Review
Terrance wasn’t as tough as he thought he was. He should’ve left Sydney alone instead of trying to break her down. That wasn’t going to happen on Khrome’s watch, and he made sure of it.
Ava was just pitiful and pathetic. She lost a great friend for someone who showed her time and time again that she didn’t mean anything to him. May she burn in eternal hell.

Terrance was a whole mess from start to finish.
Ava felt off from the very beginning too. Even her son’s name had my antennas up. When someone that close to you is angrier about your situation than you are, that’s never normal. That was a red flag to me.
Ava wanting a man is one thing, but wanting a man she watched abuse her supposed best friend for years is nasty work. Then helping him avoid the divorce Sydney wanted was stupid. Terrance treating Ava like trash was satisfying, because why are you dealing with a man married to your best friend, and who doesn’t want anything to do with you or your child. She really destroyed her own life for a man who never respected her.
Khrome brought a completely different energy. He came with pressure, but not in a toxic way. It was steady, inevitable, and you could feel Sydney slowly giving in even if she didn’t want to admit it yet.
What I appreciated most was how Sydney was written. I was relieved she wasn’t portrayed as clueless or weak. The moment she picked up on that familiar scent, I was like thank you, because it was obvious. The author didn’t drag out something that blatant. Overall decent read.

Finding her inner strength and safe space
Dayum!!! This author didn't come to play with this story. Betrayal is at an all time high and that ending is a prime example of being careful about digging a ditch for someone else because you may be digging your own. I have no feelings about Ava and Terrance's dog azzes except they got what they deserved. I love Krome and how he is with Sydney, giving her something she can truly feel. He sees her and she really needs to be seen. The title of this story is perfect because Terrance is definitely unhinged by his own making. He made his cross so now he has to bear it. I am shocked by the ending so I'm ready to see what happens next. This author brings out the emotions while reading, happy, mad, annoyance, and ahhh. And also, whoop that trick attitude because that's exactly what Ava and Terrance need. Syd was founding and using her own strength that they couldn't believe but I'm glad she found her safe space. He really about to go ape shhh when he finds out ending. The drama is on one, so I highly recommend.

That's exactly what her azz gets!!! I knew Ava was on bull💩 from that little outburst when Terrance showed up to take Sydney to lunch. Sydney should have peeped then that her bestie was an opp. Terrance is just as mentally disturbed as Ava. His evil arrogance is his downfall tho. Khrome and playing when it comes to Sydney so even though Terrance locked up Khrome making him pay with his dignity. I hope someone make it to Sydney in time before she ends up like Ava.💓💓

Sydney was surrounded by snakes. Terrance and Ava definitely deserved each other. Sydney definitely didn’t need enemies because she was married to one and friends with the other. Ava couldn’t grasp that no matter what she would always be just Terrance side piece no matter how many kids she had for him. Ava found out the hard way about biting the hand that fed her once Sydney found out her godchild was her husband love child. Khrome was the breath of fresh air that Sydney needed. Waiting on book 2

It's such a great read. Sydney acted so dense to say she was a college professor. Ava and Terrance are two unpredictable individuals. I was really frustrated with Terrance acting the way he was acting, and I just wanted to put hands and feet on Ava. I love Khrome for Sydney. She needs a real man even if he's younger. Ava and sweet lips Terrance deserved what they got! Can't wait for part 2!

Sydney couldn’t catch a break! So the two most important people just hated her without a valid reason! I wasn’t too shocked about the way Terrance acted he truly couldn’t see himself losing but Ava was a shocker! With a friend like her who needs enemies! I wasn’t too shocked happy to Khrome come in and give Sydney what she needed I’m hoping she gets to keep it! Book 2 is definitely needed!

This was a good book. Terrance had me ready to throw my Kindle so many times. I love the relationship between Khrome and Sydney. Ava has totally lost her mind but I can't wait for a book 2 because the cliffhanger was something else. Definitely a lot to look forward to and I definitely recommend this book to others.

This was crazy. I can’t believe Ava crazy ass. Like she was really dizzy over dick. I feel like Terrance father could’ve done more to control his fucking son. He created a monster and the tried to play the field with Sydney. And I’m glad Terrance ass got humiliated in the end.

Great read! Oh my goodness, Terrance is nothing but a narcissist through and through! Sydney should have left him a long time ago. Ava is supposed to be Sydney’s best friend but sleeping with her husband Terrance. I hope the divorce is granted to Sydney so she can be a couple with Khrome! Part two is now available and on my way to read it!
