The Aspen Hollow series has been so much fun. When The Pig Flame takes Brit Mikey to Tennessee to visit his old friend from school Laura. He didn't tell his family and he's been gone for almost 2 weeks, they are worried so they ask Jake to find him. Jake is Mikey's older brother, Nate's best friend and Mikey has always had a crush on him. Jake finds Mikey and discovers he has magical powers after never showing signs. Jake agrees to help him control it. They grow closer and begin a relationship. What will happen when evil witch hunters find them?

When Pigs Flame is the 4th book in the Aspen Hollow Series an interconnected series written by multiple authors. This book was written by Samantha Garri. This entire series has been so much fun so far.
Mikey has left home and gone to Tennessee, where he wanted to visit an old friend from school, Laura. He didn't tell his family that he was leaving or how long he was going to be long. After being gone for 2 weeks, his family asks Jake, Mikey's older brother to try and find him.
Mikey's family Jake to go and find him, Jake, and Nate have been best friends forever and Mikey is Nate's little brother and Mikey has always had a huge crush on Jake. And there has always been a flirtatious energy between Jake and Mikey, although Jake has for the most part ignored the energy. It has always seemed like Jake was always oblivious to the energy and Mikey just shook it off.
Jake finally finds Mikey and quickly realizes that Mikey is hiding out not because he doesn't want to go home, but because he has suddenly developed magic powers, powers that he never showed signs of possessing before.
Jake reluctantly agrees to help Mikey learn to control his powers so that he can return home at some point. But, while Mikey is learning to control his powers the two of them start to grow closer, and not only do they form a bond but they also begin a relationship.
But, what's going to happen when the evil witch hunters find them?
Through the book I really enjoyed seeing the transformation that Mikey went through. At the beginning of the book, Mikey was this naive and scared young man who didn't understand the power he held inside of himself. Slowly he worked through those issues showing the great power he held and the determination he had that he wanted to control his power. I just loved his growth.
But, Mikey wasn't the only one who changed in the book, Jake also changed, he started to realize the attraction between them, he opened himself up to the chemistry between them and he even opened himself up to the relationship between him and Mikey.
I loved how many mystical moments we got to see in this book and that was fitting as this book did mainly revolve around witchcraft unlike a lot of the other books in this series. It was really a very nice change. And I loved that we got to see some of the other characters from the previous books in this series. I loved that as well.
I highly recommend this series, and while each of these books is a standalone, I do recommend reading each of the books in order so that you can get to know the events of the previous books and the characters we have previously met so you know their stories and how they came to be in Aspen Hollow.
I am in love with this series and I can't wait to read the next book in this series and find out what happens next.

OMG!! When I say I loved this book, I LOVED it. Mikey and Jake are the cutest. With this being another installment in the Aspen Hollow series, I knew it was going to be just as captivating as the others, but man.... Mikey made this book. From the beginning, he's such a lovable character and gives off the annoying, petulant little brother vibes, and the reader automatically connects to him. Jake did grow on me by the fourth or fifth chapter, not gonna lie, but it's because he does give off big brother, protector vibes, and you get the feel from him immediately. It's hard to see his attraction for Mikey, but you know that it's coming, and when it happens, you love him just as much. Their romance is so sweet and pure initially, then grows to be steamy, and I loved every bit of reading them give in to their attraction as well as grow throughout the book.
This book is great. It has twists and turns, pop-ups of previous characters from the series, spice, and most of all, comedy. I laughed out loud so many times while reading it that I can't even recall. By far one of my favorites, but then I would say that all of the books out so far are my favorite of the series for different reasons each.

I've been loving this series, I just can't get enough of aspen hollow. I dived right in to the next I installment. When pigs flame, oh my days. What a beautiful read. I couldn't put it down. My first time reading a book by this author and it was amazing. If she brings more out I will definitely be reading them.
This is Mikey and Jake's story and they are just the cutest pair ever. I feel head over heels in love with them. Just couldn't get enough. Hooked from the get go.
Their flirtatiousness is addictive and all consuming.

Loved Reading Mikey and Jake’s Story!
Loving the town of Aspen Hollow and all of the stories about it’s residents. Each story is unique with a lot of cross over of characters and I just love that!
Mikey has settled into this sleepy town, escaping problems from his home country. Jake is tasked with finding him and also happens to be Mikey’s brother’s best friend. AND Mikey’s crush. The two have high chemistry and I fell in love with them as I read their story.
I you are looking for an amazing MM read, grab this one!

Jake is sent to the states to find his best friends brother not intenting to stick around or fall in love, but both things happen so silently Jake doesn’t realize they’ve happened until it’s too late for him to leave.

When Pigs Flame was such a fun, magical read. I loved being back in Aspen Hollow, and Jake and Mikey’s story was full of humor, heart, and just the right amount of chaos.
The second-chance vibes, forced proximity (one bed!), and lingering crush energy worked perfectly. Mikey is charming and a bit of a disaster, and Jake is the steady, reluctant hero who can’t help getting pulled back in. The magic, mystery, and slow reveal of secrets kept me hooked the whole way through.
As always, be mindful of trigger warnings. What I like, you may not.

Great book. I love the series so far. This was about Mikey. He disappeared from the UK and his parents were worried about him. Mikey’s brother Nate asked his best friend Jake to find him. They all had magical powers. Jake was able to find him in Tennessee at the B&B. He went from the UK to Tennessee to find him and make sure he was okay. He wasn’t answering his phone and it had been over 2 weeks. Jake learned a lot while he was there. Mikey did as well.

When Pigs Flame is another fantastic Aspen Hollow read. Samantha Garri had me hooked from page one, never guessing why Mikey ran away or what he was hiding. With plenty of laughs, a few near-tears, and twists that kept the tension burning, I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for book 5 in this multi-author series.

Book 4 of Aspen Hollow is our first MM and boy is it good. Mikey is missing and Jake is tasked by his best friend and his parents to find him. After scrying he finds him in Tennessee, this Brit does not want to chase after this troublemaker but he does and things flame from there.
