Well it took long enough! I finally finished this book today on my way to chef class. That's a huge relief to have it over with.

This is one of those books that has no characters or plot and is all really just a bunch of gathered quotes relating to the end of the world.

Now this book was published in 1999, so the end of the world that all these qoutes are referencing are for the impending Y2K.

Now as we all know, Y2K was just another false prediction of the earth's end. Now the big one is December 21, 2012. Will it happen? I have no idea and I'm going to carry on everyday pretending that I have no clue. That is why we live on today right? I we know the world is going to end someday, then why are we bothering to get educations and jobs, and getting hitched and having a family... it's all pointless. Not really.

Who cares when the world will end. I'm still living right up to the exact second that I am not.
Now if the world does end in 2012, I will be disappointed. I'd be 20 and probably still be in college.
If I died in 2012 I would have died without being married, or expirinced my first kiss. I'd die a virgin and never get the thrill (and terror) of being a parent. I'd die young, (So I must be good right?) I would be single all my life and only have my secret crushes and best friends.

But all of this is in the future that will be more than a year away.

If 2012 doesn't happen, I'll keep living until I'm not.
