Beyond Sight: The True Story of a Near-Death Experience

Rate this book
Synopsis:

Author Marion Rome almost died, and returned to tell the tale. And the story she brings us? There is so much less to fear in life – or death – than we think.

In this frank and compassionate account, we hear how death doesn’t really exist, it doesn’t take religion to get to ‘heaven’, and love is our ultimate purpose. We learn what it feels like to experience life as a soul freed of its bodily constraints, once more aware of our true place in the universe.

Her near-death experience has led Marion to transform her working life, and to put love first. She has also learned to forgive – herself, for times when she has lashed out or let people down, and those, even her own mother, who have hurt her badly in this physical realm.

Marion shares her NDE in detail, including her encounter with the super-loving souls that exist beyond our everyday senses, and invites you to join her in seeing beyond fear, guilt and blame to recognise the potential we all have to connect with universal love throughout our earthly lives.

Emotionally Perfect Journey

Marion, I applaud you. You managed to take your experience and probably changed many peoples lives. I am not a religious person but always thought, no KNEW that love was the answer to all. You made me feel what you felt. No better words were ever spoken about an experience like this. I believe you only saw and experienced the beginning or a snippet of the world that lies ahead of us after we perish. I almost don't fear it. That is how good you described it. I truly believe that you believe you had this experience. You cannot make this stuff up. Thank you for sharing. You have made me more aware of my surroundings and my actions and how they affect others. Thank you!

Review of a book about NDE

T h is book was interesting. I like reading books on NDE. In this this troubled world, I find comfort knowing we have a better place to go after this life. I agree with the author, that love is the one gift we are given. I believe I would recommend this book.

An interesting insight into her experience. Would have liked more background on the author so I could better understand the context of the changes in her life. Lots of emphasis on people who did her wrong.

For me, this short ebook ranked alongside Anita Moorjani's "Dying to be Me" as a highly convincing account of the Near Death Experience and the personal transformation which can follow.

Excellent story of what this woman experienced during her near-death experience.
I've read many narratives regarding NDE's and her story rings truer to me than most. I believe what she experienced and am grateful to her for telling her story. But now - my pet peeve with most Indie books listed on Amazon. Too many typos and grammatical errors. I do wish that Indie authors would have someone proofread their manuscripts prior to publishing on line. But with that said - I thoroughly enjoyed her book and give it a five-star rating.

This short book about a near death experience, transformed the authors way of thinking. I love her descriptions of the endless feeling of love and acceptance that she experienced, for those 7 min. on the other side. Another thing that I found refreshing was that it wasn't based on a religious experience, but just one of acceptance and understanding. It was amazing to hear about what she was able to experience while there.

The Truth is Told

I read this book in one sitting and it took about 3 hours. What Marion said is so true. I have read about this illusion before and didn't understand it, but I sure do now. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for what this life here and now has to offer.

Inspirational

Loved the story. It was credible and very inspirational. A different perspective than others NDEs. Not religious but spiritual. The idea of a different dimension makes sense. I believe you Marion.

Love is all you take with you when you die.

I don't agree with everything the author wrote. But this book reinforces that what I believe is true. Love is the only thing we take with us when we die. So love everyone while you are here. Brenda
