Two weeks. No strings. With Adam Callaway I thought I’d found the perfect fling. He was great in bed and only in town for a few hot nights. There was no way I could have known Adam wouldn’t be satisfied with just sex. My craving for his body made me careless. I broke my rules. I let him in. I never thought two weeks could change everything. All I wanted was an escape, what I got was so much more.Something I couldn’t live without once I had it.

Elizabeth Filler lived life on her own terms… at least that’s what she wants everyone to think. Burned by those who she should have been able to trust the most, she had walls of steel up against the world. No one in meant she would never feel pain again. That is until she meets Adam Callaway, whose irresistible charm and generous heart melted her walls with little effort. He’s in town for two weeks and they agree to a mutually satisfying sexual relationship with no strings. A lot can happen in two weeks ;)

“And how do you feel about me?” He looked me directly in the eye and spoke with absolute conviction. “Like I finally found someone who understands me.”

There was so much to like about this tale. I especially liked how comfortable and aware she was with her sexuality. It’s not something I see a lot of, whether in fiction or in real life, and I think more women should have the same appreciation. She owned her desire, her pleasure, her needs, and didn’t hesitate to go after what she wanted, at least physically. Adam was a man after my own heart and Elizabeth was a sympathetic character. Adam was a man after my own heart and Elizabeth was a sympathetic character. Although Elizabeth’s reticence towards Adam was frustrating to say the least, I tried extremely hard to be understand it considering what she suffered. However, I couldn’t get enough of Adam. He was absolutely wonderful. As I said, there was much to like about this tale, from their instant chemistry to their quick and undeniably connection. It may not have been exactly love at first sight, but both characters seemed to know where this was leading. I loved their bond, their banter, their intimacy, and their sexy times.

Being with Adam didn’t just make me happy - it made me feel accepted.

I wanted to give this story five stars so badly, but I couldn’t. Why? I desperately needed Adam’s perspective. Because of Elizabeth’s reluctance to make herself vulnerable or to leave her heart open, I needed him to give me the emotions necessary to make this the love story I was looking for. It’s not to say that the author didn’t make his feelings known, because this author sure can write, but I’m greedy and needed more. If you love a truly hot and steamy romance with characters who are incredibly easy to like and root for, then this book should definitely be on your one-click list!

Nice surprise

This story was a great surprise, you know the type. You come across a freebie and think, yeah sounds interesting, but not quite sure. Maybe that seems like an unfair judgment, but lately I seem to of been a little unlucky in finding a great read. Well I found one in this story. The characters have fantastic chemistry and great personality. A definite must read!

Qué difícil me resulta encontrar romance erótico bueno.

If you're looking for lots of hot sex (although a bit repetitive and redundant), then this one's for you. For me, I prefer a bit more storyline in the mix. Really this one had some potential, too. But most of all, I just didn't connect with Elizabeth at all. She was too calculating and over-the-top in my opinion. She really kept me nauseous most of the time. Thanks goodness for a free read or I most likely would have returned this one after the first chapter.

Good!

This was the first book that I've read by this author. I didn't know what to expect from the book as a whole, but I really enjoyed it. It was a tad drawn out at bits, but the storyline was addictive. I loved Adam. I grew to like Elizabeth as well once I realised why she behaved the way she did. If you like a hot, steamy read you'll enjoy Tease.

If I hadn't been trying to keep track of how many books I actually read in a year, I probably never would have reviewed this one. I don't like to give bad reviews. I couldn't get into this story. I didn't like the leading lady from the start. It has nothing to do with her sexuality, or her opinions on sexuality. I'm not a prude. I've read others books that have this basic plot, I could have told you the basic outline of the story from the beginning, and did. Check out my progress notes while reading, it's all there. The problem with this book was that it was just badly written. I've read the same concept expressed in other books that in this book come across as crude and vulgar to me, but in those others it comes across as intended - steamy, and sexy.

The turn around in this book was too extreme and unbelievable. It was literally HOURS, the leading lady went from "never" to "why do I have all these feelings?"

I stick with my original opinion, he deserves someone better than her.

Some other reviewers mentioned changing their rating because they liked the ending, but I don't think any ending could make up for a beginning that will make most people want to quit reading. It literally was sheer stubbornness and skimming that got me through.

Sorry, like I said, I hate giving bad reviews, but there are so many better books out there.

I enjoyed this book however it seemed to go on too long and the ending seemed unsatisfying. Some editing out of the unnecessary writing and a change in ending and I would give it a 5

Elizabeth was unapologetically sexually liberated. She's bold, direct, and without reservations when it came to her desires and expectations. Overall, the passion between Adam and Elizabeth was hot and full of uninhibited sex. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but there was just too much of it. It seemed like every moment they were together, that's all they did. Yes, they went out a few times, and it was a vacation fling, but I wanted more from the relationship building side. Their main form of communication was sex. A lot was "said" in those moments, and Elizabeth was able to work through her growing feelings for Adam and understanding his feelings for her during those times.

Through his words and actions, Adam constantly showed Elizabeth that she could have it all and it was okay to rely on others to support her. Thankfully, Elizabeth was able to work through her fears and the distance she put between herself and everyone else. It took an understanding and patient man like Adam to help her get there. And I was glad that there wasn't too much angst. Elizabeth internalized everything and worked through it all in her mind. There were times when I thought she would push him away completely and he would give up until the next time her came home, but that wasn't the case. These two truly were kindred spirits.

As a side note: I wanted some resolution to her family drama. We get a small glimpse of it at the end and are given the beginnings of Max's take down, but I wanted the nitty gritty details of the fall-out.

I've read several books written by Alexis Anne; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I loved the chemistry between the characters.

I enjoyed this book. I loved Adam with his graciousness, smarts and his unending patience with Elizabeth. She was a bit tougher for me find a connection with as a reader. I know she had been hurt, has gigantic trust issues and feels alone even in the presence of others. It appears if you just casually look at this story, it is all about sex, but I didn't read it that way. I saw a hurt girl who was sexualized young by horrible parents, who uses sex as a means of feeling in control.

I really liked the way Adam was so patient and understanding with what she needed. It was refreshing to see a depth in the hero that I usually see in the heroine. Plus, to watch Elizabeth finally get some justice for all the bad parenting was a bonus.

Free on iBooks, really liked this one and happy to discover this author. And for once my rating is higher than the average. Ok, perhaps too many love making scenes, but the story itself, the characters (loved H) and the writing are too good to loose a star over it.

Gees Louise, this is going to be one of the hardest reviews I've written in a long time. After seeing this book free on Amazon I was more than a little curious with its blurb. So after finally getting to start it, I was blown away.... But sadly it wasn't for the good I'd hoped for. Now let it be known I love some serious steam in my books but this was do over the top I really had to try hard to continue, luckily things looked up at the 60% mark, hence my 3 star rating now.

This whole story is set in a 2 week period and written similar to a diary.

A 2 week sex-cation should have been the perfect getaway for resident Elizabeth Filler and home for the holiday Mercedes engineer, Adam Callaway. A deal is made - hard core sex, no emotions and feelings. Easy? Nope!! Both Adam and Elizabeth share a history that will make itself known.

Really to me the whole storyline was just off. Instead of ramped sex for more than half book there could have been so much more to their story instead of leaving it till the final 40%. Luckily that 40% raised my rating to 3 stars, but not going to be a re read for me. ( enter sad face here)

Confusing....

This story took a bit for me to get into it. It was very drawn-out in parts and I felt the conclusion was rushed and left story lines unfinished. I will not be reading the rest of the series or anything else by this author. My recommendation? Save your time and your money.

Outstanding book and the Series by author, Alexis Anne.
The couple in this story, Professor Elizabeth Fuller, who’s new to the are and is teaching at the university, and comes from a famous Hollywood stars family who she has sued successfully and wants no contact with; And, Engineer Adam Callaway, who works for Mercedes in Germany but is home for a two weeks vacation and is the only child of a very important family of the area. They met in the restaurant below the apartment where Elizabeth lives in Calhoun Beach. Reluctantly (to Elizabeth) they begin a two week sexaction and begin to have sex at least daily...and very graphically. Unfortunately her parents have surfaced due to an unplanned incident. Fortunately this turned into an evening where Elizabeth and Adam share fact about each other and draw even closer. Adam reveals he has accepted a job with the Mercedes Racing Team and will be moving to the U.K.
Yes, they have professed their love but is it enough to maintain a long distance relationship?
I loved this storyline. There were twists and turns and surprises. Adams character was not always written as a traditional male which was so refreshing.
I wholeheartedly am recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. I also recommend the first book, Tease, if you haven’t read that one yet. Peace.

Eu quebrei as minhas regras. Eu deixei-o entrar.

Another intensely emotionally paced read ruined (littered) by unnecessary F'bombs

I just do not GET IT! I have had the privilege of reading some exceptionally good stories by some exceptionally talented authors...only to be visually assaulted with the F'bomb word count formula.

The use of this word would make sense if the writing were lousy--lazy and lousy writers need all the help they can get to keep a reader's interest.

Adam and Elizabeth (Beth) were emotionally self-damaged and love starved for the life they truly wanted to live. You wanted them to find the courage and safety with each other that they craved. But that emotional journey kept getting brutally interrupted by the placement of unnecessary F'bombs. Every single time I was always snatched, slapped, and just emotionally assaulted when they happened.

Why are these awesome writers pimp-slapping their readers with this formula? I'm pissed off! Pissed off because I have to cross off yet another author whose work I enjoy but just can't stand or get past the UNNECESSARY F'bomb littering of a perfectly fabulous read.

This story should have been rated 5 stars. TRUTH... There's nothing 5 star about an F'bomb littered "romance" story.

Okay...rant over.

Sex, non-stop and Amazing Story

Once Elizabeth and Adam got started they never stopped. At first, they set out to have a time-limited casual “relationship”. However, you can see from their chemistry and their behavior towards each other that they are for each other.

In Elizabeth and Adam’s interaction, whether in bed or out, the author was able to convey their intense attraction, their compatibility, and their respect for each other. The author laid out the story in a way that grips you and make you invested on how the characters will fare. The plot chapter after chapter, rolls smoothly without holes. It is a romance novel but it is also about how similar experiences make two strangers close to each other, and how a past’s secrets imprison a person’s future. It was amazing how the author maintained depth to the story, develop the characters, and still have the intense sex scenes every other chapter.

I truly couldn’t put it down and had to keep on reading. Elizabeth and Adam’s story is very engrossing. It always impresses me when an author is able to entertain, capture attention, and make you feel connected to a fiction book and fictional characters. I added this author to my +Follow list.

Intense

This story was intense, absorbing, and highly erotic. Once started, you can't put it down. It seems simple enough in its beginning, Elizabeth is sitting, reading, at the bar in a nice restaurant that she just happens live above when a handsome man walks in and takes the seat next to her. They strike up a conversation and all the time she is drooling over him in her mind, wondering at the connection she feels between the two of them. She is a very private person who never shares with others, she has learned the hard way that people use and manipulate. But she feels this connection so strongly she agrees to meet him at the restaurant the next night thus starting a journey that is life changing although she has no idea it will be like that. She decides to indulge the need for sex and tells him that for the two weeks that he is in town they will indulge in a 'sex-cation' to which he agrees. Suffice it to say there isn't much of anything off limits for these two. Really hard to put down.

This is the first book in the Tease series but each is a standalone story. Meet Liz and Adam. Liz moved to Calhoun Beach a few months ago and doesn't venture out of her apartment much. She likes her privacy and has her past and her secrets. Adam is in Calhoun Beach for a vacation so he is passing through. Adam is a unique character as well with a secret or two of his own. One day their paths crossed and the attraction is immediate and high. They both agreed to no strings sex, they both get to scratch a few itches and they move on......separately. Liz and Adam are dynamite together, very sexy, very steamy pair. However, those pesky feelings start to develop and their is a danger to those secrets being exposed. Are these two characters ready for more than no strings sex? A well written story with very compatible characters who believe that a no strings affair agreement will keep their hearts safe. Excellent read. Enjoy!

This is a story full of steaming scenes! Elizabeth, who has been trying to stay in control all her life, loses all control when she meets Adam. And despite all her walls around her heart, she loses the battle and gives her heart to this man who sees her as she is and doesn't want to change anything. I like the character of Adam well. You soon feel in the story that he not only sees Elizabeth as a holiday lover, but wants more. His career as a mechanic with a racing team won't make it easy, but that doesn't stop him. He knows how to deal with the uncertainties that Elizabeth has and dares to get her a little further out of her comfort zone every time without pushing too hard. He is her knight in shining armor but also finds it important that she makes the choices in her life. Preferably with him in it.
A nice story to read, lots of steamy sex scenes. I like books that describe sex in detail ....... but in this book the sex scenes had a bigger place than the story and I thought that was a shame

He had a connection with her that was missing with anyone else!
by sewsummore

Who can you trust when you can't trust your parents? It is a question Elizabeth has had to face many times in her life. Now she has a new name, a job she loves and a life that is filled with the sadness of absent friends or significant other. She is a woman who enjoys sex and has it when she wants with no emotional ties. Alone at a bar a stranger comes and sits next to her, in town for two weeks it was supposed to be a hookup for sex and gone. Adam was a man who knew his way around women, their chemistry was electric and intense, but breaking down Elizabeth's walls may be more than even he could achieve. I loved the romance of this story, Adam had a connection with Elizabeth that he had never found with anyone else and he was determined to keep her. Elizabeth's trust had been broken years ago, could she dare trust again?
