She grew up wilting in the shadow of her father and his motorcycle club. The military saved her for a time, but that career came to an abrupt, humiliating end recently.
Now, ready or not, she’s on her way back to daddy’s full-throttle world.
Lennox Zade A.K.A Menace, or inmate, as he’s often called these days, is becoming accustomed to a much less figurative cage as he stares down a life sentence for attempted murder.
She sees him as a safe sounding board for her frustration and a dark and steamy pen pal.
How could it go wrong?
He was someone familiar with the Dirty Savage’s world. Someone who would never be free enough to repeat her most uncensored thoughts and venting.
It was a solid plan until obsession got the best of him and he risked it all.
He’s escaped the county jail and there is only one thing on his mind.
Making her understand she is his, whether she knows it or not.

Samantha is the Dirty Savages MC Princess and wants out of that life so she joins the Marines. Things took a turn and now she was back home and dealing with her issues. Menace/Inmate was a problem at his club and was now in prison…that is until he wasn’t. Sammy and Menace began as pen pals and Sammy felt that she could open up to him and now he was looking for a way out. This book does end in a cliffhanger but well worth it.
He is in the local MC, grew up hard, without knowing his dad. When his brother is attacked he wants justice, what he doesn't expect is to get set up to take out a member of the Irish Mob who are now gunning for him. He is also stuck in county where he is a sitting duck, facing charges, and his club is angry with him. He can't do much from where he is, but when one of his MC brothers asks for help with his sister who is also the MC Prez's daughter, he has nothing better to do . What he doesn't expect is to fall for the girl. She is fresh out of the service, not by her choice and resentful that she has to be back in town a place she thought she left in the rear view mirror. Now this guy from the club is writing to her, and he feels like the only one she can confide in. When things go to hell and he is on the run, she finds herself in a position she never expected to be. These were very unique and compelling characters, that was done really well in addition to the axillary characters in the story. There were times when I felt the conversation didn't flow correctly and it either jumped or I could not follow how we got from a to c, but it was still an original and enjoyable read. This story is mostly about the couple but it is definitely setting up the series with backstory and laying out other characters. This is important because while I would not call this a duet, and it isn't exactly a cliffhanger, it also isn't completely resolved and clearly going to pick back up in the next book, however they won't be the "stars" of that story, unlike how a duet typically works. That story concept is a little bit different. I am looking forward to the next book with how this one was set up. I want to see these two get their forever hea, and not just the hea for now as we still have issues to resolve. I also want to see what happens with the characters who are set up to be the focus of the next installment.

It was a very good story, got grit, wasn't heavy on biker stuff. Sammy and Menace don't personally know one another so there was no love from afar or anything like that. I find there was sensitive topic with the cancers of 2 of the women in this story and one is losing her fight, that brought up memories of 2 years to almost the date of this review where I was taking care of my mother whom lost her fight to cancer and I been where Rumi (Menace's Niece) was and watching your mother get weaker and weaker to the point where she was unresponsive no matter how loud you got calling her name. So that was a bit hard on me to read.
We first meet Menace half drunk and thinking about avenging his blood brothers' accident and what happened to him in recovery due to another's group involvement and what happens afterwards causing his President to throw in the towel with Menace and don't bother to help him while in prison. Until a prospect, Sauce 'Maliki' Nash unloading something onto him to cause Menace to start a pen pal from his cell to the club princess, Sammy.
Samatha well lets just say she got with a fellow soldier, he did all the sweet words & promises but fails to tell her what he is and what he's carrying to leads Sammy to lose her life in a few ways. Depression sets in and she's trying to be strong but even the strong can break when given the comfort to break. Little did she know just a simple letter from an inmate that can turn her life around or so she thinks.
Samatha 'Sammy' Nash, 22, only daughter of siblings of the Dirty Savages M.C. President Ziggy Nash, Sergeant in the Marine Corp. Lennox 'Menace' Zade, 25, Road Captain, younger brother of Hendrix 'Henny' Wilde, V.P of the Dirty Savages.
It's a standalone but it's also a cliffhanger that continues on into the next story with Ziggy, Sam's dad and what he agreed to do to save his Babygirl.
Whoa. This book is a lot. Menace is definitely an antihero, with a life expectancy about the same as a gallon of milk. He’s a straight-up killer and his bad temper and smart mouth have gotten him into plenty of trouble. Sammy is former military, out bad. She is the MC princess and is crazy in love with Menace. The story gave me plenty to think about- like the fact that my therapist will be able to put on a new deck because I find Menace to be really hot. The book ends with a HFN (see expiration date like milk), and a cliffhanger, which I normally hate but was completely appropriate here. Either way, I’m not going to forget this story, and it made me think, so that gets it five stars. MMC/ FMC- Menace and Sammy Triggers- oh, son. If you’re looking for sweet and safe, you are barking up the wrong tree. Heck, you’re in the wrong forest. Triggers include but are not limited to graphic violence, language, discussion of loss of a toddler, dub con, past abuse…. Tropes- Morally Grey, Inmate, Love On a Run, Club Princess, Dysfunctional Family FTW, J/P Hero, Star-Crossed Lovers.

Pen Me is suspenseful and a page turning MC romance story. This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading it. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. Pen Me follows the journey of Menace and Sammy. I absolutely enjoyed getting to know both of these characters as well as witnessing their story unfolding throughout the book. The chemistry between Menace and Sammy is absolutely breathtaking and undeniably irresistible. I absolutely love that these two characters have a happy ending to their story with them being happy together as a couple. Pen Me is amazingly written, exceptionally balanced and beautifully executed by Tyranni Thomas. She continues to showcase what a brilliant author she is with each book I’ve read by her thus far. I would absolutely recommend this book for anyone who enjoys reading MC romances. I’m looking forward to reading more phenomenal romances from this author in the future.

Menace and Sammy Jo have a very complicated and difficult path to a relationship. Their similarities of background make the problems they face easily understandable, but their hearts are willing to accept risks. Menace is his own worst enemy: easy to anger, alcohol, and family creates dangerous situations that affect him and his MC. Sammy is a protector, nurturer, and was taken advantage of by a man who had no intention of being her forever. I love the gritty, rawness of Tyranni’s stories and how realistic the characters feel. The emotional connection between Menace and Sammy is beautiful and extremely passionate. The relationships with other family members and the MC makes everything more intense, especially when danger threatens lives. I really hope they have a future and the next book should be very interesting!! Loved it!!.

Series opener, he is a member of the local MC and seeks revenge after his brother is attacked. But following mistaken identity, ends up in jail with his MC brothers pissed at him. She's the returning MC Princess, dishonourably discharged from the military, resentful of her situation and after her brother intervened, they write to each other. Then it all goes to hell and he's on the run, but not without her.
I liked the original nature of this story and it's HFN ending but I'm guessing this will pop up more in the future to see how it all ends. I'll keep my tissues handy.
A different sort of dark MC novel. I'm invested and will read on.
Sammy knew the mc world and escaped it for a while in the military until it came crushing down around her, she ends up back home, and engaging with a pen pal prisoner. Menace (inmate) was looking at a life sentence, one Sammy felt safe to confide in, but he has plans of his own, escape and making her his! Well written engaging fast paced steamy and more!.

Sammy and Menace aka Inmate had my emotions running all over the place. She escaped MC life by going to the military but is now back home to the chaos she tried to escape. She connects with Menace through letters where she unleashes all of her feelings and desires. It is a gripping story that had me connecting with the characters as it unfolds.

Woah. Tyranni is a new author for me and I am sticking with them. I loved this so much. I haven't read many pen pal stories at all and I loved this trope. I always love MC romances and we get that too. I loved their bond and their chemistry. It was simply amazing and I'm super excited for the next one.

This series starts with a newly ex-military Samantha and the newly locked up biker Menace. His club prez also happens to be her father, her younger brother and his older brother are club members too. Got it all? Don’t worry, just strap yourself in for one helluva ride which has only just started. Dark, dangerous, steamy and possessive, oh yeah baby!.

Pen Me is absolutely and completely fantastic! This book had my feelings all over the place and these characters had my heart racing. Sometimes out of utter anger and others for the pain they felt. Menace, Sammy and the rest of these characters definitely keep you on your toes. Pen Me ends on a cliffhanger and I'm excited to see what's coming in Not Your Romeo!
OMG!! Loved this story. Emotional, well written storyline with relatable characters. Caring and compassion between main characters. Chemistry was off the charts good. Story was full of exciting plot twists. Just the right amount od drama, secrets, and suspense. Highly recommend!!.

I loved that I was able to finish this in a day, due to the characters being easy to like. Who doesn't like a story about a bad biker boy and a smart mouthed woman who is also a Marine to boot? I didn't see that ending coming at all. I can't wait to see what happens next.
the pen pal/writing letters to each other bit was cute and entertaining but it was FAR too short. two women having cancer was also sensitive for me. from the time he was out of prison it went down which was the majority of the book lol
