Something for All Readers…
Arguably, the collection of 4 stand alone romances features some tropes that will appeal to readers. Perhaps, what sets this collection apart is the diversity in Boulder Billionaires. Whew! Rich, yes, but each battling different issues, taking different journeys.
The final story portrays a broken billionaire, a man struggling with an all consuming battle with alcohol, a battle he has lost repeatedly. However, the relationships in his past have scarred him, he receives hope and focus in an unexpected relationship between a woman he had abandoned and the son she delivered without his knowledge.
The stories provide the bold billionaire stereotypes with twists and counter balance with strong women, competent, able to make hard decisions.

Bossy & Loving It!
This 4-book box set is ideal for those of us who love bossy & strong characters. Each billionaire falls for the drop-dead gorgeous young lady who catches his eye, catches his heart & his soul. Each story captures your attention right from the beginning to the last page. There is suspense, twists & plenty of sizzling romantic scenes. These novels are totally addictive!
My first opportunity to read an ARC novel written by Mia Mara started with Book 2 & I’m so glad that on a whim I had chosen her as my newest author to me! This box set is a great start to pick up & read if you’d like to be introduced to the Boulder Billionaires.

Rocky Road Ahead
When Jackson & Mandy were younger & dating, Jackson had received a threat from an unknown person. So in order to protect Mandy, he chose to leave her. Ten long years they tried to move on & to start a new life without each other but their feelings never died. Jackson had enough of this long separation & had returned to Boulder, Colorado to move his company there, insisting L&V Interiors, design his new business location, specifically Mandy to be the only one to work on this project. Lots of resistance on her part but with his patience, his charm & manipulations trying to get her alone with him in order to get the 2nd chance he needs to win her back. When the threats return, he keeps her in the dark about the threats. He works tirelessly in finding who’s threatening them. Throwing in some twists into the story, has you guessing on who it might be. You’ll have to read this one to find out if Jackson will be able to save Mandy from this threat. A good story to read to start this new series.
Brute & Bossy – Book 2 (Wade & Raylene)
Opposites Attract Romance
Wade & Raylene collide on the ski slopes. He’s the owner of Colchester Ski Resort & unbeknownst to her that day, she’s the best candidate for a job position he has been searching for as his assistant. Even though this boss/employee link is unorthodox, there’s an attraction towards each other. When he needs a convincing girlfriend to secure a deal, Ray comes to mind. She agrees as her expenses are rising & needs the money for her mom’s medical expenses. With the close proximity of being together, they are becoming more open & peel away their coldness towards each other. Misunderstandings & jealousy creep into their fake relationship which had been feeling very real & true feelings are crushed. Can these two overcome their fears & really make what started as a fake relationship, into something so deep & special? Can two opposites really be attracted to each other? The chemistry between Wade & Ray feels so real. The banter back & forth, the other emotions tossed into the ring, makes this a really good story to read. This is a new author for me & I had great pleasure in reading this novel. Hot & steamy says it all!

Down to Earth Romance
This book has been my favorite out of this series as it is the most down-to-earth story-line with Hunter & Lottie butting heads while she works at his family's ranch. She shows true grit standing up to what she believes in & works hard. She shows strength in her life around those who know her but is vulnerable when it comes to her Ex returning into her life. Be prepared for the emotional times when Lottie's world falls apart & it seems all is lost forever. Keep the tissues close by! Hunter is her rock & her true love. A romantically hot & touching story worth reading!
Bad & Bossy – Book 4 (Cole & Dana)
Great Read!
This is a realistic romance story about Cole & Dana. Both have a common thread of alcoholism in their lives. Cole has his own demons to destroy in order to clean up his personal & business lives. Dana has a mom who has been an alcoholic for years & has missed many milestones in Dana's life. When Cole & Dana met, there was this strong connection between them but come morning, she sees him drinking. Having been brought up with an alcoholic in her life, she keeps her distance from him. Had they worked on their communication skills better & help the other to understand where they were coming from, would have sped up the story. Spend more time on their budding romance & less focus on the heaviness of the alcohol problem.
I found the story-line based heavily on his struggles of being an alcoholic, to be very realistic. Dana, I can understand why she'd keep her son away from her parents & Cole but I disagreed on her decision to keep her secret from him. There are tough-love decisions made which tug on the heart strings & I got emotional over them. Reconciling with the people in their lives helps them achieve their HEA they fully deserve.

Bossy Boulder Billionaire Box set by Mia Mara is four books.
Book one is called Big and Bossy. The hero is Jackson Big, owner of a tech company. He is relocating to Boulder and hires Mandy’s company for interior design. The two were together in college and then separated for ten years. Jack starts off as a bossy alpha but turns into a marshmallow as he tries to reconnect with Mandy who remains resentful of their last night together. They end up fake engaged and then slowly Jack’s story comes out. As Mandy starts to forgive Jack, more trouble brews. Nicely written with interesting characters and families.
Brute and Bossy has Wade, Jack’s friend, interviewing Raylene for his executive assistant job after a collision on skis. Ray needs the job to help with her mother’s Alzheimer’s medical bills. Wade ends up needing a fake girlfriend to clean up his playboy reputation to get an investor to expand his ski resort. Ray and Wade start off as fiery with Wade teasing Ray and she giving it back to him in spades. Really great! As Wade and Ray get into the fake girlfriend thing and learn more about each other they begin to fall for each other. The descriptions of their intimacies are steamy, exciting, and erotic. The characters are entertaining and their building relationship is great. And along comes the third act misunderstanding before the HEA.
Beast and Bossy’s main male character is Hunter who is introduced in Brute and Bossy. He hires Lottie to run his family’s horse breeding farm. He offers to sign over 49% of the breeding operation if she will act as his fake girlfriend. Then he will appear more stable than his brother so his father will choose him to take over his family’s corporation as CEO. Lottie is a pistol. Her responses to his teasing are a joy to read. Just as both characters are revealing their backgrounds, Lottie’s dad is rushed to the hospital. Things heat up in their situation from there. Despite problems and misunderstandings, the two finally get a happy ending.
Bad and Bossy is about Lottie’s friend Dana and brewmaster Cole. This book was so emotional. The family history of both main characters was so devastating that it impacted their adult life in so many ways. The way the author dealt with their past and present difficulties was so well done and so very true to the issues that were brought to life. The focus was truly less on the romance and more on how to manage the issues to let the couple make a life together with their son. So moving.
It is too hard to pick a favorite and well worth reading all four books as the previous characters come up in the next book and you get to see where they are in their lives. Take the time to enjoy it.

I loved this whole box set. Each story was unique, funny and has lots of steam. Mia Mara is an amazing author and these books do not disappoint!
Big and Bossy
I loved Jack and Mandy! This book had a lot of good humor, drama and lots of steam. Jack was not at all what he seemed and Mandy was cautious. I was hooked aftet the first chapter and was surprised at the end. I also really enjoyed the Boulder, CO references.
Brute and Bossy
This book and it exceeded my expectations. When the Blunder Bunny took out the Brute on the slopes it made one of the best meet-cutes ever. This was a true romantic comedy and had me laughing several times. Ray and Wade were the perfect opposites for each other and made the best explosive tension that keeps you hooked. I loved everything about this book!

Big and Bossy: Second chance trope…. Working together in a fake relationship. 10 years apart, without spoiling the plot, Jackson wants to make amends. He does this is a big way.
Brute and Bossy: Awesome Storytelling. Charming characters with exception of Zane… great story with enough twists and turns to keep the reader wondering how it’s gonna end.

Amazing series so get comfortable with your favorite snack and wine you won’t be putting this set down until the last page has been turned. Jackson, Wade, Hunter and Cole four sexy as all get out filthy rich Boulder Colorado bosses who usually take what they want but want to be seen for them, have a hard time at trusting, each with their own trust issues and no shortage of women who want them for their net worth. But the women who capture their hearts without trying comes as a surprise especial considering it was supposed to be a fake relationship but what happens when things don’t go as planned and fate throws a monkey wrench into your plans shifting to go just as she plans but where are our couples headed, will it lead them to their own HEA?

Where are the tissues
I loved this complete set, but the last book is my absolute favorite. I cried ugly tears over Cole and Dana. To avoid a Spoiler, I'll just say this one had some hard topics to digest but was worth every painful tear.
The books can be stand-alone reads, but I fully recommend reading in order. Characters carry over into following stories.
