Now that summer has arrived, Kate and Holly are off to Beaumont Park in England—home of rock-star horses, Olympic equestrians, and a private beach for the girls to ride on.

Kate is excited about training with her idols. Holly is even more excited about making friends with a real-live princess and attending the London premiere of Moonlight.

This is the stuff dreams are made of.

But beneath the glossy surface lurks danger. After a quarrel with Kate, Holly storms off with the princess and lands in more trouble than she ever bargained for.

While not as good as the previous books this was still enjoyable. At last the girls travel to England to attend the prestigious riding school. Also in attendance is Isabel or Twiggy a princess from some obscure country that was swept away after a war or something. Holly latches on to the princess, Kate feels left out and their friendship is threatened. To make matters worse the London premiere is happening while they are in England and Adam and Twiggy both want Holly to go. Given what happened at the last premiere Kate doesn't want to go and it seems their friendship is once again thrown into turmoil. Then disaster strikes at the premiere which changes everything. As I said not quite as good as the others maybe Angela is what makes this series? Or just the setting of Timber Ridge? We did see Bucaneer the mint loving horse again and the book ended on a very happy note which makes the next book something to look forward to.

Wow, I love these books. I just finished reading this, and my head is still spinning.

I'm obviously not a creative writer, because once again I have to say this is my favourite of the series. Thank goodness Maggie Dana is a very creative writer and manages to keep this series fresh and new with every installment.

This book starts off with a much lighter tone than the last one, it's all about the girls, horses, riding and travelling across the pond to train with Jen's aunt. It felt so refreshing, and i love how the main character keep evolving and maturing, just like girls in real life would. There are some new characters (and horses), and some previous ones resurface (also LIKE).

About halfway through, the plot veers off on a tangent and it's action packed until the last page. I couldn't help but read faster and faster, needing to know how it turns out.

LOVE the book, LOVE the series, LOVE Maggie Dana. Another winner.

Can I have the next one NOW please? I need to know what happens next.

Maggie Dana doesn't disappoint in Book Ten of this series. Kate and Holly are invited to England to study with some top trainers and ride some fabulous horses. But things go awry almost immediately, and these best friends (whose relationship is almost like sisters) have a tough time overcoming their pride and feelings to sort things out. Besides getting to know Kate and Holly better, I loved the introduction of some great new characters into this series (both horse and human.) And midway through, the story takes an abrupt turn toward an adventure that is totally unexpected.

As a reader of all of the Timber Ridge Riders Books, I had somehow thought that Book Ten (being such a nice, round number) might wrap up all of the plot lines and end the series. Instead, Ms. Dana simply leaves us wanting more. More of the new characters, more of the horse drama, and more of her stories that are guaranteed to delight and inspire young horse-loving readers. Good job!

*I received a copy of this novel through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.*

This is the tenth installment in the Timber Ridge series and out of the ones I've read it is my favorite. Holly was a bit annoying at times, but she is a teenage girl so I understand. Kate had her moments, but I find her easier to relate to. The horse side of the book was fun. It's nice to see an author correctly explain tack, movements, and other horse related things.

Flying Changes is the tenth installment of the Timber Ridge Riders series. This time Kate and Holly find themselves on a London adventure. The girls find themselves in a conflict of jealousy and a test of their friendship. There is some action and some suspense and of course horses!
I love having a good, clean book for my daughter and me to enjoy together. And love how there is a good lesson to learn at the end. There's also a big surprise!
I love this series.

Summer read

What a great series for a fast summer read..a little kiddish but fun. At least most of the horse terms are correct if not a little little girly unreal. Perfect for a horse crazy girl or young adult..even an old horse crazy gal like me.
