I only had 2 weeks until I went to college for my freshman year. That's until I met Ryder. He was determined to have me take free lessons from him for his favorite hobby and he was full of secrets. I wasn't interested but I thought it would make my last two weeks at home pass faster so I agreed . The only problem is he had more on his mind than his hobby. Would I give in to him and what were his secrets?

Jenna is ready to venture out on her own, start college, and decide what she wants to be when she grows up. She's temporarily stunned when she meets the handsome Ryder at a Golf Club event. Even more stunned when he insists on teaching her to golf. Although Jenna is not really interested in learning golf, she's very interested in Ryder. That is until she realizes how secretive the man is. Jenna uses every possible chance she gets to learn more about the mysterious Ryder, but the man is very guarded with what he shares about himself. Will Jenna learn more before she leaves for college? Or will she give up on Ryder and leave the 'what ifs' behind? Just when you think you've figured out Jenna's decision, Claire hits you with a bang that will definitely have you starving for more of Jenna and Ryder's story!

I really enjoyed this book. When Jenna meets Ryder I could not put my kindle down. How they joked back and forth was hilarious. I am just dying to know what he is hiding. Can't wait for book 2

Pretty good book!!
This was the first book that I read from Ms. Adams and I thought that it was pretty good. I loved the shocking ending. But it still has me wondering what made him sick.

I don't know how to rate this book, because:
1) it was too short (only 10 chapters)
2) it ends in a cliffhanger, which I'm not fond of
3) the h behaves too mature to be 18 years old
But, it was well written and I love age-gap romances.

Loved it
It's very rare I give 5☆☆☆☆☆. A great book I'm highly likely to reread. I really really enjoyed the story and intend to get the other books asap.

Jenna is an 18 year old ready to start college. While she is volunteering at a country club. When she tries to get a piece of shrimp with her toothpick she stabs a mysterious man named Ryder. He is mysterious he wants to teach her how to golf before college he is a bit older than her, 33 to be exact. Jenna also realizes he's her new neighbor. When things get serious between them one night he says he's feeling sick so they fall asleep next to each other. The next morning he's getting sick and he tells her to leave. Ryder doesn't get a hold of her before she leaves. So Jenna decides she's going to get him out of her head while in college, but her first class is going well until she head the teachers voice. Great read. On to the next installment of this story.

Quick read that ends in cliffie
This was a pretty good story. Jenna didn't act like some green, naive 18 year old, but kind of mature. She was funny and mind was always in the gutter, which I thought was funny. Ryder was really mysterious, but some of the things with their interactions were kind of predictable. Since it was so short, and ended in a cliffhanger, I can't give an awesome rating or a negative one because it's not fully developed. Though, I will say it seems like both characters have interesting back stories.

Not what I was expecting. So far I'm hooked. This cliffhanger is like a mini series. Each book I believe is short. At least that's how it seems.
I can't wait to read book 2 and find out what will happen with Jenna.

I seriously can't believe this garners more than one star by anyone, and that's being generous! First, the grammar and punctuation and misspellings make this an absolute joke.
To make matters worse, the sentences are so robotic, choppy, and elementary. No good dialogue, interest, or connection. Even under the romance genre, I expect decent writing, and this was just awful.

This book was a very entertaining and I just couldn't bring myself to put it down. Jenna was so witty and feisty that she was absolutely one of my favorite female characters. I did have a hard to reconciling her personality throughout the book with her age. Ryder was just plain hot right from the beginning. Together they were just an amazing couple.

Sexy New series, barely legal co-ed with much older mysterious man. Adams does a great job of leaving clues about Ryder, his age and career are a big mystery until the end. Still lots to know thus the cliffhanger.
