Exceptional instructional manual illustrated with paper pieced blocks organized by category. CD has the templates and fabric suggestions. Exceptional, especially that the install utility on the CD doesn't work with newer OS, but Doak's website has a workaround so the files are still available. THANK YOU!!!

Liking it more for the plethora of pictures and blocking ideas more than the instruction. I borrowed this from my mom, and the block I'd use, I'm modifying to suit my needs. From the ideas, I can see why my mom really enjoys Carol Doak's books.

cD for patterns are included in the back of the book.
THE foundation patterns for 300 paper piecing blocks are included in this book. The block sizes are 3 and 4 inches are provided. Some of the patches are to be used as mirror images to make larger blocks. Some blocks are to be used individually. I frequently used the alphabet and number blocks to add words to my quilts, especially the labels. There are different style of blocks from simplistic to elegant. If you like paper piecing you are sure to find some blocks that you can use. I found many of them great for kiddy projects.
