Oh man, Jude and Arden were way more than I was expecting. Jude and that extremely soft heart that beats only for Arden. He deserves to have his HEA and I don't think it could have happened any other way than with Arden and the pregnancy.
Arden is a tough shell to crack and Jude definitely had his work cut out for him. Her stubborn streak is a mile wide but I loved watching her soften up to Jude little by little. I was not expecting the situation with her mother to arise but in the end I think it made her double down on her resolve to be a great mom. I love the bond she forms with Jude's brother, Deacon. It may have taken her a hot minute to catch up to Jude in the feelings department but the wait was absolutely worth it.
Once again Ms. Hale gives readers a heartwarming story with plenty of feel good moments and hilarious conversations/situations between this large group of found family. While this series has now come to an end I cannot wait to see what she brings us next.
I absolutely loved this book even though I lost sleep because I couldn't put it down! Great characters and a feel-good story make it a perfect combination. I was enthralled from the first page! And to say Jude is every woman's dream is not an understatement!
Jude is the most patient and easy-going guy in the world. Arden has things from her childhood that she needs to deal with and when you add pregnancy hormones to the mix, she runs hot and cold. Jude takes it all in stride. I also love the relationship between Jude and his brother, Deacon; and then the relationship Deacon then has with Arden. Other relationships between the friends, gives true meaning to the term "chosen family" as opposed to "blood family". It just brings a smile to your face! It was so much fun to read, that I can't wait for Alexandra Hale's next book!
I absolutely loved this book! From the very first page, I was hooked. Arden and Jude’s story had me completely obsessed. the accidental pregnancy trope was done so perfectly, full of heart, humor, and all the emotions.
The friendships, the group chats, the teasing and support all of it made this story feel so warm and real. I adored seeing how everyone connects, how the found family keeps growing with each book, and how much heart this world has.
The chemistry, the banter, the emotions everything was done so perfectly. Alexandra Hale just knows how to write characters you instantly fall in love with.
Alexandra Hale continues to build a world that feels like home, and I already can’t wait to see what’s next.
Thank you to Luna Literary for letting me read this advanced copy, and to the author for being present and sharing her story.
I devoured this book in no time. It’s one of those reads that feels light, fun, and effortlessly engaging. It features one of my favorite tropes: accidental pregnancy (yes, the one that never fails). Jude is the sexiest, most patient, and tender man with that irresistible masculine edge while Arden is pure chaos, fire, and emotion. Together, they’re an explosion of intense feelings and moments that leave your heart racing. Arden carries deep emotional wounds, especially from her relationship with her mother and the absence of her father, while Jude learns to find calm, to give more of himself, and to reconnect with his brother.
What I loved most is that the main conflict isn’t something external or overly dramatic—it’s about untangling those emotional loose ends we all carry at some point. About how, little by little and with help, we start reconnecting with ourselves to finally build what we truly want: healthy relationships.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Heartfelt, emotional, and beautifully written!
This story completely stole my heart. From the very first page, I was hooked by the connection between Arden and the hero. Their chemistry is off the charts, but what really drew me in was the raw emotion — the pain, the healing, and the way they find solace in each other after so much loss.
I loved how the author captured small-town life — the sense of community, the whispers, the feeling of everyone knowing your business. It made the story feel so real and intimate. And the pregnancy twist? It added the perfect amount of tension and vulnerability.
The hero’s quiet strength and the way he protects Arden melted me, and her bravery in facing her past made her easy to root for. Together, they’re the definition of a second-chance love story done right.
If you love emotional, slow-burn small-town romances with a little bit of spice and a lot of heart, this book is one you won’t forget.
I thought I was going crazy, constantly checking if I missed a few chapters somehow.
They went from 0 to 100 immediately, with no build up whatsoever and it only got more confusing from there.
It truly felt like we were getting a cliff-notes version of a story, which made the main characters feel like a cardboard cutouts and not real people.
Absolutely everything was told, not shown. What happened to providing a backstory, so whatever happens can actually have an impact? What happened to the plot smoothly unraveling through the natural progression of the events?
I got a whiplash from all the arguments blowing up out of nowhere, only to get squashed in a few sentences and the action moving randomly to a next thing. There were some big words thrown in there, too, but they felt meaningless, since they were exactly that—thrown in there and did not come as a result of a plot.
The found family vibe and the banter in the group chats gave this book some substance and helped a bit, but overall this story fell surprisingly flat, like nothing I’d ever come to expect from Alexandra Hale.
Jude & Arden's story is unique but very relatable to alot of couples and I think that makes this book that much better! Arden grew up with a single mom & a dad who wasn't present due to him not knowing about her which causes some trauma as an adult when she forms a relationship with her half sister, becomes pregnant on accident & then her parents start DATING. Arden suffers through alot of really hard emotions in this book surrounding her parents, and her pregnancy. I love that this book touches very real scenarios that happen in alot of young couples' lives when it comes to parents accepting relationships or unplanned pregnancies. Although there are some big feelings, Arden & Ellison got to be pregnant together which i think is amazing 💖
Arden and Jude made me laugh, cry, hope, and hurt… sometimes all at the same time. Jude has such a strong patience that is beyond admirable and the love he has for his woman…wow. Arden really had some struggles thanks to her parents and trauma in the past but watching them figure things out for each other and for their baby was really sweet. So proud of her for choosing her, her baby, and her man and setting boundaries. I love a good surprise pregnancy trope and this one did not disappoint! It was such a good (and quick) read!!! (Also, the spice is not bad either! 😉🥵)
Additionally - I’m such a sucker for nicknames. I’m obsessed with him calling her Tennessee… I just freaking love Jude so much. 😍
Now I need Tanner and Deacon to get together… when is that book coming, Alexandra Hale???? 😎
✨ARC Review✨ Another fabulous Blackstone Falls book, surprise surprise. I have been patiently waiting for more of Arden and Jude and I am so happy that they are the ones who found each other. This book put me through some EMOTIONS just looking back on my first pregnancy and reactions everyone had. I absolutely adored this one.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Arden is struggling with her pass and her parents. Add pregnancy hormones in the mix, she all over the place. But oh does Jude step up and become her safe place. I love how he just sweeps her out of the car and holds her to comfort her. Jude isn’t afraid of a challenge. This quote from the book is a prefect example
“ I told you in the parking lot, I’m not afraid of your mood swings or anything else you wanna throw my way. You’re about to be my whole God damn personality, so the sooner you accept that the better we’ll both be.”
He even cooks for her! I love their nicknames, Tennessee and Country Rhode. Both perfect for them .
I love the whole series and this is a perfect ending to it . I love the group chats and how everyone supports each other and doesn’t leave anyone out . Found family is everything in these books .
I always fall hard and fast for Alexandra’s characters! And add in a surprise pregnancy and that’s my favorite trope! I loved Jude and Arden. Jude’s constant and steady presence was exactly what Arden needed and Jude just got it and it was beautiful and they were beautiful and I just loved this story so so much!
This book was such a great way to end this series. I love Jude and Arden so much. Jude definitely had his work cut out for him when it came to lowering her walls. But he was so patient and understanding and slowly was able to show her he really isn’t going anywhere.
If you like the accidental pregnancy, you will LOVE this book. Arden gets pregnant after a ONS with Jude basically right away. We get to see them navigate their relationship while also dealing with family issues and Arden second guesses every move. Jude never once faltered. He stood by her and supported her through EVERY SINGLE THING. I'm completely obsessed with him 😍😍
I understood Arden's concerns and struggles of not just wanting to be together because of the baby. She wanted to make sure their feelings were genuine and not clouded by what was going on.
I would have liked to had a spicy scene of the night she got pregnant though.. That part just felt a little rushed.
I loved this book for so many reasons. Getting to read this as an ARC was great!
The vulnerability that Arden shows regarding her upbringing and the fears she has about repeating the cycle is exactly how most of us feel when we enter into a relationship.
Jude ‘s response to the pregnancy and approaching Arden and showing her that he means exactly what he says is grounding for her. Their chemistry and banter is off the charts.
I also love how Alexandra makes the whole friend group apart of everything. It shows that found families are the best.
I cannot believe I am at the end of this fantastic series! But what a way to end it!!
Jude is a character who’s very easy to love. He is not fully prepared for what Arden will bring into his life, but I appreciate how he has reshaped his world for her. Yeah, it wasn’t so bad, since he wasn’t really enjoying life anyway! He is steadfast, kind, and passionate guy when he is with her, and perfect for the situation they are now facing.
It’s easier for Arden to ignore past heartbreak, and family issues than to confront them. It’s perfectly understandable and relatable. She is finally bonding with her half-sister Ellison, whom I adore (and if you don’t know her and Montana’s story, read it!). She did not expect Jude, or the strength of his feelings, and how it will alter their lives.
The author’s creativity truly excels in crafting the remarkable character connections, which I find to be the best part of the series. I wish this place and everyone in it were real! It’s simple to get caught up in their world and understand their emotions. I really enjoyed how things played out for Ellison and Arden, and I especially loved the supportive strength the guys provided Jude.
To fully enjoy this series and prevent spoilers, read it in order. Once you’re finished here, select another compelling book from this talented writer’s collection of engaging works and jump right in! I can’t wait to see what’s next!
I received an ARC (thank you), and happily leave my thoughts.
I have been fortunate and lucky enough to have been chosen as an arc reader for the fifth book of the series titled “Blackstone Falls” and I love coming back to this small town and being with this group of friends. I was lucky enough to be chosen to read Quietly Falling and I fell in love with Alexandra’s style of writing then and how amazing these characters are best friends with each other. Alexandra’s style of writing makes it feel like you are a part of this friend group and are caught up in their shenanigans 🤭
This is the story of Arden, who we know is half sister’s with Ellison through their dad. She ends up coming to Blackstone Falls in search of her father and finds out that she has a half-sister, which leaves her both excited and nervous and conflicted in emotions about her. She grew up as a single child with her mom, who was hopelessly in love with her father and never truly moved on from him. When Arden finally meets her father, she doesn't expect her parents to get back together after finding out that he is divorced from Ellison's mom. This sends her in a tailspin and she ends up visiting her favorite bar in town. Although it’s almost closing time, she knows that the grump running the bar, Jude, would make an exception and let her drink her sorrows away. When she tries to buy a bottle of whiskey from Jude, he rejects her and offers her to stay at the bar to drink. One thing leads to another 🤭 and Arden does her best to ignore him for the time being.
Being the town grump, owner of his father’s bar, Jude only has two goals in life, to run the town bar and stick to what he knows and to himself. He is a man of a few words, and doesn’t like talking to people which is ironic when he runs the town bar and everyone goes there 😂). When he sees Arden approach the bar, he knows better than to let her drink away her sorrows alone. He invites her to drink at the bar while he cleans up and one thing leads to another 🤭.... It’s been a while and he wishes he knew why Arden was ignoring him. Until he sees her again, briefly, at his bar but she runs out before he even has the chance to talk to her. His brother starts to worry about him and tells him he should adopt a dog so he doesn’t end up alone.
At the adoption center, his whole world changes and he realizes the moment he sees Arden throwing up in the garbage can, that she is pregnant with his child. Even before knowing that she was pregnant with his child, he already had feelings for her but never expressed them, fearing that she would reject him for his limp or for his age. However, Arden doesn’t care at all about any of those things and sees him for who he is, which warms Jude’s heart. This is the story of two people who don’t think they deserve the world and love, but in the end, end up finding it with the person they least expect it 🙂↕️❤️ These two were made for each other and having a surprise baby was just the cherry on top! ❤️😍
You need to read this if you want to experience the kind of love that sneaks up on you and changes everything about everything.
Arden has hit her stride, sort of. She's settled into her expanded family circle and friend group with an ease that at first surprised her but has now become the backbone of who she is. One wrinkle is her mother's reconnection with Arden's birth father. It's complicated for Arden and very understandably so. And in coping with that developing relationship and her career Arden seeks solace in the arms of the most unexpected man.
Jude is a military veteran who loves Blackstone Falls because it is a place he can be just himself. It is a place that gives him the opportunity to be in the background, live close to his brother, and build up the bar he owns. Jude is an observer. His quiet gets misconstrued as grumpy, but he's guarded. Life hasn't always been kind or easy to him and his brother. And when the opportunity presents itself to be the refuge for the girl, he takes it with no reservations.
Life comes at Arden and Jude really fast. Like two pink lines fast. Jude falls hard, he falls fast. He is resolute in his feelings for the caretaking of Arden and their baby. Jude is all in. Arden is as guarded as a bank vault. She's not keen on letting Jude in. And it's not because he's not who she wants or needs, but her past and her fears keep her firmly questioning EVERYTHING. Jude shows up in those small ways that somehow are really the big ways. He sees Arden and meets her where she is. He knows when to push and when to pull. He isn't perfect but he is just right for Arden. Arden does a lot of emotional hard work throughout the pregnancy. She has hard conversations and learns about her needs, her boundaries, and her hopes. And all the while, Jude and Arden are silently and slowly building a life together that becomes the center of it all.
Thanks to Alexandra Hale for the #gifted copy of this book.
“I want to be near her always. Because this woman is it for me, she's my past, present, and future."
Summary: A night to remember. A way to forget. And two pink lines that change everything. (from the author)
"You don't need whiskey, Arden...you need me."
My Thoughts: Oh my word... Alexandra Hale has blown me away with Accidentally Falling. I've been excited for Jude and Arden's story since the ending of the last book, and the wait was well worth it.
Arden was a complex character throughout this entire book, largely due to her past, which made it difficult to trust Jude's words and feelings for her. Jude, however, was a dream. I loved that man from the very first page, and watching him fall in love with Arden was beautiful to watch unfold. He fell first and hard, which was a significant turn given that he had never wanted a woman in his life; his reluctance to even get a dog from Vetted Paws was due to his fear of disrupting his simple routine. Arden's constant resistance to Jude throughout their relationship was frustrating until she finally had a change of heart. By the end of this book, I was in tears from the sheer beauty of these characters coming together moments before their precious daughter was born.
As always, I love the fun found family of Blackstone Falls. I love how we came full circle with a lot of Montana and Ellison, since Arden and Ellison are sisters. It was so fun to have both girls pregnant at the same time, despite the differences in their situations. Ellison was always there with a shoulder to cry or lean on for Arden. This group is oh so fun, and I will miss them.
What You'll Find: 🍼Accidental pregnancy 🏠Small town 🥰Found Family 🥹He falls first 🍳He cooks for her ❤️🔥Spicy + Swoony
This was an absolute wonderful read. Thank you @authoralexandrahale and @lunaliterary.management for this arc.
This follows Arden(Tennessee) and Jude (Country Rhodes). Arden fights their relationship almost the whole time because of mommy and daddy issues that Jude and her parents finally help her overcome. Jude runs his family's bar, is a military veteran that is going to physical therapy to help with a war injury to his leg and his brother Deacon helps him when he needs it.
I hope that we get his story, he is a character and is going to be a fabulous uncle to the baby that comes from a one night stand one night at the bar between Jude and Arden.
A couple of the quotes Jude says to Arden: “You’re going to be a great mom. And you’re gonna let me help you with the hard things,”—pausing, I wait until I know she’s paying attention—“and the easy ones.”
“What exactly is your brother doing?” I keep my voice low, meeting Jude’s eyes in the mirror. “You were upset that there wouldn’t be one person just for you.” The words are measured but honest. “I wanted to make sure that you had someone besides me, because you know I’m only ever yours.”
From Jude's brother Deacon to Arden: “Yo! Baby mama! Time to go!” Excuse the what… With my hair halfway curled, I walk into the hallway and find Deacon dressed in a bright pink shirt that says Baby Security, dark jeans, cowboy boots, a black Stetson, and a huge smile on his face."
This book has it all, found family and friends, angst, rescue animals, and a sister that keeps bringing animals home much to her husbands dismay( he loves her so he accepts it though, lol), a mmc that falls first and hard, age gap, and plenty of spice!! Story: 5⭐️ Characters: 5⭐️ Spice: 3🌶️
This was a really nice read. Final book in the series and it's Ellison's half sister Arden's story. Jude is a veteran and a big guy with a limp. He likes to keep himself to himself, even though he runs the pub haha. No hiding there. He did however notice Arden's when she came to their town a year ago. But nothing happened between them. Arden's is the local newspaper article writer and has a lot of baggage. I do think she was more grumpy than him. Being raised by a single mum and now after 20 years she has found her father and half sister. Things are still fresh with her dad but she I besties with her sister. I loved how easily they all took her and Jude into their group of friends. The text messages are very interesting and funny. One night of passion leaves her 8th 2 pink lines. This raises her anxiety and worries that she is repeating her mums story. Luckily Jude is nothing like that and once he finds out he is adamant to show her how much her likes her and wants this by showing up every day. The guy is a saint, despite her arguing and pushing back every time, he doesn't stop. I loved that about him, he even likes her grumpy side too. He was honestly the perfect guy. I did feel Arden's needed therapy instead of constantly blaming everyone for how she is feeling. I didn't like that side of her. I understand her pain and worries but she kept pushing things aside and avoided things. Jude was perfect for her and knew every time how to support her. She did make a good decision in the end which kind of redeemed her. I think therapy would have made life so much easier. I loved Deacon, Jude's brother. He was absolutely amazing and he will be spoiling his neice. Fantastic group of friends and I really enjoyed this series.
Oh my word, what do you get when you cross an ex-military bar owner and a women dealing with a broken past that has suddenly come back together... you get swoony as, spicy as, leave you sighing for days! Arden James is dealing with family issues slapping her in the face when she plonks down on a barstool in Judes bar demanding whiskey, she doesn't get whiskey, she gets Jude!
Avoiding Jude is what she wants, but when two pink lines show up a few weeks later, Arden is thrown back into her past, her mother being abandoned when pregnant with Arden, terrified that she'll end up with the same fate as her mother, Arden closes down, but Jude being the smart man he is, puts two and two together when he sees Arden puking. There are no accusations, no hate, no demands. Just Jude being Jude, throwing his whole beautiful heart into giving Arden everything she needs. He's protective, caring, so freaking swoony!
Arden runs hot and cold with Jude, so scared of him leaving her like her own father did, but Jude shows up, every.single.time! Jude and Ardens siblings pay a big part in getting these two to where they need to be. Deacon...( hhmmm there is a story there) becomes one of Arden's biggest supporters, I loved their connection!
Arden and Jude's story is so much more than a surprise pregnancy read, its establishing friendships, found family, chosen family, reconnection, forgiveness and trust.
I completely adored Accidentally falling, as always Alexandra delivered, leaving me wanting more of these characters over and over again. Thank you as always Alexandra, for the ARC read. Can't wait for more.♥️♥️
One of the Nicest books I have read in a While - you will need a recovery session after this one, believe me!
We are back in Blackstone Falls with the Craziest Friends Group, especially the Ladies and I am totally here for it.
Arden did not have the easiest of childhoods. Her Mom raised her as a Single Parent but with that came a lot of issues that Arden is still having a hard time trying to get over. Her Mom was a great Mom to her but the fact that she got Pregnant with a Guy who had a Wife that was also Pregnant more or less at the same time meant that he went back to his Wife without knowing that Arden's Mom was pregnant with her as he had to cut all ties because of his Wife.
She goes looking for her Dad to discover she has a Half Sister. They instantly become the best of Friends and are to each other the Sister that neither of them had growing up. This is how she becomes part of this Mad Group.
Jude, the Owner of their local Bar gets a late knock on the door one night from Arden wanting to buy a bottle of Whiskey to drown her sorrows. He won't leave her do that but does bring her in for a chat, one thing leads to another and I will say no more on that. You have to read it....ha ha
Jude has a Sweetheart of a Brother Deacon that ye are all going to love. That Man will do anything for Arden as you will read as the book progresses. Jude and Deacon were not originally part of the Crew but have been brought into it because of Arden and her Sister.
I loved the Books in this Series but this is definitely my favourite of all of them, believe me you are going to love this book!
I was honoured to receive an advanced copy of this story and this is my honest review
Arden is a local newspaper journalist. Due to her family history, she doesn't cope at all when it seem like history is repeating itself.
When Arden finds herself at Boots on Bar and Grill needing a drink, Jude the owner who normally makes sure she has an endless supply of chips when she goes in to write her articles. He provides a shoulder to cry on......
A while later Arden realises she is pregnant, Jude discovers this by accident and says he is going to support them. Arden refuses to take it further as she won't be that person that ends up in a relationship just because of a child, she wants to be loved.
Jude who is an injured military vet, has always liked Arden. When she arrived at his bar he started to think maybe she was starting to feel the same way.
When he was told she didn’t want him involved but he could co-parent if he wanted. He decided there and then he would earn her love.
So doing small things to make it easier on Arden Jude checks in on regular basis and not to mention he cooks for her! 💜
Jude's brother Deacon suggests he gets a dog. Eventually Jude adopts Dez. As for Deacon he is the ULTIMATE uncle who has sworn to do anything, everything for his niece.... including spoiling her rotten!!
For me this is one of my favorite quotes I love....
☆ “I’m old and grouchy; that doesn’t really scream fun.” “You’ve made me scream plenty and I can assure you, it was definitely fun.”
Accidentally Falling (ARC REVIEW) Alexandra Hale ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶
Thank you for the ARC!
I say it every time, and it's always true that Alexandra Hale writes fantastic romance with beautiful couples. I absolutely loved Arden and Judes' love story, and the surprise pregnancy trope was done so well. These two definitely brought the emotions, and I enjoyed reading and seeing the growth of the loving relationship these two built together.
Jude has become my favorite of all the men in this series. He is the perfect grumpy yet so protective and beyond swoony MMC. He fell hard and fast for Arden and was all in the minute he found out he was going to be a father. I really loved how even when Arden was fighting her feeling twords him he never gave up on the beautiful and loving future he knew they could have together with their baby.
Arden is such a strong and independent individual who has a more complicated past and has her guard up when it comes to letting people in. She definitely goes on a healing and emotional journey with finding and letting herself be vulnerable and trusting that Jude won't be like her own father and leave. I felt that seeing her embrace and work through her fears and let Jude be her rock and help support her through her healing was beautiful and made me love her character even more. These two were meant to have a HEA together, and they achieved that and so much more.
I love this series, and Alexandra Hale is one of my favorite authors, and i enjoyed reading about Arden and Judes' beautiful journey to HEA.
Another wonderful read from this author. I love her writing style, stories and characters so much. The way everything is woven together always makes me so happy (I also love to revisit previous couples). I can’t believe I am finally caught up on all of her books-which also makes me a little sad.
I was thrilled to finally have Arden’s story and Jude is just a fantastic book boyfriend! He is perfect for Arden and able to give her exactly what she needs before she even realizes- it is the sweetest thing ever. These two have great chemistry and are so adorable-just the perfect match!
All of the doubts and fears that Arden has when it comes to relationships and their unexpected news, had my heart hurting for her. But I loved how Jude stood by her and didn’t let her chase him away. His patience is next level. That man was instantly smitten with her and wasn’t going anywhere. I loved watching her open up, relax and find comfort and enjoyment in her pregnancy and everything Jude was doing for her. Including the way her supported her as she worked through her feelings, concerns steaming from her past and her relationship with her parents.
It have to be said- the found family this little group has developed is the absolute best thing. The love, unwavering support, joking and laughs they bring to each others lives just makes each character better! Also, the text messages-this author is the best with them. I can’t get enough!
A must read series and all the small town romance goodness you could ask for! I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next!
𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸: Accidentally Falling (Book 5) 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: Blackstone Falls 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿: Alexandra Hale 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: Jude Rhodes & Arden James
𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀: - Small Town - Accidental Pregnancy - Found Family - He Falls First - He Cooks For Her - Spicy + Spoony
𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: I'm still swooning over Accidentally Falling by Alexandra Hale! This book follows Jude and Arden's whirlwind romance that started from an accidental pregnancy, and I was hooked from the start. Jude is the ultimate book boyfriend - supportive, sexy, and totally devoted to Arden.
I loved watching Arden warm up to Jude and trust him, despite her past trauma and trust issues. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the romance is both sweet and steamy.
The small town charm of Blackstone Falls is everything, and I adored seeing familiar faces from the series. Deacon, Jude's brother, stole the show for me - he has a rough exterior like his brother but he’s so cute and fun, and I desperately need a story for him! *Cough, Cough* with Tanner *Cough, Cough*
Alexandra Hale's writing is comforting and cozy, making it easy to get lost in her world. If you're a fan of small town romance, you'll love Accidentally Falling. I'm already missing this series, but I'm excited to see what's next from Alexandra Hale!
𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 is the 5th book in the Blackstone Falls series by Alexandra Hale, featuring a must-read accidental pregnancy, age gap romance for Jude and Arden. I can’t believe this series is ending, but I’m so glad we got Jude’s story! I love my wounded military veterans who need the right woman who see past the gruff, damaged exterior to the heart of the man underneath. Arden exemplified that perfectly, and she had her own family-related hang-ups that Jude was able to support her through. Jude and Arden brought that unexplainable connection, some relatable emotion and the spicy passion we love. Jude checked all my boxes with the way he cared for her during the pregnancy! So swoon worthy!!😍 With the phenomenal world building of this series, I was thrilled with the small town charm and hilarious antics. Few things make me happier than funny group chats in a book!😂 Jude’s brother Deacon was such a standout for me! He was such a sweetheart, and will be the absolute best uncle! I loved his bond with his brother and how accepting he was of Arden and the baby on the way!! All these characters feel like friends and family, and I am crossing my fingers that Alexandra Hale finds a way to revisit this world in the future!
I received an advanced review copy, and my opinions are my own and freely expressed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶🌶
This is the second book by Alexandra Hale I've had the pleasure of reading and I am just as obsessed with this one as I was with the first.
After being put in a difficult place our FMC, Arden, wanders around Blackstone Falls looking for liquor any liquor will do. But, alas, small towns close early but the local bar's lights are still on and that means the MMC, Jude, is there. Arden decided to demand entry into the bar and buy a bottle from Jude before going on her way. Jude has other plans and the night ends with them hooking up. Surprise, two months later the two haven't spoken since that night but all of that is going to change because Arden is pregnant with Jude's baby.
This book was the perfect combination of funny, sweet, and emotional. I loved how Arden didn't just accept that her situation was similar to anyone else's and that she didn't allow anyone (no matter how close they are to her) bully her. It takes a strong person to do what Arden did and, although difficult, it paid off.
Jude is easily one of my top book boyfriends now. The way he literally swooped in and took care of EVERYTHING Arden needed without being asked. I'm not sure what it says about me, but the "not needing to be asked" part really was some wonderful foreplay. 😂
This story was absolutely perfect and I highly recommend!
Arden & Jude's book was a quick, sweet and a spicy read.
Arden, is not sure how to navigate having her parents reconnect and starting a relationship. It's bringing back memories and pain, and she's not dealing with any off it well. Which is how she ends up with Jude, late one night at his bar. Not knowing that it will change her life.
Jude, he left for the military as soon as he turned eighteen and then returned home after being injured. He owns Boots and Bar and is most definitely not a people person. He loves one person, his brother Declan & he never expected Arden, but she's now become the one he will love & protective no matter what. He just has to make her see that his not going anywhere.
Jude and Arden's book was so beautiful. Jude being Arden's support when she really needed him and doing everything possible to make sure she was taken care of was so amazing.
This was a lovely end to this series with the best secondary characters.
