Michel Fiffe is the creator of the action series COPRA, published by Bergen Street Press, and the intimately surreal Zegas, collected by Fantagraphics. He's worked with Marvel, Valiant, and BOOM! and continues to serialize COPRA when he's not writing massive essays on comics of note. Fiffe has produced Bloodstrike: Brutalists (Image Comics) and G.I. Joe: Sierra Muerte (IDW) in their entirety and has recently launched a new title, Negativeland.

I feel like I'm missing something with this ending, because all the reviews seem to LOVE it. Personally, I found it a little anti-climatic. That might be because of the review-lead-up to me actually reading it.

Don't get me wrong! It's a great volume and a solid ending, but I think I was expecting something more emotional or epic.

So, again, it's great and this series is great and I hope it gets an omnibus treatment someday. But the hype wires got crossed along the way.
