I love this book. Maybe you need to have a Jewish/Western Buddhist background to get the jokes? I was so sad to see so few reviews. It is one of those books I will keep on my shelves. Funny, bittersweet, clever and a great read for the High Holiday season.

3.5 This book grew on me. It started as a lightweight diversion, but the ending gave it some heft and left me very satisfied.
