Immaculate Deception

Rate this book
Matt Richardson has two lives: one as a successful investment banker, the other haunting the dark corners of Los Angeles in search of something even he does not fully understand. He finds what he thinks he’s looking for in Amanda O’Connell, a beautiful young woman with secrets of her own and a shadowy connection to the Republican Presidential nominee. In this erotic thriller, Michael takes us from the back alleys and bondage parlors of Los Angeles to the corridors of power in Washington and beyond, where little is what it seems, and where no one can take anything—even themselves—at face value.

Just finished Immaculate Deception and really enjoyed it. It started off strong which got me hooked right away. It has a very good story line and has a strong finish. I would like a book two on this story,

This was a really, really hard book to write because it took me a long time to decide where it needed to go. It began as a dark, twisted first-person short story, but I realized the potential in it deserved different treatment. Several rewrites later, I had a full-length book in the works.

There is a lot in here that may offend the sexually and politically squeamish, none of which I can really explain without creating some spoilers. This is because I made a deliberate attempt to cross lines and twist conventions with the story. The final outcome is intended to provoke thought more than satisfy, though you may (and I do) find it satisfying.
