5 Sizzling Stars!

I absolutely love this author. She has a unique writing style that pulls you right in. In this new serial series by this hot new author, we meet Piper. A young woman who works in a gentleman's club. She is a girl running from her past though at times it is difficult. As we follow Piper's journey, she will run into old lovers and meet new lovers. Who will win Piper's hear in the end?

In Volume 5 of this series and the final book, we are right alongside Piper as she has a difficult decision to make. Just as she is trying to uncomplicated her life, Reed storms back in demanding he has decided to walk away from his life and he wants a chance. But has someone else stolen Piper's heart or are the feelings she has for Reed love? Only Piper can make the decision, one that will affect everyone around her. One heart will soar. One heart will be broken. In the end, Piper will finally get her much deserved happy ending.

I love Piper though I want to strangle her at times. Her life is already complicated but this poor girl keeps having it thrown at her over and over. I have enjoyed watching Piper grow and become stronger with each volume. She is learning to take charge and demand what she wants. It is empowering. Fingers crossed that Piper chooses with her heart when it comes to love!

I highly recommend this series and author!

I was thrilled with how the series ended. I have to say I did not expect the turn of events , really in any of the volumes but from the end of volume 4 throughout volume 5 I was really nervous hoping Piper would make the choice I was hoping for !! Piper has grown quite a bit in her confidence over this span of time. She finally realizes what she wants and who can give her that. Not only that but she is able to express those feelings to both guys. I was freakin out with the distance her and Julien had but I was also glad for Piper to be able to do for herself and dance and earn a spot in a great show !! For a quick steamy serial this tops my list. Full of hot sex and drama but also some heartache and real life struggles.

Piper and Julien have just had their night !! DAMN it was nice , but of course Reed shows up to throw a wrench in her path. Not really knowing what is going on between her and Julien but knowing she has to make a choice about Reed really puts the pressure on. It doesn't take Piper long to decide who she wants and what she wants but is it too late ?? Can she reach him despite his attempts at distancing himself or will he continue to blow her off until she gives up. It drove me crazy just waiting for the one moment to finally happen. To know that Piper would have an HEA and be able to put all the crap behind her and move forward with the man she wants to be with.

"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."

After the ending of vol 4, I was somewhat nervous of Piper making the wrong choice - after all she has made some interesting ones so far. The friendship that she developed with Julien was such an integral part of her development, that their potential separation due to Reed's decision is frustrating. But as the story unfolds, Piper's transition to confident, certain adult continues and Ms Parker delivers a super ending.

I loved the complete story provided by the five volumes. I was very glad that I could read them one after the other, as I am not good at waiting for the HEA. I was delighted by the ending and felt that many characters got their story out, even if Piper was the focus. Many thanks for a great read.

Piper finally makes her choice!!

This was overall a good series read. I was able to read all 5 volumes in an afternoon. I liked the twists and turns they took you on. What you thought was going to happen didn't, the little suspense tidbits added to the overall read. At times yes I really did want to slap Piper and her poor choices.

It seems a lot of authors are moving to the short novellas, released weeks apart. It keeps my interest this way and tends to be a great cleanser for me after reading full novels back to back. It's nice to throw something short and sexy in there.

I can't wait to see what M.S. Parker has in store for us next!

My Rating:

4.5

Favorite Quotes:

“Piper, that boy is a womanizing creep who’s got more pussy than a cat shelter.”

“This was slow and thorough, one of those deep, wet kissing that movies always seemed to show but real-life never lives up to… until now.”

My Review:

I have now read 3 series by M.S. Parker and hope to read many more. She brings the heat and writes good smut - contented sigh - a not so guilty pleasure. Her writing is easy to read and follow, and tends to sneak up on me. This story in particular took many unexpected twists and turns and squeezed my heart. My emotions frequently yo-yoed and I alternating between wanting to slap the main character on the back of the head for being so naïve, to feeling her hope with each new relationship, then plummeting with her shame, humiliation, and heartbreak. And always oh sooo steamy. This old cougar is purring…

I have loved every single book I've read by M.S. Parker and this was no exception. Sinful Desires is a 5 part series. Although Piper attended an expensive private school; she did not belong and was not part of the elite. Her life after graduation is not what she dreamed it would be. After attending her high school reunion and ending up in bed with her high school crush, things don’t get better. But sometimes in life we have to go through the bad to find the good. Each book in the series ends with a hell of a cliffhanger and some shockers! It all wraps out nicely in book 5. You never know when and where you will find true love! The ending was perfect! Would love a continuation……

This is the fifth and final volume in the Sinful Desire Series and should be read in order.

Just when things started to settle down and go the way Piper wanted them to, Reed shows up and tells her he has ended his marriage. This should be what Piper wanted but she is torn between her high school crush and the man she’s gotten to know of the past few months.

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

It finally happened! Julien and Piper finally took their relationship a step forward. I love that Piper took care of Julien, as he wasn’t sure what to do or where to go as he had just lost his father. Then Reed shows up declaring his feelings for her and telling her left his wife and finally manned up telling his parents he wouldn’t be forced to stay in a loveless marriage. This leaves Piper confused. She has Julien in her life who has been everything she could ever want. They’ve taken things slow, but she knows her previous career choice means nothing to him. Reed was everything she wanted when she was in high school. The question in her head now is, what Reed is offering is enough for her. The confusion is totally understandable as its not every day a girl has two men wanting to be with her. I like that she doesn’t just up and make the decision right away. Despite knowing she is going to hurt at least one person and she could lose them both she doesn’t rush into anything.

Julien has his own confusion to work through. The death of his father has hit him in a way that he never expected. How could he care so much that the cold-hearted man died? Seeing Piper and talking to her, helped him out. When they took their friendship to the next level it felt right to him. He’s wanted her from the moment he saw her step out onto stage not knowing she was dating Brock at the time. Everything he does, he does with Piper in mind, including giving her the time she needs to make the decision between the two men.

Reed selfishly shows up and expects Piper to just drop everything and jump into his arms when he tells her what he did for her. The problem is, Reed has been doing things for everyone else, not knowing what he really wants. He doesn’t give up on Piper and his feelings for her as they are truly genuine.

This volume kept me on the edge of my seat. After everything that happens in this volume and previous volumes, I was left guessing on how it would end. I knew who I wanted Piper to end up with but I was unsure if the happy ending I had in mind would be the one I would get. There were many possible endings for this story and two of them would’ve made me happy but M. S. Parker kept that secret until the very end. She finished this story in a way that has you wanting to go back to the beginning and read it all over again. I love how she tied up lose ends with all the characters throughout the book and gives us an ending that we wont soon forget. Sinful Desires is a great romance story you’ll never want to end!

Review for Sinful Desires Vols III, IV, and V

My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Stars

From the first to the fifth installment of Sinful Desires, M.S. Parker keeps you guessing what Piper's ultimate decision will be. Till the last few pages, you still aren't sure. Talk about dramatic tension!

Though some readers may think from this review that the story would be dragging because of that stretching out, it's the exact opposite. These short novels manage to engage and hold interest. Maybe, for me, partly because Piper's taste in men suck and make me debate between her being celibate for the rest of her life and ridding herself of men problems entirely or rooting for the dark horse in this story while putting the blinders on her so she'd know exactly where to go.

Sensual woman kissing her handsome husband
Piper has moved back to her hometown and reconnected with Anastascia. However, she's unwilling to be a moocher and moves into her own place near where she works and studies to be a dancer. Despite how she'd been wronged by Reed, she's grateful that he created a scholarship for her so she could finally study serious dance and make a name for herself with her talent rather than with her body.

Brock, far from being a night in shining armor, is proven to be exactly what Piper and Anastascia suspect him to be. This puts Piper under pressure and quite a lot of stress while circumstances are straightening out Brock's life for him. He has to answer for his "habits" and Justice is hellbent on collecting her due.
sinfuldesires5tease
Reed's marriage finally crumbles because of family problems and he declares himself free to Piper. Now that the boy of her dreams is available, will she take him up on his offer? Or will she take a risk and go after the man of her dreams instead?

This fun diversion is best read all at once because the endings of each installment test your patience. All, except the fifth of course, have those awful cliffhangers that make you want to crawl to the next part. Don't, I repeat, don't get them one at a time. You'll regret it, I promise you!

Sinful Desires is a prime example of why I hate installments; it's because I can't get to the ending fast enough. And that conclusion isn't in my hands to read! Augh! M.S. Parker, I don't know whether to admire you for writing so well I had to find out the end or hate you because I was waiting for the next part. But I think the admiration side wins. I think. Hehehe.

Oh man! I can’t believe this is over. I’m happy with how this ended, but I want more.

The last installment picks up right where the 4th ended. Reed showed up at Piper’s house and told her that he’s getting a divorce and wants to be with her. Of course this had to happen right after Piper acted on her feelings for Julien. Piper tells Reed she needs to think and asks him to leave. Julien leaves right after telling Piper the night before was a mistake. A mistake?? Et tu Julien???

Now Piper has to figure out what she wants. Does she want to be with Reed? Is he really going to get a divorce? Does Julien really think it was a mistake? His dad just died. Was he just vulnerable? Now he’s ignoring her calls too. What does it mean? Piper begins questioning his intentions. Was he like Brock?

Aside from the man drama, Piper is dancing now…..real dancing and she’s going to be in The Nutcracker. I’m glad our girl is finally doing what she loves.

I’m so glad Piper came home and Ana has been a great friend to her. With this decision Piper needs to make, Ana knows what Piper really wants, but she doesn’t push Piper. She lets her figure it out on her own. When Piper finally figures it out, she handles the situation in a grown up way even though it’s hard.

The guy she really chooses thinks she made the other choice and Piper has to be the one to put her feelings on the line. What she finds when she goes to him, though, isn’t what she expected.

Want to know what happens???? Read this series! You will not be disappointed. I love it. I still want to know what happens to Ana. I’m also interested in hearing about what happens to the man she didn’t choose.

I am glad we got some resolution with the Brock situation and it’s good that Rebecca got what she deserved too.
I’ll definitely be rereading this one. I’m having a book hangover now.

To be honest, I did not know how this series would end. I was on the fence myself on who Piper should end up with. She’s been burned so many times in her life and making the decision of who you are going to love and spend the rest of your life with is a hard one to say the least. She definitely had her work cut out for her but I was extremely happy with how things turned out.

Brock is out of the running. I know he could have woken up and decided to be a genuine guy but all the trust is lost with him. He did Piper so wrong and left a hole in her heart because she was starting to fall for him. Then his true colors came out and his rear end hit the curb!

Reed made the ultimate grand gesture. He left his wife, left his family’s company behind, and walked away from everything he knew to be with Piper. Piper has trust issues with Reed too, but her long time crush could help her move past those. Will his grand gesture be enough to sway Piper in Reed’s direction?

Last but never least is Julien. He has done nothing but be a loyal and true friend to Piper. He stood up for her against his friend. He has helped her make her way since moving back to Pennsylvania. After one night of passion, feelings are stirred but that is the same time that Reed makes his declaration to Piper.

What is she going to do? You’ll have to read to find out! I loved this series! Piper is strong, sexy, and amazing. I am so happy that all her dreams are finally coming true and she has a great man by her side. The books are well written and hook you early on! I could not put them down. As soon as they showed up in my kindle, I devoured them. The hot and steamy….holy hell! Have a fan nearby! If you haven’t started the series, get to 1-clicking!

Now that Piper and Julien have slept together things between them get awkward. At Julien’s dad’s funeral Reed corners Pipers and gets to agree to meet him for dinner so they can discuss the future of their relationship. As Piper agrees, she thinks that she catches a glimpse of Julien passing by but can’t be sure. Piper tries to reach out and contact Julien through calls and texts; all go without an answer.
The day for Pipers’ dinner with Reed arrives. Piper bravely tells Reed that they can’t have a relationship; he had just been her teenage dream and she was in love with someone else. After dinner, Piper swings by Julien’s apartment to tell him how she feels. When Julien answers the door fresh from a shower, Piper sees a women with a towel around her. Hurt and confused, Piper takes off. Julien finally catches Piper is able to share his feels (which are the same as Pipers) and the two end-up together.
Sinful Desires I-V was a fast-paced interesting story. There was a little bit of everything-love, friendship, teenage dreams coming true, lies, which all made for a spectacular love triangle. The books were well-written and had interesting characters that came alive with Ms. Parker’s writing. Each book is approximately 100 pages which I read the entire series over an afternoon. This series needs to be read in order and is an added bonus if you are able to read them all at one time. I enjoyed this series as I have enjoyed Ms. Parker’s other books.

The surprises just keep coming in the last book of the Sinful Desires series. Piper needs to make a decision, will she give the man of her dreams a second chance or pursue a new love interest? As in all of MS Parker's books the sexual tension is smoldering and the dream that Piper has is very well executed. It is a great device to help her decide what road to travel in her life. As always, mistakes are made and situations misread but the road to Piper's HEA seems to be clear; if she would just stay out of her own damn way. As parts of her life come together, the romantic part seems to fall apart. Does she choose a second chance with her high school love or the new man who doesn't push his way into her life like a steamroller, but instead plants a seed of friendship that could lead to something more. All of the main characters seem to have grown in this series, except for Brock but he gets his just reward in the end. Reed grows a spine and stands up to his family and Piper decides that she is no longer a victim of circumstance. She can change her destiny and she works hard to do just that. While I was unsure of which man she would choose, the choice she made is ultimately the right choice for both of them. This series was a little different than the two previous series I read, more emotion based and heartfelt. Poor Piper had to go through the mill to get her HEA, but the journey for the reader is engaging.

Piper now has a decision to make and she has to chose between Reed declaration of love for her and her true feelings for Julien. Since Reed turned up and she sent him away, she has noticed that Julien hasn't been himself, she is trying her hardest to attempt to talk to him but no matter how much she tries she doesn't seem to be getting anywhere.

Everything seems to be getting to her as she has so much time to think, it's that much that she managed to lose focus whilst she was at her dance lessons which resulted in her hurting her ankle and needing to rest it for a bit. Piper realises that she is in love with Julien but has no idea what to do about it as no matter how much she tries to contact him he refuses to take any of her calls or messages.

I honestly hope that Julien decides to respond back to Piper as I would love for them to be together. At first when I did start reading this series I honestly hoped that Reed and Piper would get together but now that Julien has been introduced I would love him and Piper to get together as they have been through a lot together and have helped each other. Honestly the ending for this series is truly amazing and I recommend that you give it a try. I am happy to have had the opportunity to read this series and I hope you agree with me.

Oh how am I to review this book without giving it all away! I love this series so much. In this book we get Piper's final choice. I seen it coming and I love that it ended this way. To me this is the perfect ending to the perfect series. M.S. Parker at her finest and I am honored to get to read it. GAH, I don't know how to express my feelings on this without giving the whole thing away. So I will simply say that I LOVED IT and you will too. Well written series, with twist and turns, heartache and heartbreak, following dreams and finding who you are, all mixed in with steamy sex and romance. I think this is just about the most perfect series I have read this year and I think readers everywhere will be pulled in by Parker's way of writing a tale and leaving you hanging bit by bit until the final showdown. A finally that will blow you away and still leave you hoping for just a few more pages in the life of her characters!

The final installment. Finally Piper has made her decision. Although it should've been a hard choice, but one dream made it incredibly easy. Only now she has to find the men and make them understand her choice.

I felt like we were just expected to believe that one simple dream (a sex dream at that) told her who she loved. Not all this person had done for her or all that this person had supported her in, but a dream, about sex. Nope. Didn't work for me. Lacked emotion and believably for me.

The wrap up itself was decent, but I think I'll be sticking to full novels that can expand on emotions and situations more than focus on the sexual relationship between characters.

This was my favourite book in the series and everything gets wrapped up with a nice HEA for Piper. While having to decide which way her heart wants to go, Piper feels like her life is spiralling out of control. She misses her friend and after an enlightening dream she realises where her heart belongs. Is it too late though? Will she get a HEA with the man she loves or will she find her HEA with her new single life and enjoying her career in dance?

Overall this series was fast paced, never ever dull and kept me entertained the whole way through. While I often found myself questioning what the hell Piper was thinking I found her character grew as the series went on and that sometimes it takes kissing a lot of frogs to find your prince :)

Piper has been put through the ringer and then some. From finally hooking up with her crush only to learn he is spoken for to finding out that she was drugged and taken advantage of by someone she had grown to trust and then some. Julien has been there for most of her trials and stuck by her asking for nothing more than her friendship. Now back in Philly and going after her dream she is happy and moving forward. Hopefully with Julien. Then Reed comes along and throws a wrench in her life yet again. With all the miscommunication will Piper be able to win back the one she feels is her soul mate? Will Reed manage to swoop in and sweep Piper off her feet once again? Will Piper finally get a real chance to live out her dream? You have GOT to read the stunning conclusion to this series.

This series is incredible!!!! I loved every single second of it. The characters, plot line and dialogue are written to absolute perfection. Some of the characters you will fall in love with and others you will hate. This happened to me. One character I hated and the others I loved. The ending may come and a surprise to some and to others it may be expected. I loved the ending and how it turned out. With that being said, I would also like to see an alternate ending, just to see what would have happened if she chose someone else!!! M.S Parker did a phenomenal job with this series and I will definitely be rereading it again in the future!!!! 5 HUGE STARS!!!

Incredible! M.S. Parker left us with a nasty cliffhanger in book 4 but was so worth the wait after reading Sinful Desires 5. I love how Piper is growing with the courage to make decisions that are going to define her future. She's finally thinking about her happiness and what choices will help her achieve that! Julian, Reed, and Ana are instrumental players in Piper's future but one man will capture her heart as well. This entire series is a must read. An HEA, cliffhangers, and sexy scenes-Sinful Desires definitely lives up to it's title. Congratulations M.S. Parker this series was sinfully delicious.

Wow!!! This series has been a major roller coaster ride. Piper has had more ups and down in her love life than you can count, has been thrown from one extreme to another and has pulled herself up from her boot straps and grown. When Reed shows up and tells Piper that his marriage is over she is torn to decide between her old feeling for him and the feelings she is slowly developing for Julien... I wanted to cheer when she makes that decision, and cry with the struggles between her and Julien.

When a book can make you feel that much emotion then you know that there is something special there. I hope you enjoy reading this series.

Nothing is ever simple in Piper's world!

Her relationship with Julien escalates, and when he turns to her after a painful lost, she realizes that their friendship was so much more. But Reed re-appears and everything blows up in smoke.

The drama in this episode kept my attention as I wondered which direction Piper would choose. I hoped she would make the right choice; my choice, but I just didn't know. Yes, M. S. Parker you kept me on the edge of my seat with this installment. Eventually, giving Brock his due justice and Piper the happily ever after she deserves! Four hearts on story well told.

I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was able to connect to the characters. The story has laughs and a passionate ending.

After Reed announces his intent to get Piper back Julien leaves after calling the time they were together a mistake. Piper is so confused Reed keeps bugging about getting together and Julien is ignoring all her calls. Will she get the man she wants or end up all alone?

I loved these characters and also the side characters. This story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and this series.

I don't like to give alot away on reviews, because I feel like there are plenty of other people that do that and I just like to give my opinion of the book. This whole series was awesome! Every emotion happens in each one! Some times you want to slap all of them to wake up, and then again you feel so bad for them! Definitely a love/hate relationship with these characters! I was surprised I felt so bad for Reed in this book, but I'm glad Piper figured out who had her heart. I LOVE a happy ending! Great series M.S. Parker!!

This whole series was captivating from the very start. Each instalment was addictive and gripping and leaves you longing for the next part to see what's coming next. The author leads you to believe where the plots going, only to take you in a complete new direction adding more anticipation to the reading experience.

The books are short but still packed with everything you could desire from a fantastic read. Sex, twists & turns and characters you will love and hate. The whole journey kept me guessing till the finale, and what a climax it was. Would definitely recommend.

Best one yet! This serial went up and down for me, but in the end, I'm a big fan. I really liked the journey of acceptance Piper ended up traveling and I thought the conclusion was perfect. I did make the mistake of starting it late at night, and stayed up until the wee hours in order to finish it in one sitting. I loved how Piper came to her decision and described her "perfect man". It was written so wonderfully, but also revealed how much she grew over the six months. I'll leave it at that to avoid any hints or spoilers. I'll most definitely read more by the author.
