Henry and his dog Angus decide to go exploring the jungle. They end up catching a tiger that had escaped from his circus cage and they get a ticket to the circus. Similar to Henry the Explorer, but occurs in the summer.

Henry and Laird Angus McAngus (his trusty little dog) are off on another adventure through the ‘jungle’. These two are simply adorable and charming and have the best adventures.

It’s also fun to say Angus McAngus every time Angus is mentioned. :-)

Exactly what I want from a childhood adventure- realistic imaginative play combined with fantastic coincidences.

Mark Taylor has a wonderful sense of humor. His subtle portrayal of a curious young boy and his dog exploring the great outdoors had my fourth graders laughing. I used it to discuss exlporing at a local level as well as beyond our area.

Children were fascinated with making their own flags, learning how to leave stone markers on the trail, and readying for exploring their backyards and beyond!
