Welcome to Beaker Brothers Ranch. Part dairy farm, part animal sanctuary, and currently home to one runaway heir hiding behind a herd of miniature cows.
Connor keeps things running smoothly in the Cuddle Cove, a cozy corner of the ranch where guests come to unwind, snuggle up, and fall in love with his herd of miniature highlands. Around here, he’s known as the quiet cowboy with a steady smile and hands that never stop working.
But under all that calm is a secret he’s spent years hiding. He was once the heir to an enormous fortune; until he came out and ran away.
Now, with news that his grandfather has died and the world is searching for the missing Richmont heir, Connor has a plan; keep his head down through the big Christmas Experience at Beaker Brothers Ranch, and then disappear again.
But then Hayden arrives; warm, curious, and impossible to ignore. Suddenly the lonely ranch nights are filled with laughter, late-night talks, and a spark Connor didn’t expect.
Staying invisible now feels like the hardest thing in the world, because for the first time in years, Connor finally knows how it feels to be seen.

Another adorably sweet romance by Becca.
I love that this series is adorable and kind and all about found family and safety and new beginnings. But there's also just the right amount of angst. It's enough to get you addicted and get your heart rate going, but it's not enough for the Anxiety to get wound up.
Connor was sunshine and cuddles in a blonde-bottle. He wants happiness and minis. He wasn't expecting romance or a forever place. Then again, neither was Hayden, who thought he hated all things country and dirty. Then again (x2) Beaker Brothers Ranch is a haven for everyone.
Plus that teaser chapter for the next book!?! D: I neeeeed it now.
Another cute, sweet instalment to the Beakers Brothers Ranch.
I don’t think this story ended up being who I expected from the end of the first book, though I was looking forward to Connor’s turn, and he and Hayden are adorable together.
The boys spark up an attraction straight away that quickly develops into more, but there are some secrets and drama for them to work through before their HEA.
An easy to read saga, with humour and romance set against Christmas time at the ranch. Along with the first book, the animals and location play a large part in the story, and it was good to be back in their world.
Nice to see plenty of involvement with the other characters at the ranch, and I love the little links and nods to Becca’s other series too. I hope we get a Banana Ball player cabin stay before the series end!
Another clunky book title for me, though fitting to the story, and it’s just a title so not really an issue.
I was *almost* positive who’s up next - but realised at the end of the book I was foiled again! Still, I’m sure it’ll be just as enjoyable - looking forward to it.

We are back at the Beaker Brothers ranch just in time for the holidays. Connor has been working here for ten years hiding from his past and a life he never wanted to live, he's content running Cuddle Cove at the ranch and taking care of the animals. Hayden is sent to Beaker Brothers for their Christmas Experience to write a review that no one knows he's doing. The chemistry is instant, the draw of the ranch pulls Hayden to find peace from city living. These two just allow each other to open up and talk and when their truths come out, both men are understanding and accepting of the other. The ranch has a way of pulling in lost souls animals and humans alike to show them what it is like to be accepted and loved as you are. When Connors past comes to light, he finds a way along with his assistant to make it work for everyone. A fun hearted low angst read just right for the holiday season. With a beautiful set up for the next story in the series I cannot wait to see how Matthew finds a way to tame Atlas.
This is an opposites attract to more romance, featuring Connor and Hayden, and is book two in the Beaker Brothers Ranch series.
Connor, a runaway heir working quietly at Beaker Brothers Ranch, plans to keep his head down through Christmas and disappear again. But when Hayden arrives, their easy connection and growing spark makes Connor question his plans.
This was such a charming Christmas romance with all the cozy vibes. Connor is a quiet, hardworking cowboy hiding and Hayden is warm, curious and gentle - that makes you root for them instantly. Their connection builds with laughter, late-night talks, and stolen glances, turning this into a tender story about choosing love over fear. A sweet, heartfelt holiday read that left me smiling.
Ps. I want to go see the miniature cows and the Cuddle Cove so bad.
Things to expect in this book are: Book 2 in series MM romance Small town Opposites attract Christmas time Cowboy x Critic Secret identity Hurt / Comfort Spicy times Restraints/Rope play S*x toys Both fall hard Found family HEA
City boy and cowboy. Love this trope with a twist, since of course we know Connor was once a city boy himself, and a billionaire at that! Both MCs had me rooting for them, both as separate characters, and together as a couple. I was happy to see that the secrets they were keeping from each other didn’t cause too much angst when they were revealed.
I mean, who doesn’t love a book with a bunch of adorable animal side characters?! I was so happy to hear more about all of them since they’re were a highlight from book 1 for me.
3rd act drama broke my heart for Connor! But the way the Beaker family “rescued” him was everything! I love that the author chose it to go that way instead of Hayden being the one to go after him. The resolution of all of this was truly enjoyable with no major drama.
Cabins Cows Critics by Becca Jackson Arc review 🐮 Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 spice: 🌶️🌶️.5 Characters: Connor and Hayden Tropes: Cowboy x cityboy, critique, secret identity, Christmas on a farm, insta lust, unique animals

Cabins Cows Critics is the second book in the Beaker Brothers Ranch series, it can be read as a standalone but is better in order. This is a hurt/comfort, opposites attract, hidden identity, small town read about Hayden and Connor. I mostly enjoyed this story, it just has a 3rd act breakup and I'm not a fan of that, characters were great.
3.5 stars rounded down. This was very cute but didn't really hold my attention. I loved the setting but the main couple really lacked the chemistry. Honestly I don't know how to feel about this one.
