2 ⭐️: Will deny in public I read it
The fact the MMC thought this was okay?! 😃👇🏽

⤷ Let’s start with the fact that this story was mostly 90% smut and 10% plot (which at times I’m okay with). However, I cannot support that 10% of the book was the MMC (who knows he’s sleeping with his son’s ex and hides it from her) as a good character.
⤷ Furthermore, this man was CONTROLLING. Mind you they decided to basically be FWBs and he was telling her exactly where she will sleep, where she will go, and when he will need to pick her up? EWWWWWYUCK.
⤷ The FMC was manipulated this entire story and forgave him in the SAME page that he was exposed for lying to her. Like absolute ZERO groveling and this MMC had the audacity to tell her she was going to be punished (spanking)???
HELLO??? 😀 Can we please write female characters who stand up against manipulative men and don’t take men back easily because the bedroom scenes are just “TOO GOOD”?

This was low key a soft crime against literature and I can’t believe none of these reviews call it out for what it is— a disappointment 😣. First of all, ex-BF’s dad is like the easiest trope that exists 😒. There’s an EXACT formula for this. All you need is a hot AF silver fox MMC (preferably rich), a cheating ex boyfriend, and a FMC with spine. That’s literally it, sprinkle in spice and emotional connection to your liking (Our references are Your dad will do and Birthday Girl). Crazy ex-wife/baby mama optional. That’s literally IT! 💀 You LITERALLY cannot fail here. In fact, this is so easy, this is literally one of the most replicated tropes on those seedy pay per chapter apps . Like across every damn genre, reverse harem, shifter, werewolf, fae DAMN. Like every freaking variation of this exists 💀✨.
Instead this author decided to reinvent the wheel for some reason and ended up creeping us all out on PAGE 1 🙄. Yes, you read that correctly PAGE 1. For some odd reason, she felt the need to include a prologue which shows the BF graduating and moving in with his dad. He’s entitled AF and thinks the dad is gonna hire him. He shows his dad a picture of the girl he’s seeing and apparently the Dad (Grayson) instantly becomes obsessed with her lol 🤢. Not gonna lie, I dont understand. I dont know WHY the author thought it could be good idea to show her middle aged 45 year old MMC instantly falling in love with a picture of a 23 year old girl. Instalove was not the move here gross 🤮. So yeah I immediately added creep to his list of virtues .
The very next scene opens with him sitting on a plane, about to head abroad for a wedding. He sees Paige (FMC) walk in a she has the seat next to him. He’s getting excited because he remembers her. It becomes obvious pretty fast she has no idea who he is and he turns up the charm and starts flirting 🤢 (Capitalize in bold letters “CREEP” on his list of virtues). They talk about her ex briefly and how it didn’t work out 🫥. Paige is drawn to him but doesn’t understand why. Turns out they’re going to his best friend’s daughter’s wedding. Paige knows the bride because they’re good friends, they met on vacation years ago and stayed in touch. Paige is apparently LIKE A DAUGHTER to his best friend (please remember this) 😵💫.
So they show up at the hotel. Lo and behold, they messed up his reservation, he doesn’t have a room and might have to stay at another hotel. This is gonna be annoying because all the events are at this one. Paige pipes up and asks if they have rollout beds, she can share his room 😵💫🥴. He tries to decline but obviously doesn’t want to. She says it’s fine. They start making out in front of the hotel check in 🤢🤢. He tells her there’s no way he’s sleeping on the rollout bed if he stays with her and instantly starts putting the moves on her 🤢🤢🤢. Instead of telling this old man to back off, Paige is excited 🤢🤢🤢🤢. They run into his best friend’s daughter on the way up— like a brief respite for him to think about how creepy he’s being but no.
They get up stairs and it’s back to sexy time. He plans to fuck her out of his system 🤢🤢🤢(add hopeless romantic to his list of virtues). Starts pointing out all the places in the room he’s gonna dick her down 🤢🤢🤢🤢. He asks her how long it’s been when she says it’s been a while for her. He thinks two weeks would be a long time— because he has a high sex drive 😒(add Nympho to his list of virtues). She says 18 months and he gets even more excited because he realizes there’s no way she was ever with his son (add manipulative to his list of virtues). It’s been 6 months for him (ever since he first saw her 🥺). He always uses protection. The one time he didn’t he ended up with Edward (his son). So they fuck right away, obviously it’s the best sex of her life and all. Considering he’s a nympho who considers two weeks a dry spell, atleast he’s good in bed 🙄.
They attend the wedding and everyone just seems to accept their relationship 😒lol? Like a 23 year age gap is nothing. We find out her parents died in an accident young. She was partially raised by her aunt but spent a lot of time with Chloe and her family. Grayson’s best friend wanted to adopt her, but it was too complicated. Grayson tells everyone at the wedding they’re together 🫠. He wants her to come work for him when this is all over (add nepotism to his list of virtues but only if it involves sex). He decides this is no longer a fling and they’re a forever thing 🥺👉👈. This all while his son is begging him for a job by the way 😅. They head back and realize they’re on separate flights— they plan to meet up.
He wants to confess everything but decides he needs to tell his son first 🥹. Except it goes over poorly. He’s like she didn’t even want you, y’all barely dated we’re together now 😂 (add father of the year to his list of virtues). Son seems to think Paige is gonna come around and want his jobless entitled ass 🥲 (maybe delusion runs in the family). Gray starts telling Paige the truth at lunch the next day, only for Edward to walk in and call him dad lol 🤣. Paige is FINALLY creeped out and tries to run away 👏.
Gray catches up and tells her he loves her lol 😒. All about how he saw her picture and wanted to come clean today 🤢. She immediately folds and accepts everything . He tells her she’s gonna be his wife and have his babies (add controlling to his list of virtues). Edwards gets disowned and sent to his mother for interfering in his father’s midlife crisis I guess. 🤷♀️✨

This novella is fast paced and spicy!

OH. MY. GOD. I am genuinely at a loss for words. This book was absolutely incredible, In every single way. I never wanted it to end!! The story was absolute perfection, the characters were so lovable and worked so well together, and the writing? Absolutely exceptional. From beginning to end, I was hooked. There were so many things I loved i'd be here forever trying to list them all. But anyways, the second I saw the tropes, and read the blurb I fell in love and my entire TBR got pushed aside for this and I don't regret it one bit. I'm an absolute sucker for an age gap, especially an ex's dad, and the author absolutely NAILED it.
I was not even 30 pages in, and this man had me blushing, like honestly, genuinely speechless. Within 22 pages I had fallen completely in love with him. The way he loved and cared for Paige was everything. I loved how down bad he was for her, there's nothing he wouldn't do for her and that is just everything to me. And Paige? God, she was perfect in every way. Strong, intelligent, independent, supportive, the list goes on. But the way she loves Chloe and helped her, their friendship was something else entirely.
I can't not mention Angus, that man deserves Dad of the year award. The way he loves and talks about Paige, as if she were his own, I cried a tiny bit (a lot) he was such an incredible character, impossible to not love him, along with Nana Pearl, that woman was an absolutely ICON.
And as for Edward, what an absolutely selfish prick, god I hated him more and more as the book went on.

ABSOLUTELY FREAKING YES. What ever Grayson asks, the answer is always YES!! im honestly speechless as a debut novel this was so freaking good and I would recommend to anyone and everyone who loves an age gap romance. This is a lot of insta lust into love. Grayson Stone

Well, what a debut!! This spicy novella was the perfect palate cleanser.
Paige and Grayson definitely cause some heat between the sheets, I mean pages. At one point the visual was right there in my eyes!
Their chemistry was off the charts and Gray's love was damn obsessive but perfect.
It's high on the kinks which makes for a good read and could even have you discovering something you like. Ok wouldn't mind being Gray's warmer 😜.
For a quick spicy, delightful read with likeable characters this one is for you. Excited to see what's to come.
