She's terrified he might sue for custody! Meanwhile, the World War II letters she found are a fascinating distraction. 1105 Yakima Street used to be a happy place. It's prospering, her daughters and dogs are doing well, and her relationship with veterinarian Ted Reynolds is showing lots of romantic promise. But…then someone leaves a basket of puppies on the doorstep. That's complication number one. Number two is that her daughters have invited their dad, Beth's long-divorced husband, to Cedar Cove for Christmas! These are the final four stories set in Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove, Washington. I love being able to return to characters I've come to know and enjoy. The idea of combining 4 books into a volume allows me to keep reading without having to stop and purchase a new book.
The plots are varied and kept up my interest. I did get a bit confused since there are so many characters and the stories keep moving back and forth.
Debbie is a great writer who makes a community come alive and causes you to care about it.
I loved this series, but this last book was only OK. I would have liked for there to have been a little more action in the characters. It's almost too sweet for it to be the last book. But, all in all, I will miss the characters. I felt like I really was part of the Cedar Cove family.
The last four books in this series summed it up well. Everyone's stories got wrapped up but I won't mention if all ended happily. Good stories and nice fast reads.
Loved the characters! Situations were very interesting and kept me intrigued!would definitely recommend Debbie Macomber books to my friends! Thank you for these marvelous stories that I can identify with - like Charlotte Rhodes and her cooking and then loss of
Loved the stories! I loved the characters and could identify with a lot of them- like Charlotte Rhodes and her cooking and then her memory issues are like my mom! Would definitely recommend Debbie Macomber books to my friends!
I have put off giving a review until I finished the last book not because I didn't think it would be good but knew the review would cover all twelve books and I was right. I enjoyed each and every one and spent many a late night because I couldn't stop reading. I particularly liked the fact that Debbie ended the series with how each couple had turned out and ofcourse each were very happy as were the ten puppies plus Beau😊
I am such a fan of all of Debbie Macomber's books and this series was no exception! I didn't want them to end, as I feel with all of her books! She draws you into the stories and keeps you there until the last book you are still wanting more! Guess that's the calling card of a good storyteller!
I started from the beginning, and read each book and fell in love with the characters of Cedar Cove. Now that I have read all of the books I need more. Guess I will visit another of Ms Maccomber’s towns and fall in love again
This whole series is like a warm cup of cocoa on a cold winter day. Not terribly exciting but very comforting. I like the continuing characters a lot. The last book wasn't too good imo but the rest of the series was excellent.
I wrote this review because I really enjoyed reading the book. l love keeping up with the lives of all the characters and see what direction there life was going in. I have enjoyed all Debbie Macomber books. I will recommend this series to my friends.
I laughed! I cried! I wasn’t ready for the series to end! I’d recommend it to anyone! Amazing! Debbie has a way of making you fall in love with the characters!
Enjoyed this series and miss the characters now that I’m finished. The last book was a bit of a let down but all in all, a very enjoyable read. Think I’ll wait a while before starting another series.
Couldn’t put this book down, another great book that made you feel like the characters were your friends. Can’t wait to get another Debbie Macomber book.
I’m a sucker for Debbie Macomber. Her people seem real and so do the situations they get into and out of. True love at the end and a happily ever after all around.
I thoroughly enjoyed these series of books. I found the last chapter boring. It was a recap of each group of characters. I read the entire series so I did not need a recap.
I just love the Cedar Cove series! The characters became good friends! Debbie does such a great job with the details of the story and the characters. I hope to read more of this great series!
