Well hello Oliver Van Doren!!! Jennifer, tsk tsk tsk. You naughty girl, you! I see what you did. You finally wrote a boy-obsessed who is teetering on the obsessive line - and barely so. And I am sooooo here for it! Because Oliver, the Big O??!?! OMG his obsession with Rina? Can you hear me screeching? Can you hear me gasping and waving a fan in my face while I squirm uncomfortably in my seat? Because I am! He's so totally and completely obsessed and in love with Rina that he's downright bossy and deliciously obsessed and possessive. Might this be your best and most obsessively "he falls first - and hard" mixed with "possessive" MMC? Why, ma'am, I think so! But then his bossy side?!?!?! Giiiiiiiirl. Can I just tell you how I melted? Of course being the strong women we are IRL, we HATE the idea of being bossed around by our IRL MMCs, but our fictional ones?!? All bets are off on that one. And how Jennifer has threaded Oliver's bossiness into this story? Omg, it's everything. But truthfully, it's not fully "bossiness" it's more like... he wants to take care of Rina - he loves her so much that he just wants her to have everything she doesn't even know she needs. Ugh, it's just so dang good.
That aside, "Show Me Forever" is the third book in the Chicago Railers Hockey series and can I tell you how much I am obsessed with this series? Because holy guacamole. I can't get enough. Can I also say how Jennifer teases other storylines throughout has me rabid for the next book! Like, right now? I NEED the next book - the grumpy goalie. Can I call dibs on him? Asking for a friend... I digress.
I never get into the particulars of a book in my reviews, but for me the above was a HUGE part of this book and it was so dang thrilling. I couldn't put this book down and I fell so hard for Rina and Oliver. They are so dynamic and amazing. And of course, like any Jennifer Sucevic book, the writing is top-notch, the story and world are so vivid and engaging, while the characters are just... dynamic. Just incredible.
Now, I say that so I can say this: this book? Omg, can we just say that it was pure poetry!!! Yes, I said it. I highlighted sooooo many lines in this book that just blew my socks off. The way that Jennifer has crafted the words in this book totally blew my mind because I was just in awe of how completely and totally poetic the words she used were. And let me tell you, I have literally read every single Jennifer book - no joke, every book! So I feel like I'm some sort of unofficial expert on the matter. So when I tell you that this book is poetry??? I completely, one-million-percent mean it. It got the point that I had to message Jennifer and I was like, "Ma'am! What type of poetic sorcery have you written???" My jaw was just on the ground and I had to read and re-read so many lines of this book and then I just gaped at it because I was in awe of her pure poetry. Like... I can't even put into proper words right now to describe it to you and frankly I'm probably butchering this, but just... just know this, this book is incredible. And while you read it, you need to make sure you slow yourself down so that you can truly take in the poetic magic that is unfolding on the pages before you.
Now, with that said... Jennifer? Ma'am, the next book? Just dedicate it to me right now because I'm claiming all of it. The way you teased that grumpy goalie and his FMC? I am obsessed and I don't even have a clue about the story yet. I just have a feeling that based on how OBSESSED I am with Oliver and Rina, I think that you will continue the trend in this series and that is that you make me fall soooo hard for each new couple, and so even though I'm currently living in the afterglow of Oliver and Rina, the way you teased the next book, I'm already salivating. So, put me in coach - I'm ready to one-hundred-percent go feral for your next story while I am still recovering from this one!
This was my first book from Jennifer and I really enjoyed it! Definitely wanting to go back to the beginning of the series and also continue to see where it goes!
Accidental pregnancy is my favorite trope so when I saw this included I knew it was the perfect way to introduce me to Jennifer’s writing. I loved how the girl group and the players all were connected and they had their own little found family. The book was also very easy to follow without reading the first two books yet, which I’m now eager to read!
The way Oliver was so down bad for Rina from the beginning! I loved how he put in the work and pursued her. Even before he found out Rina was pregnant he was all in and waiting for Rina to give him a chance to show he was all in. He moves fast and is eager but also understands Rina has fears and insecurities and works to try and be patient for her.
Cannot wait to come back to this little Railers world! The next book definitely draws my interest as well!
I have been loving the Chicago Railers series and enjoyed this one as well! Rina is desperately trying to resist the pull she has towards Oliver, until one night where they can't hold back any longer. And seeing as it was hot & heavy, these two continue to hook in up in secret. Fast forward to Rina seeing those positive pink lines and I was kicking my feet because I love the accidental pregnancy trope! She's so set on denying any feelings she has since she works PR for the hockey team, but Oliver is determined to have his woman. I love how protective he is of her, especially after finding out he's going to be a dad - literally swooning over how much he cares! Seeing them both transform and Rina break down some of those walls for him was so heartwarming.
Also those bonus chapters are literally everything - I swear we better get an Evelyn & Hugh book at the end of this series because I need more of them too! But I am excited for what's coming next with the Railers!
What to expect: -accidental pregnancy -hockey player mmc -workplace -enemies to lovers -he falls first & hard -golden retriever x black cat -secret relationship -forced proximity
Thank you so much to Jennifer Sucevic & Valentine PR for gifting me an early copy of this book!
I could not put this book down it was so addicting.
Ok Oliver is OBSESSED with Rina! Like obsessed obsessed. They work together so they shouldn’t be in a relationship. So she keeps trying to break off their “hookupship” but he just won’t let her and the man won’t back down! (But like, in a good way) cuz he just knows she’s it for him!!
He seriously was right on the border for stalkerish but I loved every second of it!
The way this man treasures Rina and takes care of her!!! Everyone needs an Oliver Van Doren in their lives!!!
oliver is obsessed and i am here for it!!!! rina’s guarded. she has trust issues and believes that the people she loves will leave. but oliver is there and doing whatever he can to prove to her that he’s not going anywhere. he’s patient, persistent and so dang sweet.
-accidental pregnancy -workplace romance -enemies to lovers -he falls first & hard -secret relationship
thank you jennifer sucevic & valentine pr for the arc 🩵
Show Me Forever Jennifer Sucevic ARC COPY Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 of 5) Spice: 🌶️🌶️
I always enjoy Jennifer Sucevic’s college romances, and Show Me Forever was another solid addition to the Chicago Railers. If you’re into fluffy sports romances with lots of spice, this is definitely the book for you.
The story follows Oliver “The Big O” and Rina, who have both been carrying more emotional baggage than they let on. Their relationship actually starts years before the book begins, when Rina starts working as the public relations specialist for the team and has to constantly deal with Oliver and his many shenanigans. There has always been undeniable chemistry between them, and chapter one begins with them finally letting go of their restraint and exploring the attraction they’ve been fighting for years. They repeatedly find themselves falling back into bed together, but Rina struggles to trust that what she and Oliver have could ever lead to something beyond the bedroom. While she keeps her guard up, Oliver is determined to break through her fears and prove that what they share is real and worth fighting for. Obstacles appear along the way in the form of work complications and a BIG surprise. The real question becomes: will Rina look past the challenges and take a chance on Oliver, or will she let her fears dictate the future of their relationship?
What I loved:
- Oliver has always been one of my favorite players since meeting him in the first book, so I already knew his story would end up being one of my favorites in the series. - Evelyn and Hugh <3 I’m tired of the little snippets! Their tension and unresolved history have me completely invested, and I just want their book already. There’s clearly so much left unsaid between them and so much angst building up. Please, Jennifer, put them (and us) out of our misery and give us the BOOK -Oliver's patience. He doesn’t push the Rina before she’s ready, we love a golden retriever hero.
What Could Have Been Better:
- There was a lot of sex in this book, some might even argue too much. At times, it felt like Oliver and Rina jumped from arguing straight into bed without much meaningful conversation in between. Because of that, it was a little harder to form a strong emotional connection with them as a couple. Don’t get me wrong, we all love some spice in a romance, but it sometimes felt like that was the main thing holding their relationship together instead of deeper dialogue and emotional moments.
- I also wish we had gotten a little more insight into Oliver’s internal thoughts earlier in the story to balance the emotional perspective. As I mentioned, it often felt like Oliver was carrying most of the weight in the relationship because Rina wasn’t ready. After a while, it became exhausting to constantly see Oliver trying again and again, only for Rina to pull back or disappoint him.
Overall, Show Me Forever is a solid, quick read that you can easily finish in a few hours. If you have about three hours to spare and want something fun, spicy, and set in the college sports world, this book will definitely scratch that itch. However, if you’re looking for a romance with a lot more emotional depth and character development, this one might be worth skipping.
Damn!! Oliver Van Doren is the definition of the word OBSESSED 🥵 That boy really knows about yearning!! Everything he knows is that he wants Rina, and he was sooo patient with her 🥹
I finished this book in one day because it was so fast-paced and entertaining that I couldn’t stop reading. The chapters were no longer than 10 minutes, which made it even easier to keep going. I give it 5⭐ because I’m a simple girl. All I need in my books is an obsessed boy, an accidental pregnancy, and fast-paced chapters, and I’m going to love it 🥰. And I do love this book✨ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thank you Valentine PR & Jennifer Sucevic for the ARC❤️ ⭐️/ 5 🌶️/3.5 💧/0

Show Me Forever by Jennifer Sucevic is the third book in the Chicago Railers Hockey series and delivers a steamy, emotional hockey romance filled with tension, unexpected vulnerability and a hero who falls completely and without hesitation.
Oliver Van Doren has always come across as the charming but chaotic star forward for the Chicago Railers. From the outside he seems reckless, impulsive and far too comfortable creating situations that someone else inevitably must clean up. Rina believes she has him figured out and keeps him firmly in the category of trouble she should avoid. Their dynamic is sharp and teasing, full of tension that both pretend not to notice even though the attraction between them is obvious.
That careful balance shatters after one moment of weakness turns into a night neither of them can forget. What begins as something they try to brush off quickly spirals into something far more complicated when two pink lines change everything. Suddenly they are thrown together in a way neither of them expected, and the forced proximity only intensifies the connection they have both been trying to ignore.
One of the most enjoyable parts of this story is watching Oliver slowly reveal that he is far more than the reckless hockey star everyone assumes him to be. Beneath the charm and cocky exterior is a man who is patient, attentive and surprisingly thoughtful. His steady presence and the way he steps up when it matters most adds depth to his character and makes his growing feelings feel sincere and earned. His devotion builds quietly but powerfully, and it becomes clear very early that he is completely invested.
The relationship develops through banter, tension, and emotional moments that highlight how both characters are forced to confront their fears about love, commitment, and the future. The surprise pregnancy trope is handled with a focus on growth and partnership rather than drama alone, allowing the romance to feel both heartfelt and hopeful.
The chemistry between the characters is strong throughout the story, and their connection moves from reluctant attraction to something much deeper. Watching them navigate their new reality while slowly lowering their emotional walls adds a satisfying layer of vulnerability to romance.
Show Me Forever is a swoony, emotional hockey romance that blends humor, heat, and heartfelt moments. With a hero who falls first and proves it through his actions and a romance that grows from unexpected beginnings, this story delivers a satisfying mix of tension, tenderness and the promise of something lasting.
I don't know how she does it, but Jennifer just smashes it out the park every single time.
Show Me Forever is book three of the Chicago Railers series and gives us Rina and Oliver's story. And let me tell you it's great!
We've seen these two in the previous books as side characters, and tension between them has always been simmering just below the surface. Jennifer treats us in Show Me Forever by giving us them full force, and I'm here for it.
Rina is the Team's PR who tries (and obviously fails) to keep her distance from Van Doren in personal manner. She attempts to keep him at a distance, but the surprise pregnancy puts her even more firmly in his sights. Rina doesn't want to feel indebted to anyone, and the last thing she wants is to be left without a home, an income and means to provide for her baby. She'd rather do it all alone, be self sufficient without anyones help, then be left like her Mum was.
Oliver has wanted Rina for years, so when he finally gets his chance he's all in. However the walls she's built stop him from getting too close, much to his dismay. So he wants is the opportunity to show her that his love isn't conditional or fleeting. He wants to show her forever, and then some. He's a player with a reputation, but when it comes to those closest to him he's loyal and supportive. Getting to see the small interactions between him and siblings was lovely.
The chemistry between Ollie and Rina is smoking. From their start their sexual chemistry is there and undeniable. You get to see their emotional and mental relationship develop over the story progression, and watching Rina fall for Oliver is sweet.

I'm loving the Chicago Railers series, and I'm excited for the fourth book after the sneak peak of who it's about and what's to come.
I devoured this book in less than 24 hours—I literally couldn’t put it down. From the very first chapters I was completely hooked, and by the end I was obsessed.
Olive “Big O” Van Doren completely stole my heart. The way he falls hard and fast for Rina had me melting. His devotion, the yearning, the way he’s constantly trying to make her truly see him and believe in what they could have… it was everything. He’s sweet, protective, and so unapologetically obsessed with her, and I was absolutely here for it.
Rina is a strong and independent FMC who has grown up believing she doesn’t need a man. Because of what her mother taught her, she sees love as something painful and temporary—something that always ends with people leaving. Watching her struggle with those beliefs while Olive slowly breaks down her walls was emotional and beautiful. And honestly… after that scene, I was really not a fan of her mom. I was so mad on Rina’s behalf. 😡
The chemistry between these two is completely off the charts. Their tension, banter, and emotional connection made every interaction feel intense and meaningful. They truly feel like two hearts that were always meant to find each other.
The spice level was perfect—just the right amount to add heat without overshadowing the emotional build-up.
And can we talk about those snippets for the upcoming books? Because I am desperate for Evelyn and Hugh’s story. The tiny glimpses we got from their perspectives were delicious, and they’ve already completely captured my interest. I really hope they get their own book because the potential there is incredible.
Overall, this was addictive, emotional, romantic, and so much fun to read. I loved every minute of it and already can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Thank you to Valentine PR and Jennifer Sucevic for the opportunity to read this ARC!
Whenever I start a book by Jennifer Sucevic I always think to myself that there is no way she can make me love the MMC I’m about to meet more than the last MMC she introduced me to. And she proves me wrong every single time. Oliver Van Doren is not new to me actually. I met him a long time ago because he is the brother to one of her other MMCs in her Western Wildcats series. But this is a grown up Oliver. An unselfish, mature, loving Oliver. He’s a star hockey player on the Chicago Railers. The FMC is Rina, the Chicago Railers PR person who has had to clean up a few of Oliver’s PR “messes”. She’s been taught by her mother that men can’t be trusted because they will leave. To never fall into the trap of falling in love. When she gives in to the underlying attraction that has always been there between her and Oliver, one night turns into months worth of nights. She thinks he’s just a bad decision she keeps making. He KNOWS she’s his forever. She’s always got one foot out of the door, he’s always pulling her back and slamming it shut. When she ends up pregnant she thinks she’s ruined both of their lives. He finally has the chance to show her that they are meant to be. I loved how Oliver was determined to be a presence in Rina’s life. To show her that not all men leave. To show her that she didn’t have to do everything for herself if she would just allow someone to be there. I also loved that Rina would give in. Against her “better” judgment she kept bending the rules she had put in place for herself to allow Oliver to be the man her promised her he could be. So many times I read an FMC who is such a self determined strong woman that she pushes everyone away to the point that she becomes annoying. Rina almost crosses into the annoying territory but stops just before she gets there. And therein lies the magic of Jennifer Sucevic’s writing for me. Her ability to allow her characters to bend when needed and recognize their flaws and try harder. And then she edges you towards a third act break up that you know you are going to hate but instead she allows you to fall into the bliss of an HEA. I will sign up for that fall every single time.
Once again, let’s start this with I received this as an arc. I am on Jennifer’s team and one of the perks is being able to get the book early and you can also do that on her website directly. It’s a little information for you.
One thing I love about Jennifer Sucevic’s stories is that while they can be read as standalones, reading them in order really lets you experience the entire family—especially in the Chicago Railers world. And if you haven’t picked up the Western Wildcats series yet, I promise these books will make you want to immediately.
Let’s start with Rina. She’s the team’s resident PR queen and she is damn good at her job. Oliver, on the other hand… well, for lack of a better phrase, he’s a complete PR nightmare. Since Rina started working with him, though, there have been a few moments between them that are definitely less than professional.
Then things take a turn when Rina ends up pregnant (don’t worry—that’s not a spoiler). This is an accidental pregnancy trope, but what really makes the story shine is Oliver’s reaction. The second he finds out he’s going to be a dad, the little things he does for Rina show just how much he wants to step up and be there.
Rina, however, is much more closed off. She’s always been driven to succeed and prove herself, and even though she’s incredibly successful, she still feels like she’s not doing enough. Watching Oliver slowly break through those walls was honestly one of my favorite parts of the book.
This story was absolutely perfect. It also sets up the next book, and honestly I’m going to lose my mind waiting for the Evelyn and Hugh saga to continue because every single book leaves me wanting more.
If there’s one thing Jennifer does exceptionally well, it’s interweaving stories and characters across her series. She’s truly top-notch at it.
As with all Jennifer Sucevic books, this was another five star read for me, and honestly… you’ll never change my mind.
I loved the opening scene, it was hot, fun, kind of romantic and just the perfect start to Rina and Olivers story!
Oliver is a man obsessed and I love it. He’s cocky and determined which can be a lot at times, but he’s really just a big softy when it comes to the people he loves. It was fun to see him in many roles such as brother, teammate, friend, baby daddy and more.
Rina’s view on men and relationships has been shaped by her past with her father and her mom’s influence and it’s not a good one. I was eager to see how Oliver would potentially break down the walls she’s built because of that. My hope was that Rina would learn to trust herself and choose what she truly wants rather than hold herself back.
There is also SO much spice in this one!! Holy cow…
That said, parts of the story felt repetitive. Oliver often ends his POV chapters with the same sentiment, “this isn’t the end, it’s only the beginning” and Rina has similar repeated thoughts at the end of her chapters. It made their progress feel a little stalled rather than naturally developing. I noticed a similar pattern in the first two books as well, so it may just be part of Jennifer’s writing style. It doesn’t take away from the book at all.
One thing Jennifer Suvevic does really well is writing possessive, completely smitten MMCs. Her books are perfect when you want a romantically dramatic escape that’s hard to put down once you start.
I also loved getting little glimpses of Evelyn and Hugh’s story, and the hints at what’s coming next definitely have me excited for the next book. I’ll be counting down to June!!
Book 3 in the Chicago Railers Hockey universe - and I enjoyed all the cameos from the other players, along with the ongoing drama between the co-owners/managers of the team. There’s hardly any hockey in this one, so if you want on-ice action, some of Jennifer's other series have more.
Hockey player Oliver is gone for Rina, the team PR manager. They fall into bed and spend the next couple of months sneaking around. Rina is conflicted, not only because her mother has hammered the idea that men can’t be depended on, but also because there’s a strict no-fraternization policy with the team.
Show Me Forever is tricky from the start. It’s wish-fulfilment for certain, and the chemistry between Oliver and Rina is insane. However. What Oliver is doing is essentially workplace harassment. He knows that if they are discovered together she will lose her job and he won’t. She is only on the PR team while he’s a gifted player with a big salary so their affair has much higher stakes for Rina. They are horny twenty-somethings but I just couldn’t shake the feeling that Oliver is not listening to her. He is telling himself what she wants, and knows that she can’t say no to him, which gave me the ick.
In Romancelandia this isn't a problem, and a surprise pregnancy changes everything, not just because it gives Oliver the chance to step up and show Rina he is all in. It's all very steamy, low angst and they have a delightful dynamic.
I've enjoyed all of Jennifer's books and I'll keep reading them, but this is a miss for me.
Thank you Jennifer Sucevic and Valentine PR for the ARC. Opinions are my own.
Show Me Forever is the 3rd book in the Chicago Railers Hockey by Jennifer Sucevic. Following our FMC Rina Reynolds the team’s pr manager and our MMC Oliver Van Doren the railers star forward. After a night out and a moment of weakness, what was supposed to be a one night stand turned into more, a secret work relationship, until two pink lines change everything.
This was such an enjoyable read but i came into this with such high hopes and it let me down abit. i loved all the tropes but sadly this fell very flat. I loved Oliver and his possessiveness SO much and how obsessed he was with Rina except, the first half of the book dragged on and felt very repetitive. One of my favourite moments was when Rina break down those high boy extremely high walls, the spice was piping hot, the TENSION was so sharp and what i love most about this entire series, is the friendship everyone has with eachother?!? Oh and oliver’s sister Kia? IMMEDIATELY loved her. The bonus epilouges at the end from Evelyn and Hugh’s POV? At this point Jen is edging us with their story and i am so here for it. Overall it was an enjoyable read with fun characters and so much tension!!
The audiobook narrated in duet by Jason Clarke and Mollie Stark brought the story to life, with Jason Clarke narrating Oliver he really brought out the goofiness of our golden retriever MMC, i absolutely love jason clarke and he did a brilliant job with Oliver. Mollie Stark is a new narrator for me and i think she did a beautiful job of bringing our black cat to life!! Beautiful narration from both narrators
Oliver Van Doren known as The Big O plays for the Chicago Railers hockey team and always seems to get into some kind of mischief being reckless and impulsive.
Rina Reynolds is the PR Director for the Railers and is the one who constantly has to deal with Oliver and whatever he gets into and clean up his messes.
One night they are both at the same bar and end up spending the night together which results in a pregnancy. He is thrilled since she is all he thinks about. "FYI--I just slept with the future Mrs. Van Doren." Rina thinks it's a mistake but of course Oliver doesn't as he's obsessed with her. "I'm never letting you go. Not in this life. Or any other."
Oliver is intent to show her how much he cares for her and is not going anywhere. She is it for him and he makes no bones about it. For Rina though it's not that easy as her job is on the line with a non-fraternization clause and this job is everything to her plus she has trust issues.
Will Rina give Oliver a chance or will her fears and trust issues win out?
4 stars I enjoyed the story and Oliver ended up being a really sweet guy who was so over the moon with Rina. I do wish since the story revolves around her being pregnant that the epilogue would have given more time to the baby and what they had and even the bonus one touched on it and another one but it was like a second thought.
Show Me Forever is the third book in the Chicago Railers Hockey series. Have I ever told you just how obsessed I am with this series? I don’t know if I’ll ever not love this series.
Oh Mr. Oliver Van Doren. I am here for you, my every loving walking green flag. This man is completely gone for Rina and he isn’t shy about letting her know. Getting to see Oliver fall first and hard for Rina was easily one of the most addictive parts of this book. God love him.
I thought Oliver was reckless and a cocky hockey player that everyone assumes he is. But getting to see him from another light, you get to see who he really is. He is patient, attentive, and deeply devoted to Rina and Little O. He is protective and possessive in all the best ways.
Even when Oliver wanted to back off, he knew he shouldn’t, and he learned how to understand her fears and insecurities. He is the master of waiting and proving time and time again he is all in. This just showed who he really is.
The banter between these two builds. Through a lot of playful banter and emotional tensions. I love how mature they were by just communicating through issues. If strong communication was a trope, I would be there for it every time.

Oliver and Rina have been on my mind ever since Book 1, and I love that they are finally together!
Oliver is the problematic player of the Chicago Railers, constantly creating PR nightmares for Rina to fix. But he's had enough of the party scene and is ready to pursue the girl he's loved for years.
Rina values control and was raised to be independent after her father walked out on her and her mother. What she never expected was to fall in love with her most problematic player and find herself with zero control over the situation.
Rina and Oliver are perfect for each other and complement each other so wonderfully! Rina brought out Oliver's sentimental, serious side, while Oliver showed Rina that independence doesn't mean doing everything alone—that it's okay to ask for help and lean on the people who love you most.
I loved Oliver's persistence and his refusal to give up. However, his disregard for Rina's concerns about her job and career frustrated me. Rina was the one at risk of losing everything, and instead of listening to her, he tricked her into sex (which was consensual, of course!). If it weren't for Evelyn, Rina might have lost everything.
I really enjoyed how their story developed, but that one aspect was a bit upsetting for me.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story, and I'm so excited for the grumpy single dad's story next!😁
Thank you to ValentinesPR for the ARC 🩷 My first read by this author and therefore fist in the series. After a moment of lust, former playboy Hockey star Oliver is obsessed with his teams PR Director Rina - the one who signed a strict non fraternisation clause in her employment contract... When the "action" is so good neither of them can stop, they are forced to keep things a secret. This just makes Oliver want her even more until an even bigger secret appears in the form of a baby! A switch is flicked in Olivers mind and he will do anything for his family, Rina on the other hand was raised to never need a man so struggles with this. Is there a way that Rina can keep her job? Will the pair work as more than F*** buddies? Can the friends group or found family get any cuter? Read to find out! I will say that I found Oliver quite overbearing at times, the location tracking and answering for her during work meetings was quite a lot (for a fluffy romance novel anyway). Short read with plenty of spice (maybe even more spice than plot!) I enjoyed the side characters, in particular Kia and the girl friends group 🥰 The ending felt a bit rushed compared to the rest of the short story but I did enjoy the bonus chapters from the other characters. 🏒 Hockey star 📚 PR Director FMC 👌 Forbidden romance 👶 Oopsie Baby 🫶 Found family 🫡 Man obsessed
The Chicago Railers Series keeps getting better, hotter, swoonier! Oliver “Big O” Van Doren has a reputation of a bad boy and ladies’ man in the NHL. He hides his true self and his true feelings from everyone. Rina is the career-focused, strong, independent woman who works for the Chicago Railers as the PR expert and has been dealing with all the problems that Oliver has been causing for years. Their relationship is explosive and their future ends up tangled together in a forever kind of way. Can the unexpected turn into something real? Oliver is protective, intense, an all-in kind of guy who vows to show Rina forever and how loved and cherished she is, but cracking her tough shell isn’t an easy task. Rina runs from feelings, attachments and any sort of relationships. Her past has left deep-rooted fears that aren´t easy to overcome, no matter how much Oliver shows her differently. A beautiful love story about resilience, being enough, letting go and allow yourself to love and be loved and not be consumed by your fears and insecurities. Show me Forever will make you laugh, blush, cry, swoon and love every bit of the fire between Oliver and Rina. Jennifer Sucevic never disappoints. She only gets better. Thank you for the ARC.
I have thoroughly loved getting to explore a deeper layer to Oliver and to Rina. They balance each other out nicely and help each other come to terms with certain parts of life. Oliver comes across as such a carefree, goofy character who doesn't know how to be serious, but when you learn more about him and his history, you see just how strong he loves and how he's always there for those he loves and will do absolutely anything for them. Rina is a complex character who works so hard to have everything in order out of fear but when we watch her slowly start to accept the direction her life is going and who's in it, it's really heart warming because it's like watching her finally relax and enjoy life to it's fullest. The writing flowed really nicely and I devoured the book in one day. You are immediately hooked into the world and the characters, eager to see where their story is going to lead them. I loved the plot and think it was written really well. I loved getting to see glimpses at the other characters and I can't wait to explore more of the others, as I just know things are going to be crazy.
When I saw the tropes for this book, I knew I needed it. Oliver is so down bad for Rina, the PR manager for the Railer’s hockey team. Rina does everything in her power to try and convince herself that she doesn’t have feelings for Oliver but after some secret hookups and a surprise pregnancy things change.
Rina definitely has trust issues and feels like everyone she loves and gets close to leaves. She also loves her job and knows that being with him is inappropriate and forbidden. Oliver is absolutely determined to make sure she knows that her and their baby are his only priority.
Oliver is so damn sweet, he is persistent and open with Rina and that’s exactly what she needs. The found family is great and I loved the dynamic of the friend group.
This was a quick, easy, addicting read and I’m very excited for the next book after the little Easter eggs that Jennifer planted in this one.
What to expect: Enemies to lovers Surprise pregnancy Secret relationship One night stand He falls first & hard Secret pining Golden retriever x black cat
Just when I think I figured out which MMC I love the most from this series Jennifer Sucevic tops them with yet another amazing MMC. This one has been brewing since book one. Rina and Oliver’s story gives you so much to swoon about. Their enemies chemistry is five-alarm fire level. Volatile, always at each other’s throats. She’s the PR point for the team and he’s the bad boy/playboy of the team. I thought I knew the direction this book would take me but honestly really loved the story Jennifer gave us for Oliver and Rina. He is so gone for her. So totally obsessed with getting her to see him for who he is. And Rina is a lot of what I can totally relate to. She’s insulated herself from letting anyone fail her. The control she wants over who can emotionally hurt her is the biggest wall she puts up between her and Oliver. How good was this book? It was read it in one Saturday and finish kind of good. The pacing of the story is easy and gets you invested so quickly that before you know it, you’ve read 28 chapters. As with the first two books, these two have an amazing friend group between the hockey teammates and their partners/girlfriends. Absolutely loved this book!
Jennifer truly brought Rina and Oliver to life in this book! Both characters have appeared in past stories, and this one expands on the Van Doren family we first connected with in Ava and Hayes’s story. Rina is fiercely independent and lives by the lesson her mother always taught her: you don’t need a man, and they always leave anyway. She’s worked incredibly hard to earn her role as the PR manager for the Railers, but her biggest challenge is Oliver Van Doren—also known as the Big O. Oliver may have a history of questionable choices when it comes to women, but it all comes back to the one person he’s always wanted: Rina. From the moment he met her, he knew no one else would ever compare. So when he finally gets his chance, he takes it. What begins as a one-night stand quickly turns into two months together—and then a surprise pregnancy. Rina’s instinct is to run, but Oliver is determined to prove that she doesn’t have to face everything alone and that he’s not going anywhere. Unfortunately, there’s still the issue of her strict no-fraternization contract—one she’s just broken. When the truth inevitably comes out, the question is: where does that leave her?
Thanks to Jennifer Sucevic and Valentine PR for the ARC of Show me Forever. I have read and loved every single one of the Chicago Railers hockey boys. Oliver is 100% a golden retriever puck boy and I was here for it. I loved his energy and steadfast-nest. He was spicy enough it had me questioning his golden retriever status. The spicy was spicing as it should, please see the scene with the equipment manager right outside. Rina had so much trauma to work though, I think it would have been nice to see her go to therapy as well as work things out with Oliver. The break through she had with her mom was nice, made me feel a little less angry with her in the end. The minor characters stood out and I cant wait to see the rest of the team fall in love, starting with my favorite position of the grumpy goalie. When are we going to get Hugh and Evelyn's second chance? Cause their background story is almost more interesting than the actual story 😅. The quote that hit the hardest was: "Maybe love doesn't fix everything. Maybe it just makes you brave enough to try." Over all would recommend this book to my best hockey loving girl friend.
Oliver & Rina!!! We get such high heat & spice from the drop with these two! All that tension explodes with our playboy winger from the Chicago Railers NHL team and the franchise’s PR Maven. What starts as one night turns into many when Oliver refuses to let Rina run or push him away and despite a lifetime of being told by her mother to be independent and never rely on anyone since her dad walked out, she finds herself tempted to let go of all her walls with him. He keeps pushing his way I to her bed and life and heart. Then she finds out she’s accidentally tally pregnant and he is determined to prove how all in he is and how he means to be her forever. We get loads from our favorite previous couples, more delicious Evelyn & Hugh tension (& that bonus epilogue!!!! Hoo wee!!!), and we meet Oliver’s little sister Kia who comes to stay and maybe feels some sparks with a certain player on the team. I’m so excited for their book next, for more Railers stories, & to finally get the full scoop on Evelyn & Hugh one day-loved it!
I was kindly given an ARC of Show Me Forever and this was good! I was hooked from the start and I always find it so easy to read Jennifer’s books! they hook you in and it’s written so well and flows easily that you just never put it down! I loved Rina, she was honestly so relatable and I just wanted to give her a hug. all her fears were so valid and she was such a hard working and sweet character. Oliver was so good, such a protective and caring person, I loved how he supported Rina no matter what and would do anything for her, it was so sweet, he was constantly proving to her he was serious about her. loved seeing their story and can’t wait to see more glimpses of them in the next books! so excited for the rest of the books in the series! such a good and sweet read! (thank you to Jennifer Sucevic and Valentine PR for the ARC, all opinions are my own) Show Me Forever releases March 19! 4⭐
“It should scare me, how much of myself I’ve given to this woman without realizing it, but for the first time in my life, I don’t want to take it back.”
Show Me Forever is book three in Jennifer Sucevic’s Chicago Railers Hockey series.
We love a boy who is OBSESSED and that’s exactly what Oliver Van Doren is. And then there’s Rina who is fighting the pull that she has towards Oliver. Rina is fiercely independent and comes from a past where she is hesitant of love. She continuously pushes Oliver away. Oliver shows up for Rina in all parts of her life. He makes it known that she is not alone in whatever she’s going through and that they are in everything together.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. I listened as an ALC and loved Oliver so much He is a perceived bad boy of the Chicago Raiders who has been pining for Rena the PR consultant of the Raiders. To outsiders they are enemies but Oliver-The Big O to his teammates wants her to see the real him not the playboy. After one night or what was supposed to be one night a fledgling relationship blossoms. Unfortunately Rena signed a non-fraternising contract and loves her job, so keeps saying they must stop. But Oliver is determined and when a little surprise throws a spanner in the works, Oliver demands she moves in. A random fan photo can bring everything crashing at their feet. Luckily the owner Evelyn makes a deal with the joint owner (described in the bonus epilogue) Of course true love never runs smoothly especially when childhood traumas play a part. Once conversations are had then they can work towards their HEA
