I couldn't believe Ryder was standing in front of me...and every other kid. I decided we had to stop seeing each other but Ryder had different plans. He wouldn't stop trying to contact me. After he didn't receive a response from me he showed up at my dorm room. I knew I shouldn't give in. Would I be able to stop his constant advances towards me?
I really enjoy this series so far. The chemistry between Ryder and Jenna is undeniable. I am dying to know who Sammy is to Ryder. When they are together you don't want to stop reading. I can't wait to see what happens next
It was much better than the first one.We are starting to know the characters. Ryder loves golf (really golf???Golf is boring) but he is so hot and he has a secret and he doesn't speak much about his life.I'm off for the next book.
This book seemed kind of boring and pointless. The only thing of note that happened was at 93% in. Ryder is 33 and he acts like a teenager with all the texting and stuff. Jenna seemed pretty mature in the first story, not so much in this one. I don't get how Jenna told a stranger her business, like that couldn't come back to bite her. The book needs some editing. The dialogue was weird, kind of stilted and awkward there was too much golf and pages of describing Jenna's looks. But, the main question that kept running through my mind that was never addressed was: How is it that Ryder lives next door but teaches at college? The first story implied it was kind of far since she had to take the interstate, so how is it that he manages to be around all the time?
Overall the book seemed like kind of a waste of time since nothing really happened. I am interested to see how things play ouut though.
Part 2 of Jenna and Ryder's story has left me shocked! Just when Jenna thought she wouldn't have to worry about Ryder anymore, he's now in her life whether she wants him to be or not. Despite the obvious fact that she really does want Ryder in her life, because of the current circumstances, is it possible? This segment of the couple's relationship takes us on their journey of trying to get to know one another better with a few obstacles in the way. As the two work to overcome those obstacles, Jenna gets a shock that she never saw coming. Neither did I!!!
A copy was given for an honest review. Ryder, college professor/golf pro/yoga god, is Jenna's professor. Not sure she can deal with this she mulls it over while he texts her a million times. Obviously, he thinks their relationship is special. Trying to keep things private amongst college co-eds, can they do it? The heat level on this volume is pretty low however it is full of intrigue, Amber pill bottles anyone? Hoping to find out the mystery of Sam.
This continues Jenna and Ryder's story. Jenna tries to avoid Ryder by not answering any of his texts or calls and by not attending his class. Jenna finally gives in a sees Ryder when he turns up at her dorm door, wanting to speak with her. They talk and decide to try and give their relationship a go, but it has to be secret as Jenna doesn't want to be kicked out of school. How they are going to make this work will be interesting.
When Ryder realizes jennas in his class he stumbles his words and loses his color. Jenna is freaking out because her best friend max is teasing her. When class ends she runs. Ryder has been texting her, but Jenna is confused. When Ryder shows up at her dorm room they talk. They want to continue to see each other but they can't let no one know. Jenna doesn't want to get kicked out and she doesn't want Ryder to get fired. Great read now on to the next installment of this story.
Jenna tries to be responsible but she's drawn to Ryder. Will they get caught? Are secrets still hidden? Romance and courting are the theme and they both seem to be going slow and treading carefully. What role will Max play? Will Jenna learn to curb that green eyed monster called jealousy? Claire Adams definitely knows how to leave me wanting more!
PRETTY BORING COMPARED TO THE FIRST BOOK ... I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE POINT OF THIS BOOK WAS BECAUSE NOTHING MUCH HAPPENED. I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST THE LOVE INTEREST BETWEEN THE 33 YEAR OLD PROFESSOR & HIS 18 YEAR OLD STUDENT BUT THEY CAME ACROSS QUITE BORING IN THIS SECOND BOOK. LIKE ANOTHER REVIEWER WROTE, THIS BOOK WAS POINTLESS!!
