come to an end 😭
Rory has spent his time protecting the Evans women and it's taken a toll on his body making him feel unworthy of love, when the club has a bachelor auction Quinn tries to get him to participate but our sweet man just is not ready. But when he shows up the night of the auction and sees Jorge on stage he can't help but let all his fantasies he's had about him win and he bids on him....and wins 😏
After his bestie Layla asks him to participate in the auction Jorge is more than happy to, the last thing he expects is Rory to bid on him, win, and as actually want him. When Rory takes him to a room he makes our baby boy Jorge work hard on being patient and wait for daddy 😏.
This story was steamy but also heart warming, Rory struggles with his self image dude to the scars on his body from what he does for work, he believes that no one is going to love him because of what's happened to his body. But our angel Jorge simply wants to love Rory for who he is scars and all! If you haven't already jump head first into this series starting with Owned to learn about the HOTT Evans brothers and our honor Evans brother Rory, and our sassy, bratty, loving bartender Jorge 🖤

This one has all the angst and the spice oh god it was everything! These two finally got the HEA they both deserved. I had a smile on my face the whole time while reading. Jorge has been a fixture throughout this whole series and I might have squealed when I saw he was getting his own book. You can't help but fall for him over and over. He's every girls' gay best friend who supports her endlessly and encourages her to step out of her comfort zone to find what's right for her and he deserves the perfect man too! Throughout we also got snippets of Rory, bodyguard elite who nearly laid down his life for the Evans family, so seeing these two come together was magical. Jorge's humor and wit were exactly what the beautifully damaged bodyguard, Rory needed and I couldn't have smiled more as these two got their happily ever after.
This novella is short, but it's packed with a whole lot of heart and heat because these two sure do light up some sheets (and couches).

I have been waiting for Jorge and Rory's story and am so glad that it is finally here. It is a novella, so of course I was left wanting more, but I loved how this wrapped up this series. Throughout the whole series, I would never have guessed that Rory had some insecurities that he was battling, nor would I have guess that Jorge and Rory were pining for the other for years. JL Quick did almost get me when I thought she was not going to be showing their first time on page and I almost threw my kindle, but then as I started to continue to read, I realized it was delayed gratification. And let me tell you, the delayed gratification was worth it. I loved this novella so much and am so sad the series is done now, but have loved the ride the Evans family has taken me on.

Each and every book in the Men of Club Triskelion series by JL Quick is simply perfect. Well developed characters, amazing plot, spice, humor, action, all the things you want in a romance book. This novella is the perfect ending to the series. The age gap, the angst and the sexy AF smut make Jorge and Rory’s story spectacular. Truly! I loved every word. They both deserve their moment and boy did they get it. Heart hurting emotions and heartwarming happiness, and all the kinky goodness to get us there is expertly written. This fast paced, age gap steamy MM romance is a must read and a fantastic way to close out the Men of Club Triskelion series.

Awww! I absolutely loved this bonus novella, and last edition to The Men of Club Triskelion Series. The whole series was amazing and these 2 side characters absolutely deserved their happy ending as well. Rory and Jorge, who would have thought?! Rory is a silver fox with some emotional baggage and Jorge is the life of the party, but they complement each other so very well. Both of them were searching for the same exact things and I'm so glad they found that in each other. Kudos to the Queen for a phenomenal series!

Finished Daddy or it finished me idk, what I do know is that this book was absolute love. Rory and Jorge are characters which we get to love in Men of Club Triskelion series as side characters and we get to know them in this book. This book runs in parallel timeline with Shared and is a only with pages shy of 100. Jorge and Rory are characters many can relate with. Also, yes Jorge needed a firm hand 🤭. A fast pages book with perfect spice and in-depth characteristics of characters is what many crave and this will hit you write on the spot.

The Men of Club Triskelion was such a great series. I loved every single book. Dark Irish Mafia is my go-to, and JL Quick's books always come through for me. Daddy was no different.
This was a wrap up novella for everyone's favorite bodyguard, Rory, and club bartender/playboy, Jorge. We know they've been eyeing each other for a few books now; but when Jorge joins the bachelor auction, Rory refuses to let anyone else win.
While I can always take a full length novel from JL, this was the story I needed to finish the series. Rory is finally happy, and Jorge helped him get there.❤️❤️

one more time for those who are new here, if JL Quick writes it, I will not only read it but love it!
While I have loved Jorge from the very first book, and Rory too let's be real, I don't know if I ever expected these two to end up together but it makes so much sense.
This is a fast-paced novella that if you didn't know these characters it would be almost TOO fast; but, the build-up of who these people are just works. I loved seeing the dual timeline of Shared in this as well. I love that this is the conclusion to this series while also being devastated that it's over.

Rory had watched all of his non biological brothers (they may as well been blood related) find love….when was it going to be his turn….
But you also have Jorge….he needs to find love too….even his best friend Layla found love with one of the brothers….
Who would have thought that Rory & Jorge would be each others person but can they make it last??? Rory has his walls up so high they may never come down…is Jorge the one to tear them down for good???

This novella was the perfect way to close this series! I’m glad we got Jorge and Rory’s story. It was a fast paced, quick read that delivered on all levels. You had connection, emotions and plenty of spice. It was yet another reminder of why I enjoy JL Quick’s writing. If you enjoyed the previous books in this series, you will love this one as well.

This was such a perfect ending to this series. I absolutely loved the chemistry and the spice between Rory and Jorge and it was great to see their story after seeing them in the other books in the series. Sad to see this series is done, but happy with this final HEA. Would highly recommend. Thank you to J.L. Quick for the ARC of this story.

Short, sweet and spicy!
I’ve loved these characters from the first book in the series so seeing them get their HEA was such a treat.
It was like 80% spice and that was perfect for these two.
A fantastic way to say goodbye to this series and this family.

What a phenomenal ending to The Men of Club Triskelion!! Jorge & Rory BELONG together !!! The SPICE IS OFF THE CHARTS !!! And you get all the fun and banter of the whole Evans Family crew! I cannot say enough about this novella !!! As always read the triggers & warnings.

A very short read. I wish it was a bit longer because the dynamic of Jorge and Rory is good from the tiny bit that was given. 100% recommend this series.
