About the author

A veteran of many years in the British Army working with the Army’s helicopters. He then joined the Civil Service before taking early retirement and moving to a villa in Spain. He writes his books when he can tear himself away from the view across the orange groves to the Mediterranean. Married with two children. He is slowly learning Spanish.

Having completed and published his seven book action thriller series, he has written two historical fiction trilogies and is working on another. There are also a few standalone books of historical fiction

As light relief he is also helping his daughter in writing a book of bedtime stories for young children, based on the adventures of a small dog who lives in Spain

Nigel, I admire how the author’s life experiences shine through your writing. Your thrillers are sharp and authentic, your historical fiction feels richly researched, and I love that you balance it all with the lighthearted bedtime stories you're creating with your daughter. It’s clear you're a storyteller with both range and heart.
