What if the soul could be programmed? What if ancient wisdom held the key to defeating modern mind control?
In Birds of Destiny, Madhava Kumar Turumella delivers a gripping metaphysical thriller where spiritual destiny, political intrigue, and interdimensional science collide.
Siddhanta Sarma, a priest, philosopher, and reluctant visionary, becomes entangled in a secret war that spans continents and timelines. From the sacred temples of South India to the intelligence corridors of Riyadh and Karachi, Sarma faces forces that are far more dangerous than physical enemies-forces that manipulate memories, hijack thoughts, and erase free will.
At the heart of this conspiracy is a terrifying piece of COMxBAT, a suitcase-sized device capable of reading and rewriting human brainwaves. As geopolitical tensions rise and faith systems are weaponised, Sarma must uncover not just hidden enemies-but also forgotten lifetimes and cosmic truths buried within himself.
Blending Hindu metaphysics, Islamic eschatology, and science fiction, Birds of Destiny is a genre-defying narrative that explores the meaning of consciousness, karma, and liberation.
The novel is a continuation of the critically praised Riddles of Destiny, but stands strong as a compelling, stand-alone journey. With themes of reincarnation, interfaith tensions, mind control, and metaphysical awakening, it speaks to readers seeking more than just a thriller-it offers a spiritual blueprint for awakening in an age of control.
For fans of Dan Brown, Deepak Chopra, and Philip K. Dick, this book invites readers to question what it means to be human-and what forces truly govern our fate.
Are we the creators of our destiny-or the victims of a cosmic design we've forgotten?

On a personal level, this book made me stop and think about how much control we actually have over our lives. I liked how the story mixes modern science with ancient beliefs and how the main character’s emotional journey connects with real-life questions about faith, destiny, and love. The emotional parts of Siddhanta’s story especially his relationship with his soulmate and his inner struggle made the book feel real and relatable.

Birds of Destiny is the second book after Riddles of Destiny. The story follows Siddhanta Sarma, a priest who worships the sun, and Gorak Aghora, a wise man from the secret Aghori group. Together, they face new problems where ancient wisdom meets modern science.
In this book, the world is in danger because of powerful machines like COMxBAT, which can control people’s minds. The main villain, Lucian Wrathborne, uses this technology to control others ,create confusion and making it a national threat. Sarma and higher officials must stop him and protect the world, but it’s not easy because the line between what’s real and what’s controlled becomes hard to see.

Birds of Destiny, It's one of those rare & to be shelfed books that made me pause and think—even after the story ended. 🤯
Though it continues from Riddles of Destiny, you don’t need to read the first one to enjoy this✨. The author does a great job of bringing readers up to speed without losing the depth of the complexity.🧠
The reading follows Sarma, who finds himself in the middle of a complex battle—that blends spiritual mysteries with advanced technology.🧘♂️The idea of a device like COMxBAT, which can literally tap into change of brainwaves⚙️, is both fascinating and a bit terrifying. It really made me reflect on where humanity is headed and how much of our free will is truly ours.😶🌫️
What I loved most is that the book never felt heavy or confusing, even though it deals with some big complexity like memory and control💭. The pace is engaging but not rushed—also every chapter adds something meaningful📖. There’s a nice balance between action, emotion, and philosophy.

I just finished reading Birds of Destiny, and I have to say it really surprised me in the best way.
This is the second book after Riddles of Destiny, but you can read it without reading the first one. Still, I’d suggest reading both to fully enjoy the story. The book follows Siddhanta Sarma, a priest whose peaceful life is suddenly shaken. He gets pulled into a mission involving a powerful device called COMxBAT, which can record and control people’s emotions especially the negative ones. That idea alone had me hooked!
What I loved most is how the book mixes spiritual ideas with modern science. It’s fast-paced but never confusing. The writing is simple and easy to follow, even when the story gets deep and thoughtful.

This book is a sequel to The Riddles of Destiny, but it can be read as a standalone. You don’t need to read the first part to understand the story, though I preferred to read it as a series.
The story follows Siddhant Sarma, a sun-worshipping priest who is married to his soulmate, Kamala. However, circumstances force them apart. Meanwhile, top officials call him on a mission to counter a threat called COMxBAT—a device that controls the human mind. The villain uses this device to manipulate others, create confusion, and disrupt national peace. It becomes a serious threat, and Sarma, along with higher officials, must eliminate it. But the mission isn’t easy, as the lines between reality and controlled illusion begin to blur.
The story is beautifully written. The author’s writing style is impeccable, seamlessly blending science with spiritual ideas. What I loved most about this book is that, despite the complex themes, it doesn’t feel heavy—it’s easy to read and incredibly engaging. I was hooked from the very beginning.
One of the best book I've read so far. Despite being a continuation, this book can be read as a standalone. The author has beautifully developed the characters which makes it easy for the readers to follow the story and understand what's happening. Madhava Kumar Turumella weaves a story that is both exciting and deeply philosophical. Revolving around the main character, Siddhanta Sarma, whom we have already met in the previous book, this book explore technology and spiritual topics. The author has also mentioned about COMxBAT, which is a powerful device that can access and alter brainwaves.
The danger Sarma faces isn’t just physical—he’s up against forces that can rewrite memories and erase free will. As you follow Siddhanta, the story turns out more intense and amazing. I loved how the author has managed to keep everything so precised and simple, without making the book turn extra lengthy. The writing style is simple yet powerful, making complex themes accessible. I would definitely recommend this book to every individual who are looking for something worth it to explore.
This is the sequel to the book "Riddles of Destiny" they can be read as a standalone but better enjoyed as a series.
The story follows Sarma, a sun-worshipping priest who is now married to his soulmate. But the situation forces them apart. Sarma tries reaching out to her in the USA. Meanwhile, he is called for a mission by top officials against a threatening device called COM×BAT, recording and reproducing people's emotions ("like anger") using it for the end of the world.
This book is absolutely perfect. I completed this in one sitting. There's no dull moment, and each page pulls you into the story. The author’s writing is impeccable. The way he writes, blending CIE, ancient symbolism, modern technology, and emotions is really good. Many scenes and characters make you pause and think deeper. I can't wait for the next part. The whole story is so rich and well-researched. It had me completely hooked.
'Birds of Destiny' the story centers on the life of Sarma, a priest and ordinary computer teacher who marries his soulmate Kamla, but life takes a turn and they're separated. Sarma, heartbroken yet resolved to reach his love, joins the special forces; they're on a mission to search for a device, COMXBAT, which alters brainwaves and causes distress through the death of officials. Will they succeed in uncovering the secret of the lethal device?
Written in rich, lucid, and descriptive language with well-developed characters and an engaging storyline, this book is interesting and also provides insight from Indian epics. It's the sequel to 'Riddles of Destiny', but can be read as a standalone. The author has done a great job creating interesting characters, plot, and an amazing storyline. This book is a must-read.
I am really blown away by Birds of Destiny. To find artwork that combines ancient spiritualism and futuristic technology, and does both well, is quite an uncommon find. Siddhanta Sarma's experience is both thrilling and enlightening I could feel the weight of issues of memory, control, and destiny that were handled with that clarity. Madhava Kumar Turumella's words are intelligent, relatable, and easy to follow. You do not have to read Riddles of Destiny to enjoy this story, but now I will be compelled to do so.
I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys mytho-thrillers, sci-fi, or anyone looking for an alternative, yet deeply impactful, novel.
