Reapers of Does and Lambs is a noir fiction novel told from the hard-bitten perspective of a psychologically traumatized hostage-turned-assassin. Under the binding control of the vigilantes that recovered her for the sole purpose of weaponizing her against her former captors, Sahsa lost all autonomy and identity.

In a war for self-sovereignty, she partners with another combative hitwoman forced to kill for their keepers. Hunted by both crime syndicates, they undertake a bloodwrought trial to reclaim their lives. The secrets and brutal truths they uncover in the process threaten all they think they know about their enemies, rescuers, and own selves.

Laced with romance and betrayal, this novel unravels a dark, violent, and ethically complex narrative that reframes victimhood through resurrection of the self and unmerciful revenge.

10000/10. This novel is a masterclass in storytelling—gritty, gripping, and beautifully written. From the first page, you're plunged into a world where every detail feels vivid and every twist cuts deep. What truly sets this book apart, though, are its unforgettable female protagonists: strong, determined, and deeply human.

The story centers around women who refuse to be silenced—leaders, survivors, rebels—each navigating a world where power is tightly controlled and freedom comes at a cost. Their courage doesn’t feel forced or performative; it’s earned through heartbreak, resilience, and fierce determination. Whether they’re fighting oppressive systems, uncovering buried truths, or simply surviving against all odds, these characters stay with you long after the final page.

The writing is exquisite—lyrical yet sharp, rich with atmosphere and emotion. Every chapter ends with just enough tension to keep you reading *one more*, and before you know it, hours have slipped by.

Zero cliches in the plot, it keeps you second guessing the entire time. Strong female characters, extremely well written, and has an original concept I’ve never encountered in any other book.

This is such a unique concept for a story and I really enjoyed that it's unlike anything I've read before. It somehow gave Mad Max but in a futuristic world instead of desolation. I LOVED the sci-fi aspect to the story because that is one of my favorite genres and I could read just about the mods and how it affects the society.

I am eager to see how Sasha progresses throughout the series. I know she's a strong character but I craved a bit more vulnerability from her and I don't think it would've taken from her strength, but would've enhanced it. I think we'll see some of her deeper layers in the next stories.

This is a well written book that takes you on a roller coaster of emotion. The twists and turns of the plot, the surprises that are revealed, make you want to keep reading to the end. If you love noir fiction, you will love this book. It’s perfect summer reading material!
