This does not waste time with the setup and jumps straight into ACTION.

Four young girls meet up on their paper run, but this day is not like the others. Soon they'll be running for their lives.

I don't want to spoil anything, but safe to say this is a fun sci-fi romp involving time travel and dinosaur-like creatures so I was very entertained.

The girls are 12, so there are some great moments around that, showing their age but contrasting well with events and things. They're headstrong and make a fantastic group.

The writing is punchy and to the point, with plenty of character and fun alongside the dire circumstances. Artwork is brilliant with a pink colour palette washing over everything to add to the eerieness.

This was a fantastic first volume, and the backpack edition packs plenty of the story into a perfectly portable format. Highly recommend this one for graphic novel fans looking for something with a quirky, sci-fi twist.
