When a young tennis prodigy Merrick silences a crow that interrupts his perfect game, he gets much more than he bargained for. His sister Grace's warning falls on deaf "They remember faces. They communicate. They never forgive."
What begins as unbelievable corvid harassment escalates into calculated terror. The intelligent birds don't just attack—they strategize, turning the family's peaceful suburban life into a nightmare.
In this Hitchcockian tale of a battle between human and nature, can Merrick and his family stop the birds from taking their revenge? Not everyone will survive the crows' judgment.
Bestselling author of horror, thrillers, sci-fi and m/m romance, including The Whistler, I'm the Last Face You'll Ever See, The Four Corners of Horror and upcoming release They Kill.
Like his idol Alfred Hitchcock, he strives to bring suspense to his books.
I've probably not finished more than a handful of books that I've picked up and this was a dnf for me. Repititous. The author certainly wants us to know that crows are intelligent and the communicate with each other because he said it enough! I wanted to count how many times the word caw was written, but that would have taken days. I did count them on the last page I did read(at about the halfway mark) and it was 18 times! This could have been written is less than half as many pages. I emphatically do not recommend this book.
Scary but great..Goosebumps are real...Be careful of what's waiting around the corner...I don't know how I feel about the dad but he made his choice Read the book ..Just don't be a Merriick.....
If you enjoyed the birds by Alfred Hitchcock you will love this book. This author knows how to turn a book about crows into an extremely page turning edge of your seat gripping story.
