Betting on the Crease

When a high-stakes bet goes wrong, Delilah Lundberg finds herself sleeping in the bed of the enemy. Okay. So maybe he’s not the enemy. But Cas McCullough, an NHL goaltender fresh off a championship win, sure is frustrating. Not to mention he’s arrogant, relentless, and too hot for his own good—the exact type of man Delilah’s sworn to avoid. And yet her draw to him is magnetic.

As she navigates another summer of career setbacks and family dramas, spending the night in a hockey player’s bed becomes a welcome escape. For the first time in her life, she has room to breathe, look inward, and ask herself, what if there’s another path to my dreams? A path and a dream that is not supposed to involve Cas McCullough…right?

Fighting her unwanted feelings for a hockey stud proves to be more difficult than she could have imagined when Cas’s best friend, secret-keeping writer Flynn Baker, enters the scene. Broody. Mysterious. Flynn is the complete opposite of his bestie. But when he saves Delilah from a night of nightmares, Flynn unknowingly binds the three of them together in a way that turns their worlds upside down.

A small town girl’s future is starting to look a whole lot more complicated.
