Hybrids.

If I had to choose one word to sum up all of my problems, this would be it.
Without hybrids, I wouldn’t have to watch my best friend slowly becoming a monster. Without hybrids, I could let go of the mentality “hunt or be hunted.” CHAS wouldn’t be scouring the Earth, intent on slaughtering and using Alex to do it. Without hybrids, I wouldn’t have to be on guard that losing my temper meant losing my shape. There would be no monster inside me, struggling to get out.

Then again, without hybrids, I wouldn’t have Wesley St. John.

Blood Bond Review on K-Books

"Doing something just because you feel like you have to or you're supposed to, that's not destiny. Destiny is doing something because you know you couldn't do anything else."

Woah! I am not really sure whether this review will actually make sense because I am still reeling from this book. It was just phenomenally good.

Left reeling from the discovery of the Hybrid werewolves Tara, Alex, Wes and The Cause must band together to try and sort out the mess that Miles left behind. But things are never as easy as they seem. Tara's wolf side is starting to emerge, will she fight it or embrace it? And will the team be able to save Tara from the Hybrids AND CHAS?

This book was just phenomenal and without a doubt the best one in the series so far. I am just completely and utterly in love with this series and it just gets better and better with each book. Heather is just a phenomenal author that throws so many twists and turns in there you feel like you are the one experiencing it all and cannot sit still as you are panicking about what is going to happen next.

Tara is awesome in this one. We definitely see a different side to her. We've seen her embrace her Hunter side of her but when her Wolf side starts coming out we see Tara going through a struggle. She is convinced that by embracing her Wolf she will be a monster so to see her going through this identity struggle we definitely see a different side of her. She's always been this incredibly strong heroine who takes everything on board and battles through it. In Blood Bond we see the more vulnerable side of Tara and I really loved that. She is in no way weak like some YA heroines but she is just human and we see everything taking effect on her.

Wes is just... *sigh* PERFECT! I know a lot of people turned to Team Alex in the previous book and Wes wasn't in the previous book very much. Well he is back and he is ready to fight for his girl and steal every female readers heart along the way. He is so much more swoon-worthy in this one and he is perfect and supportive. In the previous two books Wes was very much overbearingly protective in Tara and came across as if he didn't believe in her abilities. Well he is pretective but he's also supportive and it's clear he does truly believe in Tara he just wants her safe because of the amount he loves her. I am totally and utterly head-over-heels in love with him. So... if things don't work out with Tara and Wes just so Heather knows I'm fine with being written into the series and taking Wes off her hands ;)

Alex... Well I have mixed feelings about him in the book. Don't get me wrong I still love him and all but he is definitely no Wes and all the way through the book I just got the feeling he was keeping secrets from everyone and plotting something. I'm not sure about him and not sure I really trust him. I seriously hope I'm wrong but we'll see what happens in book 4. I will make up my mind about him then.

This book had so many twists and turns I'm pretty sure I have whiplash from this book. It's phenomenal and so many things happen that I did not see happening at all. I was completely shocked. Everytime I was sure I knew where the story was going I was left open-mouthed, jaw-on-the-floor shocked. I just couldn't believe what was happening and ended up just freaking out for the whole last 40%. Endings of books do shock me quite a lot but none actually literally leave me speechless. Blood Bond did! I just literally couldn't speak... okay that's a lie I could say three words... WHAT! JUST! HAPPENED! I was so shocked by the ending of this book I was just like OMG WHAT?!?! And now I am freaking out over what on earth will happen with these characters next... the wait for book 4 is going to be torturous.

For somebody who isn't a big fan of werewolf stories I am completely and utterly addicted and obsessed with this series. Its just phenomenal and would recommend this series to everyone. The first book is great and they just get better and better with every book. Blood Bond was phenomenal and I would give it a million stars if I could. I cannot wait to see what Heather does with this series next and I will definitely be waiting very impatiently anxiously awaiting the next installment. It was just freaking epic!! Phenomenal!!

"Being in love with you is more than I ever thought possible. You're my family, my soul mate, the one I was made for. I'm not going anywhere."

We left off where Tara returned home from Woodpoint Academy. Still unsure what Miles plan was or what action will happen because of his experiment.

We find out that Mile’s is correct about Tara’s blood being the key to saving George.

More hybrids are sent after Tara and her friends. The one in charge needs to be found in order to stop them. When Tara’s friends lives are at stake she has to make an important decision in order to keep everyone safe only Cord and her might not survive.

More hybrids are discovered and CHAS is on a rampage to kill all hybrids at any cost. Alex is a double agent working the system to find the right path. The question is will he take the right path and will it lead to victory or destruction for Tara and THE CAUSE.

This is a good continuation for the series. In the end it will link everyone together and THE CAUSE should grow in strength, Tara becomes stronger and more aware of her wolf and the changes that she must make. Tara also knows the sacrifice of her actions. We are still left with questions for CHAS and what is happening in the organization.

Rating: 3 1/2 STARS

Happy Reading!

Definitely my favorite in the series so far!!! It kept my attention the whole time, the romance was better, and the character development was top tier. The love triangle is pretty good, and I’m not leaning on either side. I also thought it was funny. 5/5 ⭐️

Oh. My. God. This series is absolutely amazing and I'm already jonesing for the next installment... if you haven’t picked it up, then you’re seriously missing out, and I highly suggest you start ASAP, especially as this third installment, Blood Bond, takes the cake! Of course, it always helps that our swoon worthy males, Wes and Alex, are back and feuding more than ever now that Tara’s home from school and the war between Hunters, Weres, and Hybrids is really heating up. And of course, Hildenbrand has done such a phenomenal job fleshing out the plot that this amazing story seamlessly flows together and holds the reader’s attention until the very end, when a massive, heart pounding cliffhanger drops the bottom out from under him/her. That’s right… it might kill you, but it’s so worth the read! All I can say is, one of our very sexy male characters is going to be pissed at the start of book four... royally.

But, back to the story. Hildenbrand has created some amazing characters that I’ve loved since the very beginning, and watching them grow and change as the story evolves and becomes more intense is possibly one of the most rewarding things for a reader. I love a good plotline, but I love real, vivid, fleshed out characters even more, and Hildenbrand knows just how to make them. I have to say that Tara has come very far over the course of the series, and she has had to make some tough decisions, but I think the toughest yet are in this third installment, and I don’t envy her. While I agree with her wholeheartedly, I don’t think I could do it. If faced with the same situations, I feel that I would not win out, and I respect Tara all the more for being able to make the difficult decisions, knowing someone’s life might hang in the balance. It’s just amazing!

And the hybrids? I love the hybrids. Well, let me rephrase. I love the idea behind the hybrids, and the mystery they bring to the novel, as well as the fear and heartache they evoke. A war is coming and I’m dying to know the outcome… pins and needles, people. Pins and needles.

HEATHER, I LOOOOOVE YOU!!! I was beyond thrilled when I got this ARC to read and then for the blog tour I BEGGED to have a special post, and being wonderful, you gave it to me! I decided to re-read the whole series to prepare myself. And boy, I wasn’t even close to prepared! This is a whirlwind ride of wonderful, heartbreaking, magnificent, beautiful, spectacular writing!!

This WILL be spoilery for the first two novels, at least a little bit. This story takes off about a week after the end of Cold Blood. Tara is so ready to go home to check on her friend George after the attack and incident with Miles. But she is torn. She knows that this means leaving Alex. And on the last night at Wood Pointe, Alex tells her his plans, which is bad. Tara knows she has feelings for him, but she loves Wes so she let’s him go. Upon coming home, some new “rules” are put into place for Tara and now also Cambria, who is coming home with Tara. Tara’s mom is learning about all the secrets Tara has kept, and even though she wants nothing more than to protect Tara, she also understands that Tara needs to properly defend herself. There are enemies from all sides!

Sometimes things are going well at home, she gets to see her friends, her family, her extended family which are the Cause people, and find out even more secrets- the “leader” of the hybrid wants Tara- bad! And FINALLY Wes is standing BESIDE Tara instead of trying to push her behind him. He is trying to let her kinda stand on her own.

All I can say is WOW!!! I’m almost at a loss for words. I mean, I expected surprises- BUT WOAH!! I can’t even comprehend what to say right now!! I was BLOWN AWAY! And talk about EPIC ENDING!!! And so many twists!! Look, if you haven’t read this is series, you are seriously missing out. And there is so much growth for EACH character!

Tara is learning to come to terms with not just WHO, but WHAT, she is. Wes is learning to let Tara be a person and not just something to protect. Alex is trying to cope with his feelings for Tara while keeping true to himself. Cambria is learning that family can include people who are not your blood. And Tara’s mother is learning all the secrets Tara’s kept and learning that Tara needs to live her own life with her own choices, no matter how much you want to keep her out of things.

I need to clarify that I am still firmly planted on Team Alex, but I am no longer on the dislike side of Wes. It’s going to sound strange, but in the first book I didn’t actually like Wes. Most days I wanted to punch him. But he made Tara happy, sometimes, and I wanted things to work out. When book two came around, I knew I was gunna fall for Alex! I also had a feeling at the end of book one that Alex was going to have a role after saving Tara in the warehouse. I know a lot of you are VERY team Wes- KAY THIS IS MEANT FOR YOU!! My friend Kayleigh from K-Books, is seriously invested in Wes… We argue this lots lol– ps she has a giveaway at her blog for this tour as well I’m very disappointed in Alex right now, I’ve got more respect for Wes than I’ve ever had, and I think I’m with Cambria on the Derek subject, BUT I’m still Team Alex!

All I know is, after that ending, I’M DYING!!! Do you hear me- DYING!!! I don’t know if my biggest dream has come true or if I am gunna lose my breath!! Heather, I’ll need book 4, REALLY SOON!!! Throw me a bone here!!!

To my stalkee- you AMAZING WOMAN!!! There is no words for how much I respect and appreciate you! Not just as an author, but as a person and someone I could call a friend!! I will not give you a regular 5 PAW rating… THERE IS NO AMOUNT OF PAWS EQUIVALENT TO THIS MAGNIFICENT BOOK!!! So think INFINITE PAWS!!!

Heather has out down herself with the third instalment of her Dirty Blood series. The start off, for book three is a gradual building as the storyline progressed. I found myself reading into the wee hrs of the night. 3am I closed the book and thought WOW !!!! I want more. As I said to Heather If I could Howl - I would've been after that ending !!! ** a wolf howl not cry ** snickers. This series that Heather has so cleverly written is one of the best werewolves series I have been lucky enough to read. We don't see alot of werewolves stories out there and Heather certainly gives us a refreshing and suspenseful action packed tale with this.

After reading the ending to Blood Bond ........

I needed book 4 like now - an ending that certainly fluffed my pillows and had me in a tether.

Blood Bond as lots of Twists and turns , A HUGE heart ache , kick arse action, and characters that will draw you into the pages. I enjoyed every character that Heather has scribed, some more than others.** grins ** But I was certainly happy to see more of Wes in this story. The love that Tara and Wes has is more than just lust. It makes you gooey inside.. - sigh - But I honestly couldn't help but want Alex tooooooooo..

There will be moments where you will be teary eyed... Heather certainly didn't waste any time - adding in that bit of heart ache in this story - but they say, what hurts you makes you stronger RIGHT !!!

I'm not sure which book boyfriend I like the most but after that ending - I certainly need some explaining ;) It was defiantly unpredictable and I certainly didn't see it coming. I love that in a story !!!! UNPREDICTABLE !!

George still holds that soft spot for me - the friendship that Tara and George had was certainly something you would never give up. Blood Bond is certainly a fantastic title for this book with all that became about. (( sigh )) Heather portrays all the emotions so well in this story giving the reader great depth into the relationships of each and every character.

Heather certainly packs this installment in the series with danger, revelations, heartache , and, of course, smexy romance. Tara is a feisty heroine surrounded by hot, hunters and werewolves , and a world destined for her. This instalment of Dirty blood gives a deeper glimpse into the world in which Heather has created, filling in gaps from previous books and leaving us hanging off the edge of our seat in eager anticipation of what's to come in book 4 .

Blood Bond is an action-packed, fast-paced, entertaining, addictive and completely engrossing story. With amazing dialogue , intelligent and action-packed plot, sizzling chemistry between our kick arse heroine, hunters , and hybrids and an ending that will have you WANTING MORE !!

Heather Hildenbrand strikes again! Continuing on with the Dirty Blood series, along with Tara, Wes and Alex's story...

Blood Bond picks up right where the second one left off. End of the school year, going back home, and trying to figure out the ever present Hybrid problem. Why the mixture of human and wolf can sometimes go terribly wrong.

Tara continues on her journey of finding herself and battling those who want to hunt and kill her. If she isn't trying to protect herself, family and friends from being hunted or killed; she's trying to figure out everything and anything she can about her family's history. We have some great returning characters and also have some new loveable ones to become acquainted with...

Wesley St. John makes more of an appearance in this third book, saying things like:

"Being in love with you is more than I ever thought possible. You're my family, my soul mate, the one I was made for. I'm not going anywhere."

Go ahead start swooning...And as much as I LOVE Mr. St.John... my heart and vote is still for my Alex! His feelings do not go unnoticed or unappreciated (well to me anyway!)...

"I love you, Tara Godfrey. I love you so much that I walk around breathless from the exertion...I don't have family. I don't get attached. It's easier that way. Which is what I kept telling myself about you, but it happened despite my best efforts to prevent it. It's not going away and it's not fading."

Go ahead, swoon one more time!...Now can you see why I just love the underdog in this particular instance?

Now with all of my feelings cleared, this story doesn't solely focus on the love aspect. It focus's on finding answers to problems, coming across some pretty epic revelations about histories and bonds formed, and it leaves you with the ULTIMATE cliffhanger! I had to message Heather and ask her why she did this to me! Unfortunately for me, she spilled nothing BUT that's okay. I will just crave the next book that much more :)

It was a great continuation of the world of hybrids, werewolves, and humans. The battles they face, the losses they endure, and the strength it takes to overcome the situations that were thrown their way. I thoroughly enjoyed how many new twists and turns were thrown into the mix. Read the first two and then indulge in this third one!

Wes sums up the Tara Godfrey we have all come to know and love the best:

"If there's one thing I've learned about you, it's that you take what most would consider an order and turn it into a suggestion."

Bravo Tara, we love that you are such a badass! Happy Reading :)

So, I'm guessing with the whole cliffhanger ending, this isn't the end of the series?

Either way, I'm pleased to note, Blood Bond was nothing short of what I had expected: intense & action-packed.

However, I was bothered by the whole "pack" bond thing...Usually, in other were novels, the whole bonding thing is meant for mates only. So it took me awhile to get to used a new "bonding" concept. I wouldn't have minded if it was just between two hybrids, but I don't understand how it could work with an actual pack. It's bizarre, and the whole "master" thing was a tiny bit off-putting...

Also, although it's painfully obvious that Wes and Tara are "destined" to end up together, I have a huge soft spot for the underdog. Always. It's just my thing. And that little sliver of hope I had for Alex and Tara?? I hope the chemistry between them doesn't die off in the next book. Alex needs to redeem himself! And Wes needs to step up his game! Don't get me wrong, I don't like it when guys are TOO overprotective, or stalker status, or possessive, but.... Wes almost seemed TOO trusting. I'm hoping the love-triangle (or possible square), will stay fresh, and intact in the next book! I have my fingers crossed.

Anyway, another 5/5 for the Dirty Blood series. I love the direction its headed, and I can't wait to see how the war will develop, if Vera's vision will come true (what it means), and the development of each character, especially Tara's growth (as she comes into her own, as a leader, partner, lover?), and of course, who Tara will end up with.

Will it be Wes because she met him first? Because it was ALWAYS him from the beginning? Because of that magnetic pull, that thing called destiny? That irresistible attraction? Or because of his unwavering faith in her, his loyalty? Or will it be Alex, the steady hunter that makes her stomach flip? The one she shared that intimate moment with in the motel? The one that doesn't judge her, and is equally as protective of her, and trusting of her, the one who loves her strength?? Or, will it be George? Okay, I admit, I don't really see this happening, but still, anything is possible, right? ;-) George, the steady one. The one she shares this emotional connection with, the one that has known her all her life. The dependable one. I mean, "Always" is the name of their song...

Guess we'll just have to see. I can't wait!!

Ever since first reading book 1 of this series, I fell in love with it. Everything from the writing, to the characters really grabbed me! I have the kindle edition, paperbacks and now the audio of them all ;), but I think the audios are by far the best!! Kelly Pruner really brings across Tara's sass and kick assness brilliantly!! She makes the world the author created come alive. Loved her narration!!!

Anyway, back to the story itself. So after the events of book 2, you'd think that Tara might get a break, but sadly not. The Hybrids are coming after her even worse than ever, Wes and Alex are posturing more then ever too, George is going to become a monster if Tara doesn't find a way to help him and Tara's wolf side seems to be emerging! How's a girl to deal with this as well as CHAS and the Hunters?

I don't even know where to start with this book. It. Was. Phenomenal!!!!The books just keep getting better and better but the author really stepped up her game with this one. Right from the start, we are brought on one heck of a ride! There is so much going on and so many twists and turns, that it's impossible to put down. I absolutely devoured it!!! We get some answers but we also get more questions added!. The whole book just blew me away.

Character wise, these are some of my favourites! Tara is such a kick ass and strong character, but during this one we see a more vulnerable side. She feels her wolf side getting stronger but is terrified to let it loose in case she becomes a monster. She struggles with it and it really made her grow as a character. Poor George! His wolf is getting stronger and he knows that if it emerges, he will become a savage, unreasonable monster. Tara is the only one who can save him, but at what cost? Wes is as awesome as always! He is the perfect swoon worthy hero! All he wants is the best for Tara and will help her as much as he can. Alex, meanwhile is still awesome, but he definitely is holding something back. I really can't wait to find out his secrets!!!!

In all, this is a brilliant addition to an all ready amazing series!!! I really can't recommend these books enough. They have everything a great read should, action, adventure, romance (but not a sickeningly sweet one), amazing characters and an author that knows how to tell a story. If you haven't tried this series, then you are missing out!! Seriously, go try it!! The first book is free!!!!

For whatever reasons, I thought the DIRTY BLOOD books were a trilogy, so I was expecting BLOOD BOND to wrap up a bunch of things, to get everything settled, and Tara could have her Happily Ever After with whichever boy won her heart.

Boy was I wrong! LOL

This book was amazing! I couldn't stop turning the pages and when I couldn't read it, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Even now, eight hours after finishing the book, I'm still thinking about it, wondering what will happen next in the series. Of course, part of this is due to the major cliffhanger it ends with. And while I was shocked and upset by that at first, now I just want the next book to be out so I can see the outcome of that cliffhanger.

Heather Hildenbrand has a way of writing that grabs you from the beginning, pulls you in and has you running through until the very end. With all three books of the DIRTY BLOOD books so far, I haven't been able to put them down, look away or stop thinking about them when they're done. BLOOD BOND added some new twists and turns to the overall plot, gave answers to questions that had been asked up to this point, and did it all in a way that's gripping, action-packed and inviting. Of course, many more questions were left unanswered. ;)

I've really enjoyed Tara growing into herself, in this book especially. Tara has finally come to accept exactly what she is and has taken charge of that part of her life. After everything she's been through, all the confusion and heartache, I was extremely happy to see her do this. It makes me think the next book in the series will be THAT MUCH BETTER due to Tara's growth.

If you're looking for an awesome YA Paranormal read, pick this series up. If you're looking for hot werewolves, action and adventure, this is the series for you. This series has quickly made its way to near the top of my list of favorite books.

Ever have a book that you sit and sit and try to think of words to describe how you feel about them but nothing can really explain it right. Blood Bond is one of those books for me. And its because it was freaking fantastic that every time I try to think of what to say all these thoughts going running threw my head that I can't even get them out right.

If you have read Dirty Blood and Cold Blood you are for a crazy amazing awesomesauce ride in Blood Bond. Heather has out done herself in this book. Its an intense read and once you start it you are not going to be able to stop. And at some points you think you can see where the story is going and how its all playing out but the BAM out of nowhere we are thrown a curve ball and it just goes a whole new way.

There is so much that happens in this book that I can't even scratch the surface of it in a review. As soon as I started this book I knew I had to finish it. And once I finished it I wanted to kick myself for reading it so fast. Now I am desperately waiting to get my hands on the next book. And I can't even talk about the whole Alex and Wes thing or else you will know exactly what happens. So lets just say I am still Team Alex all the way!!

And if you haven't started this series, then you are missing out!! I suggest you go and get a copy now.

I am speechless. I have just finished this book and it was the ultimate cliffhanger! How could you do that to me Heather? LOL, but no joke this book was fascinating.

I love the fact that Wes is back in the picture as he is my favorite sexy werewolf. He and Tara seem stronger and happier than before which I am really happy about.

Then there's George, oh and Alex. It is no longer a triangle. Why does Tara get all the guys? Because she is awesome that's why. Who wouldn't want a kick ass half were in their corner?

The plot to this book was great. It was a gripping read all the way down to that very last page. I loved how all the characters finally mesh together in this book. The hybrid idea was a great plot based on what the original story started off about.

At last, I am already ready for book four. Heather, hurry up and write an amazing follow up! I will be counting the days to find out what happened. I give this creative book five glittery stars! If you haven't yet, check out this series, it rocks:)

I simply loved this book. It took me for an amazing ride and I have to admit, I was floored by one of the turns of events. I really did not see it coming and I love that in a book. This may be the best of the series so far. Tara and Wes really comes into her own in this book. Tara begins to understand what it really means to be a hybrid and Wes begins to become the leader he was destined to believe. As seems to be a trend with me lately, I so love the grandmother best. I must be getting old hehehe.

This book would probably not make near as much sense if you have not read the first two books. They are great reads! If you have read the first two and liked them, you will most likely love this book! I was lucky to be given a copy of this book.

OMG! I can't believe all what happened in this novel. It was crazy and the ending has me wanting installment number four, right now! I mean how could Alex betray them all. It was scary and I hope Alex makes it, he is a favorite of mine. I can't wait to see where the author takes the next novel.

Well the last book left us with wanting to learn more about the Hybrids and why they wanted Tara. This book does not disappoint as we learn why the Hybrids want Tara and what will happen.
Tara is home for the summer and of course it is not the ordinary summer every teenage girl would have. The hybrids come after Tara on multiple occasions. They finally give her the ultimatum to either turn herself and Cord in or they will kill all of her friends and family. Of course knowing how Tara is, she turns herself over and so does Cord.
Who is behind all of this you might ask? Well it is Olivia, Miles mother and she wants revenge from Miles death. While she tortures Cord, she makes Tara give the hybrids her blood so they also become hybrids. Little does Olivia know, but all the Hybrids have a new leader once Tara’s blood gets worked into their system. The hybrids now have the same connection as Tara has with George. She know has her own army of hybrids.
This was a great flip to the story. I really love that everything flows together so well throughout the books. I just keep falling more and more in love with this series every time I read another book. I would have liked to see more of the connection with Alex and Tara, but I guess that is difficult with Wes being right there. I am interested to see what happens with Alex now that he has been bitten by Tara and then injected with her blood. Is he now a hybrid as well? If so, will that be what makes him hate her since everything he stands for is against wolves? I am diving right into the next book to find out!

Book 3 in this series. I didn’t care for the last book; too much mean girl bull, but this one was a bit better; there’s still mean girl bull, but at least it wasn’t so much of the book like with book 2. Not a fan that the mean girl gets no repercussions for being a horrible person though; disappointed in Logan, and I still can’t stand Tara’s friend, Cambria, so I wasn’t excited she’s along for the ride in this book. Tara is done with her time at the Hunter Academy, so she heads home with Cambria in tow. Tara is dealing with George having been given some type of shifter serum, and there’s new bad guys hating on her, so she and her group are trying to plan a way to survive. Liked that there’s a bit of road trip to help out George; liked the scientist guy. Tara’s whining about not wanting to be the special one or shift into a wolf was annoying; especially when she’s friends with people that shift and they are totally fine people, so I found that a bit rude of her to be so opposed. Still not a huge fan of Tara; she doesn’t catch on to anything; she needs everything explained to her in the simplest terms. Still not a fan that Tara gets all hot and bothered by Alex, who isn’t her boyfriend. Wes is a nice guy and understanding; he’s likable. This series is light on the emotional impact and a bit too teenager for me, but there’s some entertaining ideas. Despite not loving this, I have the next book already, so I’ll continue on.

This chapter of the story brings Tara closer to the animal she carries within her as she discovers she is being hunted by the new hybrids. They aren't only hunter/wolf hybrids anymore but human/wolf too, and they answer to someone she detests. And when George shows up to see her with Miles, something he thought would be a simple visit to his best friend, he ends up being injected with the wolf serum, and Tara may be the only one who can save him. Alex makes his feelings obvious to her, but he hold secrets too, and she is unsure whether she can trust him or not. Wes remains her steady rock, supportive and protective, but even he steps over a line she never thought he would cross. Tara has to make a choice, but with the war being waged between the wolves and the hunters with the hybrids in between, will her friends and the males she depends on be able to save her from not only Miles but the threats that come after?

This story was non-stop action, and I found myself more mesmerized each moment. I empathized with Tara as she was torn by the people and the secrets in her life. I rooted for her but wanted to shake her at the same time for the way she pushed forward sometimes without thought. I loved the secondary characters just as much as the heroine and read until the wee hours of the morning because I wanted to know what happened next. I can't wait to get into the next book.

Lots of questions at the end.

Big question how did Tara not go crazy when all those bonded hybrids died? Astor did when his love died. Physically she felt them die. She felt their emotions. And even though she didn't know them it said she felt their.losses like a real pack member. I must say I love uncle Astor & think Tara was too hard on him at times. Poor mans been through hell and his own community turned against him. Corrupt bureaucrats! Plus Pastor's house and the grounds sound like paradise in the desert. I am super scared of Grandma & Fee after this book. I had no idea Fee could be scary. I'm glad Alex didn't try anything with Tara while training her at her house. I never really liked him. Remember that as you read this book. Just saying Alex betrays the Cause big time. I think he wanted to be the one to ride in like a knight in shinning armour. In his head he probably thought she'd appreciate the fact that he kept her loved ones from even fighting. Plus it would make Alex look good when CHAS found out all the hybrids were killed like they wanted. That would have backfield for him to though because Tara would feel betrayed because he was supposed to keep them alive. Angela & Sam find out about Tara's new world when they are used to threaten Tara. So after they see everything they are let in on the secret.

Til Death Do Us Part?

•••NOT for the homophobic, transphobic, closedminded, or faint of heart!•••

This series must be read in order. The first book is "Dirty Blood". The second book is "Cold Blood. This is the third book. I can't wait to read "Blood Rule"!

Having survived the rest of the year at Wood Point Academy , Tara decided to take Cambria home with her for the summer. All they have yet to do is survive a school dance and graduation. What could possibly wrong? Well her human ex George, is a Werewolf now and she has no idea how to save him, so she is going to have to find Astor on her own. She can't trust Miles that her blood is the key... Right? With time running out for George, before he becomes an animalistic feral Werewolf, she has to do something! Maybe Astor can help? Or maybe she should just give him her blood? Can she figure out how to save George before it is too late?

Cannot put this series down!

Holy werewolves! The first three books are amazing! If you're in to hunters and shifters, this series is for you! Heather brings so many things to life and even through all the "I will kill you before you kill me" there is a romance between Tara and Wes. She's saved the hybrids, hears them in her head and still manages to love her werewolf boyfriend.
Make sure you read the first book dirty blood! So much excitement you can't put any of these books down! I am soooo ready to read more! Thank you Heather for including me in your journey of all of these characters. ☺

I love the world Ms Hildenbrand build for the Dirty Blood series!

I read the first two, so this was the first one I listened to. At first, I found the narrator a bit forceful, but I soon got used to her style. Her different voice, particularly for the female characters, were amazing and diverse!

The story itself is pretty intense and while it only covers a short period of time, a lot happens.

It was great to revisit familiar characters and fun to meet new ones. It was also pretty cool to hear some of the science behind everything.

I can’t wait to listen to the last book!

Phew. Even the third book of the series didn't disappoint. Tara returns home for the summer, taking Cambria with her. George is going to Jack and Fee until they find out how to help him. Tara tries to find out if the hint Miles gave about her blood being the cure is true with finding out more about Astor. A dangerous journey begins for Tara and George with hybrids coming after them regularly. Lots of other surprises in this story, some you might have waited for, others simply stunning.

Exciting Up To The Last Page

I really think this third book should be a 4.5 star just for the "on the edge of your seat" excitement. It was action packed just about from start to finish. There was even a road trip for Tara and George. All the usual characters are in this book, plus a couple of extras. We get to meet Astor DeLuca and Olivia, Astor being my favorite of the two. There are a couple of surprises too.

Overall, definitely worth the time to read. This book picks up from where the second left off. Once you start reading, it will be hard to put down. You are in for a darn good ride. I'll be reading the next book. It will be interesting if Astor makes another appearance. And what will happen to Alex?

We have learned what Tera's blood can do for her friend George who was injected with the hybrid formula. Cord and Tera have a hell of a battle in this one and a lot will change between Tera and her human friends. Alex made a bad choice that almost ended everything for Tera and Cord luckily her them something amazing finally happen and Tera was able to save them both. Let's just hope that what Tera has done doesn't end what she has with Wes.

Ugh. I’m getting tired of so many things. The back and forth with the different boys. The whole my mom doesn’t support this so let’s keep things secret. The lack of ability from anyone to figure out the hybrids. The refusing to shift to a wolf even though she’s half of one and doesn’t want to tell anyone. All so unnecessary. Just keeps going and going through each book. Not even sure if I’m going to keep reading....

I received a copy of the audio book from the author in exchange for my honest review

3.5 stars
Well a lot happened in the 3rd book. New characters and bonds that can't be broken. Tarah has been tested in so many ways, with her trust, relationship, with the pack. The deception from someone she cares about. I would definitely say this book was more interesting to me than the other two books. I look forward to finding out what happens next.

I listened to this book on my audiobook and I was so happy with the content. I love supernatural books and movies mostly with werewolves involved. I loved this way this author told this entire story but the end has me on the edge of my seat because I now have to see if there is another book since I was able to read these 4 books in the series. I cant wait to see what will happen next if anything will. I don't want to spill what the story is about but it is a great read.

Outstanding story - struggles for anyone involved

The characters are each an individual with their own strifes. Sometimes, I have to walk away from the book because it sometimes gets weighted down with too many emotions. I play a mindless game and come back to the story. There are so many little stories to get back to the main story. I love it, the whole series. You are by far an amazing writer with a very gifted imagination. Can’t wait for book 4.

Excellent read

Told from Taras POV; I really enjoyed this book but its definately a love triangle which I hate. Tara is definately leading Alex on as though he has a chance when technically Wes is suppose to be her soul mate. However, she realises at the end that Alex is a hunter at heart and always will be. So she finally picks a side. Hopefully no more of the hated love triangle. Highly recommended.
