Grumpy for a Night
I slept with a stranger I choked out in a bar fight—and now I can’t stop thinking about him.

Jamie and Laurel
GRUMPY FOR A NIGHT IS A steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, grumpy-sunshine, one-night stand to more romance. Laurel is a 28-year-old smart and sassy business owner. Jamie is a 40-year-old hunky, grumpy, reclusive author. The two meet after a bar fight and have a hot one-night stand. Laurel hopes for more but Jamie leaves, making it clear he doesn't do relationships. The two cross paths again months later. The chemistry is still there, but will Laurel let him back in? The chemistry between this couple was insane and we do get a happy ending, but it was an emotional roller-coaster getting there. I don't know that I could have forgiven Jamie that second time. I would have liked more resolution with the brother too. 3 5☆s.

Jamie went into a bar for a drink not a bar fight.
Laurel runs after him, not expecting to end up waking up next to him the next morning.
There connection is electric!
After that night all they can do is think about each other. Especially when Laurel takes a pregnancy test that is positive.
You will have to read Grumpy for the night to find out.
Really good book! You delivered again Isla!!
