Honestly, If it was not for the f word and the constant swearing, this could have been a regular harlequin romance novel.
And I loved it.

The revenge thing was a little overdone but hell it worked on me at least!
I was so mad when the hero goes to get her back from the "father from hell" and she wanted to keep the peace.

What part of he tired to kill you did you not understand?

Anyways, she sees the light soon enough but I was yelling for a good two minutes.

Cute little story and I loved how crazy he gets about her.
The minute he sees her, he goes a little crazy.
That was so hot and so was their sex.

I can't say what it was that made it work for me but I am so glad he did not resort to raping her on that bed in that rats nest.
I don't know if I could have gotten on board with the book them.
However, given their vengeance vendetta thing that would have made sense.
Just glad it didn't!

I think this is my first book by Nicole Snow and so far I quite like her writing style. Reminds me of other authors, like Alexa Riley or Jordan Silver.

I wasn't sure I'd like the hero but at the end he did grow on me. Thankfully we also get his POV, otherwise I would't be so forgiving of his behaviour towards the heroine. He can be an asshole, but one that's got his heart in the right place. As for the heroine, most of the time I just felt sorry for her. Her life hets turned upside down and she is betrayed by the person she trusted the most. I'm glad it all worked out for those two, they do deserve their HEA.

Safety-gang: Not sure, if it's safe. The first time they meet, H almost rapes her and when he does finally take her virginity he is gentle but to me it still felt wrong. No OM, cheating, OW. No condoms.

Pero no es que mejore después. A mí me vas a perdonar pero el pedazo de mierda este me llama mascota, y de la patada en las pelotas que le meto se le suben a la garganta. No entiendo a esta chica, no entiendo cómo puede amarlo, como puede gustarle y como pudo soportar todo, desde el principio al final. Ha sido enfermo este libro porque no tiene otro nombre.
Las dos estrellas se las doy porque lo único bueno que hubo fue el epílogo. Que si te olvidas de cómo es la relación puede parecerte bonito. Lo demás, salido de la cabeza de alguien a quien una relación tan jodida como esa le parece normal 🤦🏻‍♀️

If you enjoy reading fast paced books, then this one is for you! Nichole did a fabulous job in the storyline and all the twists and turns that captures your attention. But its just that, blink and you miss vital information. So you're asking why the low marks for all the high praise I'm dishing out.

Aghhhh where to begin, the plot moves so quickly you reel with her capture, yes as far as I'm concerned Anna is kidnapped. Then she's shown a marriage contract claiming she's mentally incompetent to sign, but married never the less. Sorry but that's just not realistic, then she's forced to have sex. Okay if that's not rape then please...please tell me what is. Was it coercion, ughh no, being held down and made to enjoy sex is not a willing participant. From there its a loves feast?

Twenty four hours later, David mentally professes his loves, and pictures a delusional life. What the hell, how can you even think Anna would love David that fast after everything shes been through? Or when he stupidly says "your my wife and I'm gonna breed a child into you!"

What is she a pedigree dog he's gonna mate with and she's gonna be all lovey dovey and forgive the jackass! I don't think so!
I could keep going but I'd rather not, so read at your own risk.

But for me, sometimes, that is exactly what I want in a book. In the ongoing war between the Russian Mob and the Mafia, the Rossini & Strelkov families are the worst as they have a long standing feud that will only end when all members of one family are dead.

Annaliza Rossini, her father's one pride and joy, doesn't know what to think when her father asks her to quickly pack to go to an undisclosed location. He says it's safe and necessary but Anna has her doubts especially after a late night visitor breaks in and treats her as his own personal sex play toy bringing her to orgasm after orgasm.

David Strelkov might have made a deal with the devil but has his reasons. Reasons he doesn't plan on sharing with the daughter of his greatest enemy. Her role is secondary to his ultimate goal but that doesn't mean he won't enjoy having Anna in his bed to fulfill his every perverted needs.

The battle of the sexes has nothing on the battle of the crime families as one gains the one thing that will finally bring the other to their knees.

This was a story that was raunchy and dirty with alpha dominant sex galore along with a suspense subplot. I was lightheaded and giddy with joy after the first few scenes because it was so electrifying and hit all the high points in rough dub-con m/f sex. It pains me, it really does, that the later issues I had basically deflated my overall experience. If ever a story NEEDED to be fleshed out and developed more, this is one.

The HAWT toe curling sex scenes have a kinky D/s flavor that doesn't go far enough in giving the reader any sort of happy ending feelings if you know what I mean. It was a case of wham bam thank you ma'am. I know I'm repeating myself but this story was way too short to support the HEA ending that resulted. But. What's there is pretty damn satisfying nonetheless.

The cons are the very abrupt and sometimes disjointed scene cuts. A scene occurs. Fast forward. Land up somewhere and by the time I get comfortable with that scene. Scene cut. Fast forward. Repeat. Repeat. It's a shame the story wasn't broken into multiple books where the plot and world building could have been more developed. I say that because I totally LOVED the writing style of the author and it pains me to be negative.

Lastly, the issues in family loyalty made it hard for me to get on board with how things ultimately played out. Spoiler information makes it impossible to list all the contradictions and inconsistencies I had. Sorry.

Ultimately, I don't know whether to recommend this book to fans of contemporary erotic romance readers who love the down and dirty lifestyle of crime families or not. For the price of this book with the page count content (though to me it seems shorter in length) I guess it's a matter of budgets. Those who can afford it (it's not a lendable book) will probably appreciate it. Those on limited budgets might want to check out friends reviews before deciding.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. Holy cow is this book good. I am not much on 5 star reviews but this book from the first word to the very end I could not put it down. When I first started this book I was not sure if I would like David as a character or not but as the book went on he really grew on me as a strong character. Anna seems like a woman you think of more like a spoiled brat than a woman a man can fall in love with. However like David you will find yourself rooting for this character. David and Anna's families have been at war for a long time and though David knows all about it Anna has been kept in the dark. I liked the push and pull aspect of the characters and how when things seem bleak one or the other would do something that had you rooting all the more. There are many twists and turns I want to tell you about but I will not ruin the story for another person. What I will tell you is that from the first word to the very end you will be sucked into this story and not want to put it down. This book needs to be on everyone's must read list.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! David is such an alpha male, "well, babe? You gonna give me an answer or you just want to to with me all effing night?" He rolled forward, pushing his legs against my a**." But he may come across rough but he has a real sweet side when it comes to his lady, "he swept forward, reached out, and yanked me into his grasp. I exploded, burying my face into his collar, blubbering like a baby. "Calm your sweet a** down, babe. It's gonna be alright." He leaned in and kissed my forehead, which only made me cry harder. "Eff. Normally, I'd tan your hide raw for running off...." He is not bashful when it comes to his endowments, "don't worry, girl. Most men aren't hung like this. Not that you'll ever get another chance to find out. This c***'s the only c*** that'll ever be in you, understand? And that s*** you've heard about good things in small packages? Forget it. This effer's the best there is because it's so damn huge." He seriously is blunt ".....beautiful a** and we effed past midnight. Anything else you need to know?" I really loved this book and can't wait for more with this series.

Full of sex, swearing and completely OTT.


Firstly this is a love it or hate it kind of book so you've been warned, it's an insta-love (not normally my thing) with a big bad tattooed foul mouthed uncompromising alpha who knows exactly what he wants, it's completely OTT and unrealistic but I liked it.
Anna knows her father's in trouble but she's no idea just how bad it is but whatever it is it's the reason why she finds herself at night in a bed in a run down old house in a neighbourhood teeming with thugs and junkies but her father's men are outside keeping her safe so then why can she hear the steps creaking and her bedroom door opening.
Bad blood runs deep between the Rossini and the Strelkov families and David Strelkov is going to make Rossini pay by taking his virgin daughter Anna.
I enjoyed this book and I wanted more especially at the end, it's teeming with sex and swearing.
Only thing I didn't like and I know this is a personal but I didn't like David being called David I would have preferred Nikolai, Dimitri, Sergei something Russian would have worked better for me.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK. I didn't want to put the book down! it had me sitting on the edge of my seat through the whole story - I was rooting for David and Anna from the beginning. Two families in a decades old war.

Anna is told to pack and follow her dad and then left in a run down house - she has no idea why and not told a thing. in comes David and wow the sparks fly. He tells her in no uncertain terms that she belongs to him and him alone. the way he talks to her had me squirming in my seat. David is a bad ass alpha male and Anna is his virgin sacrifice, given to him in a signed contract by her father unbeknownst to her. David doesn't do flowers and such but he lets Anna know how he feels in his own way - phew - hot!! Anna's body answers his in the only way it knows how - her body craves his

When the war comes too close to home, David has to protect what is his and it does an amazing job of it

Im not sure how you will approach this one.

I love over the top heroes BUT this guy was over the top.

Pure escapism, hot sex and a ridiculously outrageous alpha male. He is also a criminal, a sexist cavemen and grunts non stop throughout this story. He is so over the top I couldnt stop laughing.

This hero, or anti-hero, won't be for everyone. He's a criminal, a killer; he's sexist and caveman, grunting his way throughout the story, all badass and controlling. So if you are a true feminist you wont want to read this. but if you are looking for an erotica/erotic romance with an extreme alpha male then this will be a good read for you.

Her is an example, "get this sh- through your head: you're mine, Anna. All mine. Only mine. And when I lay claim, I don't let go. Not for nothing. Nobody's gonna pry you out of my f'ing hands unless I'm dead."

This is a uncomplicated story and its not perfect but I love crazy, non-PC heroes. and it certainly had an entertainment factor.

If you want a short erotic story that includes a very dirty talking man, raunchy sex and quick moving action, this is your book. I would have loved for this book to be longer and the characters/plot drawn out more. It's the story of the son of Russian mobsters stealing the daughter of his Italian mafia enemy. The H's goal is to get the daughter pregnant, kill her father and thereby eliminate the war between the two families. The H is rich, coarse, handsome and OTT alpha. The writing is basic with no noticeable edit errors. I would rate the book 3.5 and believe it could have been so much better with a little more work.

Anna didn't know why she was in a dump of a house or who the men holding her hostage as waiting for. When David arrives and claims she is his, Anna wants to run. David is dark, tattooed and has a filthy mouth. He is exacting his revenge by claiming his rival's daughter as his own. David has underhandedly married her and plans to keep her, he did not expect to fall for her though and when Anna's father tries to intervene all hell breaks loose.

I was torn on this one, it was a bit uncomfortable initially and then it was too fast to wrap your head around. I think it needed a bit more development but the overall concept was intriguing.

WTF!!! How are y'all gone fall in love in 2 days!!! I almost DNF this, but the book wasn't all that long, so I felt I should just finish it!!

Anyways this book felt too fast. You didn't really get to know the characters and you don't know the beef between the mafia dudes. I would have liked to know why y'all beefin in the first place. I felt it was all about sex and breeding! Yes breeding!

Love Scars : Bad Boy's Bride de Nicole Snow es un libro que he querido leer desde hace un tiempo pero por una u otra razon siempre terminaba dandole prioridad a otras lecturas ... hasta ahora.
Esta historia fue justo lo que esperaba : una novela corta, ligera y sin mucha profundidad, no es la tipica historia que sigues recordando despues de terminarla, es entretenida y simple, perfecta para pasar un rato distraida.

Well... this book’s been on my wishlist for so long that I decided to give it a try. I don’t even remember why I added it.

So, this is a mafia romance. It starts pretty abruptly, right in the middle of chaos and it takes a while to understand the situation.
It’s a mafia war between two families that have been fighting for decades.
It’s pretty fast paced, everything happens fast.
A few things were left without answers and everything was just too fast.

It was definitely a fast read, took me 1 hour I think. I like this author but this book was not of of my favorites.

I started this first chapter ages ago, found I wasn't in the mood and put this down. Decided to clear my short tbr list and finished it.

I initially had a hard time liking the H. He seems pretty coldhearted and unfeeling, telling h to deal with the situation and tear are not gonna help. As we are given more of his pov, I find him quite fascinating as his initial obsession to making her preggo is actually tied to how much he loves her. H is a man of the underworld, a bad man to most of us, yet also a hard man that has seen a lot of the darker side of the world. Softness doesn't feature in his life. Hence even in his thoughts he doesn't really acknowledge h as anything more but a physical craving initially. Yet as the story progresses, his behavior and words leak his devotion to her, and while he doesn't sprout roses and rainbows, his actions to indulge her as well as to protect her certainly speaks louder than words. This is a man that is totally crazy about our h and would do anything to make her safe and happy, and what he wants in return is to be with her always and her love. It actually makes more sense to me for Snow to write him in such a way.

Our poor h is thrown under the bus literally quite a few times in this short read, and yet while it must be like living in a neverending nightmare to such a sheltered person, especially when she is virtually helpless to repelling them, she still never breaks and in her own way, stands strong yet still untainted by the bitterness of it all. It doesn't take a strong person to fight back or shoot, yet it really takes some strong mettle to keep your integrity and stay true to oneself in such a horrid situation. Our h also quickly figure out while H seems quite horrid and treats her like a pawn, he also encourages her to grow into her own and gives her straight no matter how unpleasant the situation is, essentially treating her as an adult person and not a trophy as he initially imitated.

While story is pretty short, there actually is quite a bit of depth to it as well as some interesting action thrown in. It isn't a obvious heart and flower romance, but I still quite enjoy it, especially when I find the characters quite fascinating.

The number of times David said he was” gonna breed her” was funny to me, but I actually loved it. I could tell that for Anna, escape from her father was never going to happen and to cleave to David, she needed some serious motivation. Nothing motivates a woman to protect what’s hers like a momma bear.

The story was fast, full of consenting aggressive lovin’ and totally out of my realm of reality…just perfect for the weekend I would say! Enjoy!

Asshole hero? Insta love? Creepy premise that I would never accept in real life? Yes to all of the above, and yet I still really enjoyed this one. The suspense aspect was fun, and the hero was so, so dirty. Like damn.



The basic set up is: heroine's and hero's families have been feuding for generations. Heroine's dad ends up owing a debt to the hero, and said model of parenthood essentially sells his daughter to save his skin. Hero sets out to humiliate and revenge himself upon the father by "defiling" his (virgin!) daughter, but ends up liking her and wanting to impregnate her (yeah, the breeding thing got a little weird but I went with it). The insta love is super quick, we're talking a matter of days here, but somehow it was believable here. So, go in prepared for a fun, hot little story with some surmountable weirdness along the way.
