She’s stranded on a mountain. He’s only taking her in for the night, or so he thought…
Sadie isn’t supposed to be here, on my mountain. My sanctuary. When I find her in a rather compromising position in the woods lining my property, I have no choice but to take her in. Just for the night. She’s clearly out of her element, what with her high heels and pencil skirt.
One night turns into two and I find myself drawn to the curvy woman, despite our age gap. Her bright smile and relentless positivity is in direct contrast to my own surly darkness but I can’t stay away. Sadie makes me feel alive for the first time in decades. However, I don’t trust easily and something tells me my little Sadie has a secret.
Is our connection strong enough to overcome the obstacles headed our way? Will I always be alone, or can I learn how to love before it’s too late?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Grumpy Mountain Man + Sunshine in Heels = Perfect Storm of Swoon
If you love grumpy/sunshine, instalove, and protective mountain men, this quick and steamy romance delivers all the feels. Sadie might not have planned to get stranded on Cutter’s mountain, but fate clearly had other plans—and I’m so glad it did.
Cutter is everything I love in a romance hero: broody, rugged, set in his ways… until Sadie crashes into his quiet world, full of sass, curves, and light. Their chemistry is instant, but the emotional connection grows quickly and believably, even in the short page count.
Despite the insta-lust, there’s surprising depth—both characters carry past wounds and secrets that keep you turning the pages. The age gap is handled sweetly, with Sadie’s optimism softening Cutter’s rough edges while never feeling forced.
Fast-paced, fun, and full of heart, Heart of the Mountain is a feel-good escape with spice and sweetness in equal measure.
Tropes: • Grumpy/Sunshine • Age Gap • Forced Proximity • Instalove • Curvy Heroine • Mountain Man
Perfect for fans of short, swoony reads with heat and heart. 🖤.

Sadie works for Top Spot Realty and she has been sent to learn more about Hope Mountain and to figure out what would be the best areas to buy, and to especially get Cutter Morgan to sell. Sadie’s boss, Cindy and the other partners are pieces of work- they want to renovate the ‘forgotten’ town and bring tourism there. Sadie gets lost on the way to Cutter’s house and land and gets hurt, and Cutter finds and ‘rescues’ her. However, since they are attracted to each other, Sadie doesn’t tell him who she works for and he rants about how much the Realty place would destroy the town, etc.
Sadie has hurt her ankle and finding out about their pasts broke my heart. I cried, laughed, ranted, needed the AC on high for the steam factor. The book was also romantic and of course, he finds out at the worst possible moment who she works for. Things go to heck after that, and he realizes who and what she is to him. I love how everything gets resolved and how there are two more romances brewing. lol. I can’t wait to read them.

She is supposed to be researching the little town for her employer who wants to make it the next tourist attraction. She gets lost on the mountain, completely turned around and falls down a hill, while ripping her blouse off. He comes to her rescue. He is a big hulking mountain man who has sworn off developers and most other people. There is something about the vulnerable woman that calls to him. When he gets her back to his cabin, he is even more attracted to her, her sweetness, her innocence and her strength despite the shadows of past trauma he sees in her eyes. This is a sweet redemption story for both of them. She never really belonged anywhere, and he lost the one place he felt he belonged, now they find home in each other. They definitely get steamy, very steamy for a short story format. I feel the character development, the spice and the plotline were all really well balanced. A fun quickie for a happily ever after and don't miss the bonus epilogue.

This is book number 1 of the Curves of Hope Mountain and focuses on Cutter and Sadie. Sadie grew up in foster care which caused her childhood to be anything but stable. She is fairly new to her job when she is sent to Hope Mountain to scope out Cutter's property. Things don't go according to plans and Sadie ends up injured with Cutter taking care of her. Cutter and Sadie both feel the undeniable pull towards each other and end up falling for each other hard. When Sadie's job comes knocking, Cutter has to decide what is the most important thing to him. This was a great story and a great start to the series.

Heart of the Mountain is filled with steam, sweetness, and vulnerability. I adored Cutter, from his grumpy persona to his heart of gold. Carrying emotional trauma from past hurts, watching him blossom with Sadie is heartwarming and so beautiful. Sadie comes from a rough place of her own and has chosen to take the path of positivity no matter what life throws her way. Strong, resilient, brave, and bold, she is a dynamic woman who is finding herself and her path in life. The way these two meet is absolutely gripping, and their burgeoning love takes flight with magic and mayhem. The supporting characters are intriguing, and I can’t wait to read their stories as well.

Cameron turned up the spice for this one!!! I enjoyed this novella a lot. We got to see a classic Cameron love story but she upped the spice, which I'm here for! Cutter doesn't want anyone on his property. He has no interest in selling so any realtor needs to stay away. Apparently Sadie didn't get the memo. She comes onto his land and she's a realtor. Cutter is only letting her stay one night...but that quickly changes when Sadie brings out a side to him that he thought was gone forever. As the days go, it becomes harder and harder for Sadie to be completely honest with Cutter. Can she tell him the truth in time? How will he react when he finds out? 5⭐ 4🌶
Heart of the Mountain by Cameron Hart is part of Curves in Hope Mountain Series. It is about a growly, grumpy, self-sufficient, Mountain Man (who is lonely) with a huge protective streak and a curvy, caring, sunshiney-attitude, woman from a small town/city (who is also alone & lonely). Sadie is out of her depth trying to do an illegal property assessment on Cutter's homestead & mountain. Their story has insta-lust-to-love, some drama, fish-out-of-water themes, humor (when Cutter hides from Sadie & she sees his toes 🤣), *a lot* of ṣëxƴ times 😏 and Cutter saves Sadie two times! A fun 'n ṣpïcƴ read! ❤️
Sadie is on Cutter's mountain doing a property assessment, and Cutter isn't too happy about it. When she gets injured, he goes into protective mode and things take a falling for each other turn. This story pulled at my heartstrings because both characters have been through a lot in their lives, and finding each other was the healing they both needed. The writing is well done, the characters are well developed, and they had me cheering them on to get their happily ever after. Heart of the Mountain is book one and a fabulous start to the Curves in Hope Mountain series. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
This is the first book in Curves in Hope Valley series. Tropes:age gap, grief, forced proximity, hidden identity, and innocent FMC. Sadie was absolutely adorable. She had a tough life but fought through to make her life better. Cutter was a reclusive mountain man hiding out in the mountains to deal with grief and guilt. I loved Sadie and Cutter. Both have trauma but made each other feel safe. Great start to the series. Can't wait for the next book.

Sadie is sent on a scouting assignment and ends up being saved by a growly closed off mountain man. Cutter finds himself with feelings he thought he had long lost when Sadie drops into his life. Heartfelt storyline with a bit of angst and a whole lot of love. I loved how Sadie was so wise from her past in how to help Cutter heal. As always Cameron gives a quality read with the perfect blend of spice, humor, and heart. Can’t wait for the next!

Cutter and Sadie's story was great! I loved these two together. Cutter is protective, broody and Sadie is opposite, being light and sassy. These two fall hard and fast for each other but due to their past issues they both try to fight their feelings, which does not last long. Cutter and Sadie are able to let their hearts on the line and get an HEA they both deserve. These is a great start to a new series and I can't wait for more.

Sadie works for Top Spot Realty is sent to Hope Mountain by her boss. Cutter enjoys his isolation and wants no one on his property. Things to do not go as planned and Sadie end up in a ravine, covered in leaves in dirt when he finds her. He lets her stay for the night and finds himself drawn the fiery red head.
As the chemistry increases between them, Sadie has a secret that could change every thing. This a sweet and steamy read.

Sadie is sent by her boss to do a property assessment. Of a very rural property. Cutter is an intensely private mountain man harboring guilt. Tropes: Mountain man, curvy heroine, grumpy/ sunshine, forced proximity, HEA romance, protective alpha hero, steamy, sweet, age-gap, foster system, damsel in distress, virgin.
A special thank you to Cameron Hart and Booksprout for providing me with an eARC book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Cameron Hart is one of my “one-click” authors. I do not need to read the blurb, or reviews of one of her books because I know it will be good! And Heart of the Mountain was another masterpiece! From start to finish, the story kept me wanting to read more!! I read it in one sitting, I could not put it down!!! Especially when you know the secret Sadie is carrying. And wondering if Cutter and Sadie can get their happily ever after.
These two went together so well, they had such connection and chemistry and brought out so much in each other. I liked seeing them come together, get to know each other and opening up to one another. I'm interested in seeing where this series is going to go, to see what stories other characters in this have to tell.

As much as I love reading Cameron Harts book and enjoyed this one as well. There were so many parts that were from her other books especially the ending, almost like she took the script and changed names and a few other things around. I will continue to read her books because I do enjoy them but original wording would be nice. This just felt like she needed to put something out there. Still worth reading though.
A very steamy story about two hurting souls finding solace in one another and forging a bond that neither wants to end. It's grumpy/sunshine with troubled pasts for both of them and lots of healing in one another's arms while keeping some major secrets still hidden. Thankfully all works out in the end for this couple.

Sadie comes to Hope Mountain to acquire real estate for a developer. She begins at Cutter's place, which is in the boondocks; even the taxi driver refuses to drive on his property. Needless to say, Cutter has to rescue Sadie. Then the excitement begins. Cutter and Sadie make a great team, and she learns that not every community wants more tourists. A steamy, fun read with a fantastic HEA.

Cutter and Sadie are great together. She’s a chatty girl and he’s a silent giant. When Cutter rescues Sadie the attraction is instant. Their chemistry is off the charts. When Cutter finds out the Sadie works for the real estate company trying to purchase his land, he sends her packing. Only Cutter realizes he overreacted and should have heard her out. Now he has to race down the mountain to get his girl. Great story!
This very well written age gap/forced proximity romance was a very enjoyable read! Sadie and Cutter are total opposites and after Cutter saves her and takes her to his cabin, they slowly overcome their differences. Eventually Sadie's secrets are revealed! The story is full of drama, angst, romance and a few steamy scenes. Well worth the read!.

This was definitely a quick read instalove but I really enjoyed the story. Between complicated pasts and some seriously suspenseful moments. This book made it hard not to quickly devour. I love that it also made connections to other books so you know you can keep storylines going even after you get done with this one. I love that because I enjoy getting more about random characters.
This story starts off with a bang with great dialogue and the story only gets better as it goes along. The characters are flawed but so perfect especially for each other. The storyline is filled with humor, heartbreak and love. Great read!.

She stumbles in his world unexpectedly and stays forever.
Sadie, full of sunshine, warmth and words meets Cutter, growly, reclusive and with a heartbreaking past. They connect, talk, open up, heal, but things get revealed, feelings get hurt and words are said.

This was a really cute mountain man romance. It was a short story with a good flow. The storyline was entertaining and had some emotional moments and a lot of steam. Sadie and Cutter had a strong connection from the beginning and their chemistry was fantastic.
Sadie works for a realty company that wants the land Cutter owns and lives on. Cutter helps Sadie when she comes into trouble on his land. They both feel a spark but Sadie is still hiding the real reason she was on Cutter’s land when they met. Once he finds out Cuutter feels hurt and doesn’t let Sadie explain. However Cutter realises Sadie is his forever so he goes after her.

Sadie and Cutter have a whirlwind romance. They meet while Sadie gets lost in Cutter's mountain, and their connection develops quickly. Their story is filled with emotion and spice. I liked them together.
After reading this book you might need the dentist as it was so sweet! Love the grumpy/sunshine troupe. Both Cutter and Sadie had their own pasts to deal with but they are both so strong especially Sadie. Absolutely loved this book!
