Reverend John Spink is in a right old sulk. Having recently lost his slot on BBC radio's 'Thought for the Day' he now finds himself being slyly mocked over the airwaves by his replacement and long-standing Anglican rival Gerald Poinchester. With his local reputation and a celebrity wedding to play for Spink finds himself drawn into a bitter feud with his fellow 'trespasser,' with unexpectedly comic results.
Paul Bisson was born in 1976 on the Channel Island of Jersey. Having attended Liverpool University he spent five years teaching English at a secondary school in North London, before returning to Jersey in 2002, where he currently works as a college lecturer and semi-professional musician. He has contributed stories to various local anthologies, and has written three novels; Coyote Jack and the Bluebirds (2012), Marigold Dark (2015) and Soledad (2019). Paul is married with three children and is vice-chair of Jersey Festival of Words.
