Finn Dunraven introduces himself and propositions her. This man with his Irish brogue sends her heart and body a flutter. But what is he?
Something is going on in the small town where her grandmother lived and the coven still lives. Finn is apart of that something and its dark. But what is Riley? She thought a white witch but she just is not sure anymore.
Can Riley find it within herself to handle what’s ahead?
What about Riley and Finn will it be forever or nothing?
Can they stop the danger from killing more of the coven?

Sexy Paranormal Story!!!!
Riley Doogan is a witch who lives a seemingly normal life in New York City. That is until Finn Dunraven walks into her life. When Finn asks Riley to go back with him to Maine she is conflicted. Not only must she fight off some evil dark magic that is endangering her grandmother's coven, but she must also fight her own inner conflicts. Not to mention the chemistry between Riley and Finn are off the charts hot.
This book is another winner by Claudy Conn. I always enjoy her descriptive writing. I feel as though I am living the story instead of only reading it. This was a sexy paranormal story with elements of suspense to keep you on your toes guessing as what comes next. I can't wait for the next installment in the series. Bravo Claudy!

Riley Doogan is a white witch but more. Finn Dunraven is an immortal prince at odds with his family. When Riley's Grandmother passes away, Riley has to return to Maine to sets things right with their coven. Finn follows her there. Dark magic and evil that threatens all that Riley loves awaits them. Will their love and combined strengths be enough to win over evil? I can't wait to read the next book in this fantastic series!

All I can say is WOW!
What an amazingly written story. In all honesty I was so wrapped up in the story that I forgot I was reading another amazing creation by Claudy Conn, until the Scottish dialect was added of course. I love any books that have a magical element to them. I can't explain why... I just love them and this one is no exception. I recommend this to EVERYONE!

Yes, I really agree this is one amazing journey that had me from the very first chapters where we meet Riley Doogan. She and her friend/partner, Betty, own & operate a high end baby clothing store. Riley has a secret, she is a white witch, like her mother and grandmother before her. Unlike them she declined to join the coven. She wanted and chose a "normal" life, one that was about change forever when the deliciously, handsome man, that screams money & power walks into the shop looking for her. she extends her hand in a professional welcome and feels a jolt as he takes her fingers, right up her arm to her head. His voice, that dreamy Irish accent she loves. as he tells her he recognizes her form pictures Maddy had all over the house. He tells her his name is Finn Dunraven and had become quite close to her grandmother in the past year when he moved back to Dunraven Estate. Riley remembers her gran going on & on about him and how she wanted Riley to meet him. He says how sorry he is that he was away when she died. Finn asked her if she would come have a coffee with him as he has a proposition for her. So over coffee she learns that he wants to buy the 20 acres boardering their properties. The land with all the Rowan Oak trees on it. Maddy wanted to sell it to him but wanted to talk to her first. Riley did remember her grandmother telling her about a piece of land she was thinking of selling and wanted her to come up so she could explain the whole thing to her. She put it off....the next thing she knew, came a call that gran was in the hospital. She only had a few minutes together before she was gone. But Riley remembers her gran telling her if anything ever happened to her she needs to find her journal, it will explain everything. So, before she agrees to sell the land, she is returning to Sutterville to do just that....... So the Journey begins!!!!!
Before she even has time to find the journal, things start happening to other members of the covin, which is now her coven......Her powers are growing as she comes into her majority(25 yrs) the magic in her blood is mutated. She & Finn are drawn more & more together until it can no longer be denied. And let me tell you this is some of the most erotic sex scenes, they just sizzle together. She learns that Finn is from another realm, he is a Rowan Royal Immortal. Then their is the Argle, named Prio who is killing off the coven to get to Riley. He is Dark magic and has a demon helping him. He is from Finn's realm and Finn wants to catch him and imprisoned, take him to another dimension. Prio wants Riley by his side to rule when they over throw the Queen. The rub is this....The Queen is mother to both Prio and Finn! They are half brothers. Finn is a Prince & heir to the throne, but he renounced his position and became a Guardian. Prio turned to the dark side. He created a portal in the woods where the Rowan trees grow, the very land Finn needs to own so he can use his blood to seal & trap Prio when he tries to use the portal in 2 weeks time when it is due to open again. Finn takes Riley there where a Sacred Stone- Boulder marks the portal. The stone only speaks to a Royal, but when Riley touches it, it whispered "Beannaithe" to her, which means "Blessed"......So, what is she? She was always told her power came from her father who was a Coji Warlock who was head of a large coven in N.Y., but she is a white witch like her mother.....But her powers have been changing in amazing ways, she can shift like the fae, think herself somewhere and be there.....Finn tells her that her powers are greater than he has ever seen in the human dimension, and they are still growing. Right away I knew I would thoroughly enjoy this book. I love magical love stories and Claudy always brings them to life.
I love how this book is based in New England :)
Riley is a witch but she has been living magic free running a infant clothes shop. She is fairly happy with her life. She chose to live most of her life without using her powers. She wanted to try to live life like a normal human.
She soon faces the fact that she has to accept her witch.
Finn is a gorgeous, mysterious immortal. He has secrets and he is not ready to tell them. Finn meets Riley hoping that she will sell some of her grandmothers land but they both feel spicy explosive passion. The chemistry between these 2 characters is off the charts.
Will Riley accept her witch? Can Riley learn her witch powers in time to stop the evil?... You have to read this book you will not be disappointed.

This is Claudy Conn at her best!! Immortals, Witches, Dark Wizard and Demons, oh my!!
Between the romance, sexy and erotic love scenes between our two strong minded main characters - Riley Doogan (who owns a high end children's clothing store on 5th Ave. in N.Y.C. and also happens to be a white witch) and Finn Dunraven (an Immortal Prince from another Realm and who has some magic of his own), to Prio (the Immortal Dark Wizard), we are taken on one heck of a ride. There are twists and turns and surprises galore in this tale. I also adore Fred, Finn's golden lab who is also special.
I was so enthralled with the story, couldn't put it down until I was finished. Claudy really outdid herself with this one and I'm anxiously awaiting for the next book of this awesome adventure!! This is a MUST READ especially if you are one of Claudy Conn's fans as I am. Wish I could have given this one 10 stars!!

Another amazing story by Claudy Conn. She just keeps getting them out there and each one gets better and better. I swear if she ever stopped writing, I would be one bored chick!

If you wanna know what happens go on and grab a copy and see for yourself! This is definitely a must read and I can't wait for book 2! Love it!

A Beginning
I enjoyed this book, it has all of the components of an
excellent fantasy, murder mystery with elements of a romantic suspense. Witches, immortals and Angel like creatures intermixed in a story with hate,anger, deception and hurt in the plot.. Through this story is a love story that is smoking...this is a good way to spend some time. Enjoy, I did!!! Waiting...

And what a journey
Wow great story. I enjoyed the sexual tension between Riley and Finn from the start. It jumped off the page and the mystery of what and who Finn really is, but the real journey is the one that Riley takes discovering who she is and what she is capable of. Looking forward to part 2 and what happens next. Hope the wait won't be too long.

Claudy Conn does it again in this steamy tale. The heat between Riley and Finn set the pages on fire in this tale! I stayed up flipping the pages till the wee hours of the morning needing to know what happened next! This book has it all - mystery, suspense, and some seriously steamy lovin!

Along comes Finn Dunraven, a handsome and very mysterious man. Riley gets vibes she doesn't understand around Finn. When he introduces himself to her in her shop and claims to know her deceased grandmother she is totally taken with him. He proposition her to return to Maine with him and to protect her late grandma's coven from evil that is there. He is now the new leader of the coven and needs her dark magic to save the coven.
Riley's decision really caused her a lot of grief, soul searching and sadness but also there was so much passion and adventure, more than she ever wanted.
Riley has gone far beyond what she has hoped for and now what could she do to get out of this awful arrangement.
The book is written in first person but easy to follow.

WOW...I am hooked, I need MORE please!
I will start by saying again WOW, what a great read! I love how The story just sucks you right in from the start and has you, or me at least so looking forward to the next book, I can't wait!
Now, about the story, Riley is a witch who just wants to fit in and actually does a pretty good job of it until Finn ( drop dead gorgeous Immortal ) comes into her shop with a proposition for her and from that moment on its on! The banter between Riley and Fin has you laughing out loud at times and the sexual attraction between the two, WOW. Now as much as I would like to say that was the best part it wasn't, the story itself is great, murder, mystery, romance and leaves you wanting more. This is definitely a great start to what looks like an awesome series and I have found another author to add to my favorites! Thank you Claudy Conn!

Claudy Conn is on my very short "one-click" list. If she writes it, I buy it and this book is a perfect example of why. Riley is a workaholic business owner who is also strong and powerful witch. Albeit, one who has not fully embraced her withciness. Finn is equally strong and oh so very sexy, with a Scottish accent to boot. Together they fight to overcome the evil that has invaded her hometown. New Paranormal Twist - Check Sexual Tension you can cut with a knife- check True Love - Check Mystery and Evilness - Check I was so excited to see that there will be more to come for Riley and Finn. I was not ready to say good-bye when the story ended.

One of those Cant stop reading books

Another great book by Claudy Conn. This is about a girl named Riley who is a witch yet tries to live in the human race without using her powers until a handsome man named Finn who is from Ireland comes in and wants to buy a piece of land in Sutterville that her grandmother left her. He did not realize that he would be taken by her beauty and she did not realize that she would not be able to read his mind. It had her questioning exactly "what was he?" She did go back to her grandmother's house only to discover Prio, was out to kill her coven in order to get her to join him in his black magic. Riley, however is drawn to Finn and he wants her to stay close to him and places ward's on the coven to keep them protected. However Prio does kill one member of the coven and injured another named Aunt Alice. Finn is able to heal her enough to go through surgery, otherwise she may have died. This is a battle between Prio, Finn and Riley, hot sex between Finn and Rilley, as well as a great adventure on how to capture or kill that which is causing havoc to the coven and possibly the humans. Will they be able to stop Prio or is this something we will discover in book 2? A great read.

A big, fat DNF for this one. The blurb alone should have warned me, but I figured I would give it a shot. One star for the halfway decent cover.
