Savannah Grey has mastered survival. Her heart is locked behind walls nobody has ever dared to climb. Life hasn’t been kind to her - but she’s learned to live with it.
Archie Bennett is the golden boy. Basketball captain. Charming. Confident. He has his whole future set out for him, and that’s never been questioned. But looks can be deceiving, and Archie has demons of his own - ones that don’t show up under the lights of the stadium.
When their worlds collide, sparks fly.
But Savannah isn’t looking to be saved. And Archie isn’t used to being pushed away.
When secrets come out and new truths are revealed, will she let him see the parts of her she’s never dared to show?
Very and I mean very similar to boys of tommen that i found it like I was reading the same books in a different font. Overall I wish the book was longer and more context and depth was given into sav and Archie And more work on savs family and her issues And omg the cliff hanger like…
I enjoyed this book, but I was constantly thinking of all of the similarities between the Hearts of Ridgewood and the Boys of Tommen. Many of the storylines were the same as well as characters and their dynamics. I liked the twist about Marley and the uniqueness of that, but still, it was almost identical and predictable. I hate to write a review that when I read it back sounds so negative, but if the author does read this and hasn't realised the similarities then maybe they can amend this in the upcoming books. It was a good read and I'm willing to continue the series so I do recommend this book!
The author does not provide enough context for these two to be so in love. I’m also not sure how you can say this is your own work when it is 95% of the same plot as BOT, change a few names and the settings and it’s somehow original??
Way to many similarity’s to boys of tommon, kinda felt like fan fiction of that series but the main characters were way to in love to fast and with no context, the cliff hanger might convince me to read the second book.
Similar to Boys of Tommen and Addicted series which I appreciated. Loved all of the characters and storylines. Definitely excited to read more if the author continues.
this REALLY reminded my of Boys of Tommen but it was still really good. Really excited to read the rest of the series and see what the author does with the characters!!
